(This is an AU which in it, Ruvik is an immortal (With certain powers) but Sebastain is not. The story takes place at multiple times, I'll try to make it obvious when the paragraphs are written. In this I was trying to make it more poetic, so I apologize if it isn't that good.)

Forever.
That's what Ruvik always said. Sebastian never knew that he meant what he said was literal. After all, everyone says forever, but it never happens.

They met on a pouring day. Sebastian was walking home, under the cover of his umbrella. Ruvik however, did not. Sebastian, being a very nice man, he took Ruvik in. Ruvik appreciated Sebastian's kindness, but he never showed it. But after a while, Ruvik warmed up to Sebastian.

It didn't take long for them to become lovers after that. Sebastian's friends didn't like it, they didn't trust Ruvik. Sebastian never listened, to Ruvik's surprise. And to Sebastian's surprise, whenever Ruvik would say those special words, he looked guilty.
Then word came. Sebastian had a small copper spear embedded in his chest. Ruvik hated to hear and say the name of the thing that was killing Sebastian. And though time was running out, Ruvik refused to see the man he loved on his death bed.

But finally he went to see his boyfriend on his death bed. They spoke very few words. The silence killing the both of them. Finally Ruvik spoke the worse would he could at the time; "I will love you forever." His hand quickly left Sebastian's shoulder, and his person soon from the room. Before Sebastian could reply, a buzzing entered the room.

The dead man's friends of course visited the grave, but they never saw Sebastian's lover. The only one they saw that they never knew was a ghostly figure dressed in a white cloak. They agreed it was just another ghost lost after death, unknowing.

He never lied, he stuck to his words. And even after centuries after the demise of Sebastian. The ghostly figure never leaves even after humanity did.
