Fully
(Sorry I haven't updated that much, to busy and also procrastinating. Ah the wonders of procrastination. But anyway, this is with the au of little Ruben and little Seb were friends in their childhoods. But don't worry, it's not really a sad story.)
-Thirteen of so years ago-
"Sebastian, where are you." Ruben calls out, not noticing the small bump in the curtains. Ruben looks around for the other boy. "I have already found Laura, you might as well come out too."
Sebastian giggles to himself, watching as Ruben turns his back from where Sebastian was cleverly-ish hidden. Slowly, he pulls back the curtain; silently, and sneaks up behind Ruben. "Boo!" He yells, slapping his hands onto Ruben's shoulders.
A scream erupts from Ruben's pale mouth. Quickly he spins around, sees Sebastian grinning, and punches him softly in the arm.
"Bully." Ruben laughs, letting what his friend rudely did to him roll off his back. "Maybe I should tell Laura that you scared me."
Sebastian pretends to get all scared and flustered by that. "Oh no, don't tell Laura." He says, acting quite obviously. Sebastian rolls his eyes in annoyance. "The worst she would do is tell me not to do that and then bake me cookies or something."
Ruben laughs, nodding in agreement. "Yeah, she probably would." He says, going silent. The two boys stand in silence, slowly it was getting awkward. "Your having to move soon, right?" Ruben says, looking at Sebastian with saddened eyes.
Sebastian sighs, scratching the back of his neck. "Yeah, my parents want me to grow up like a 'normal' kid, whatever that means." Sebastian says, in slight shame though it really isn't his fault.
Ruben's frown grows as he bites his bottom lip. But he then gets a idea and looks up at Sebastian. "Can you do me a favor?"
Sebastian looks at Ruben, raising his eyebrow in question. "Maybe, what's the favor?" He asks, watching as Ruben sighs and scratches his shoulder.
"Can you please live your life as fully as possible? Because I actually want you to have a good life with surprises; both good or bad ones, while I'm not going to be able too. Cause my life is kinda already planned out for me." Ruben says, slightly rambling.
Sebastian looks at Ruben with saddened eyes, but slowly he nods. "Yeah, I will try my best."
-Now-
Sebastian walked through the mansion that was all to familiar to him. Not knowing why he was brought here. "Damn it, Ruvik what are you trying to do? Bring back my old memories?" He growls. Slowly he chefs the whole mansion, top to bottom.
But suddenly, the air becomes a tint of blue, surprising Sebastian. He looks around, only for his eyes to lay on Ruvik, whom was walking towards him.
"Shit!" Sebastian mumbles, running in the opposite direction. Without thinking where to go, he finds himself cornered. He watches as Ruvik slowly walks up to him, but when he gets a for away; he stops.
Looking up, Ruvik stares into Sebastian's eyes, a slight grin playing on his face. "Hello, Seb." He says, his voice sounding oddly familiar. He leans forward, his face only a inch away from Sebastian's, whom is shaking in fear. "Have you lived your life fully, as I asked you to so many years ago?"
Sebastian stands there, trying to remember what he means. I don't know Ruvik, Ruben asked that... He thinks to himself. Then he gets wide eyed when he realizes who Ruvik truly is. "R-Ruben?"
"The one and only. But you haven't answered my question." Ruvik says, in annoyance. He leans away from Sebastian, giving him more space.
Sebastian smiles, his fear slipping away; not completely, just most of it. "Yes, I have been living my life fully. If has had its ups and downs, but it's still a good life." He answers, awkwardly grinning.
Ruvik takes a step back, his mouth in a clear smile. "Wonderful." And with that, Ruvik teleports away; leaving Sebastian alone.
"Well what the hell, Ruben?" Sebastian mumbles, silently laughing to himself.
