ACT ONE | The Death of the Hand

Seven and ten years have passed since Lord Robert Baratheon of Storm's End became King of the Seven Kingdoms. Seven and ten years since he ended the long standing reign of House Targaryen with his rebellion

However, despite his great accomplishment of ending the recent tyrany of the Mad King Aerys Targaryen by the year 298 AC, King Robert had led the crown into bankruptcy, and even worse, had left it in debt with the prideful House Lannister of Lannisport, despite the bankruptcy and the debt that the Crown was in, Robert had manage
to bring the Realm back to a state of peace and prosperity that it had not seen since the rule of King Daeron I, who had brought Dorne into the Seven Kingdoms during his rule.

Unfortunately, good things never last, as the people of the Seven Kingdoms had come to know over the centuries, and this time, misfortune fell on the Royal Family with the suspicious death of Lord Jon Arryn of the Vale, who since King Robert's crowning, had been his Hand of the King and who from the moment of Robert's parents' death had been his father.

While rumours and whispers of the true cause of death of the Hand of the King still travelled by word of mouth through out the city of King's Landing, his Lady Wife, Lady Lysa Tully, returned to the Vale with their young son, and heir, Lord Robin Arryn. While King Robert travelled North, to Winterfell, for the only person he could truly trust to be by his side and aid him, his boyhood closest friend, and once upon a time, nearly good brother, Lord Eddard "Ned" Stark of Winterfell, a good man of principals and honour.

However Eddard's brother, Torrhen 'Hammerhand' Stark had arrived to Winterfell around the same time as Robert and his family and begun to change the fate and events of the Realm and its inhabitants from their ultimate doom...
