"Kenshin, where are we going?" Kaoru asks.

"I wish I could tell you." I say.

I have no idea where I'm going. I mean, I'm just following my nose.  It's just like in that dream. Only now I don't feel the fire around me or in me. I push past branches and then I see it.

The tree trunk. The tree trunk in my dream. It looks old. It looks ancient. I'm drawn to it. The smell is like a drug to me.Why? Why does it drive me insane?

"Kenshin?" Kaoru asks.

I ignore her. I walk over to the tree stump. I sat here. Why? This calls to me. Even though the language is practically gibberish. I understand it. It calls my name. The laungage is alien to normal ears.

"Anara kagora hasheee." I hear whispers.

"Kenshin!" I hear a yell behind me.

I turn. Kaoru looks at me.

"What is with you?" She asks.

"Ugh you dragged us to this place for what reason?" Megumi whines.

I look at the tree stump.

"Anara kagora hasheee." I hear again.

"Kenshin, let's go." Kaoru gives me her hand.

I nod and I take it. I take one last look at the tree stump and I see it glow life fire. The rings glow like fire.
