Memories
"EXTERMINATE!"
A loud robotic voice yelled before green lasers flew around Sean. He felt Robin drag him out of harms way with Mark saving Amy, Ethan and Signe.
Two people were lying dead on the grass, and he felt a stab of remorse in his heart for them, even though he didn't know them.
"To the TARDIS!" Mark declared.
Sean opened his mouth to say something-
"Sean, wake up!"
Sean jolted awake with a sharp gasp, wildly looking around him as he sat up. He was home.
He was safe.
He allowed himself to relax as he laid back down on his pillow, gulping in fresh breaths of air.
He could still hear the screams of he dying in his ears and the calls of the killer machines. He could smell smoke from the burning buildings every time he took a breath and images of someone that looked like Billy haunted him every time he closed his eyes.
"Another nightmare?" Signe prompted, sitting down next to him.
"It's the same damn one." Sean shook his head in frustration, wishing he could understand it.
"Will pancakes make you feel better?" Signe raised a questioning eyebrow, a smirk playing onto her wine colored lips.
"Pancakes make everything better." Sean nodded with a small smile, watching her leave the room before he changed out of his sweat soaked pjs and into a light blue v-neck shirt and dark blue jeans.
"Robin's coming over today to hang out at the new house." Signe reminded him as he walked into the kitchen.
"Yes!" Sean exclaimed in excitement like a kid on Christmas as he sat down at the table, Signe handing him a plate loaded with a stack of chocolate chip pancakes drenched in syrup.
"Aren't we supposed to be dieting?" Sean mumbled through a mouthful of pancake.
"Everyone has cheat days." Signe shrugged as she sat down beside him with her own food.
"You gonna record a video with him?" Signe asked.
"If he's cool with it." Sean replied.
"I'm sure he will be." Signe assured him.
After breakfast, Sean scrolled through social media until he heard a knock on the door.
"I got it!" Sean told Signe as he darted to the door and opened it.
"Hey Sean!" Robin greeted him enthusiastically, giving him a high five before he entered, allowing Sean to close the door behind him.
"So,"
Sean clapped his hands together with a grin.
"What do you want to do?"
"You're the pr-boss." Robin cleared his throat awkwardly.
"Were you gonna call me a prick?" Sean gasped in mock shock.
"I mean, I can't tell a lie." Robin chuckled, instantly seeming to relax again.
"Sean, you need to start picking up your toys." Signe scooped up a plush Sam off of the living room floor and tossed it towards him.
Sean watched as it bounced across the floor, his head burning as a new memory crashed over him.
He could see a small eyeball with a blue pupil bounding around with other eyeballs that had different colored pupils, although they all seemed to be ignoring him.
"Dad, I want that one!" He pointed at the small blue one, watching it bound over to him and jump into his arms, wrapping his tail around his arm affectionately.
"What's his name then?" His dad chuckled.
"Sam. Septiceye Sam." Sean decided with a grin.
"Sean, are you okay?"
Sean blinked and realized that he was sitting on the couch, the plush clutched tightly in his arms.
"Yeah...just some kind of weird dream." Sean shook his head as he stood up.
"Robin, can I talk to you?" Signe asked him.
He nodded and followed her into the bedroom, leaving the door slightly ajar.
Sean walked into the recording room to set up a game to play with Robin, but froze when he heard Signe start talking.
"The dreams started in Ireland and they haven't stopped even though we moved, I don't know what else to do." She sighed in exasperation, her tone hushed, but still audible to Sean.
"Maybe they'll go away over time?" Robin thought aloud.
"They seem to be getting more frequent and vivid overtime." Signe observed with a tinge of worry evident in her tone.
"Should we tell him the truth? I mean, he's bound to find out eventually." Robin pointed out.
"Well how are we supposed to tell him that he's the prince of-"
"Shh, he might hear you!" Robin hissed, cutting her off.
What the hell are they talking about?, Sean wondered in bewilderment, unmoving from where he was sitting at his desk.
"Sorry, Signe wanted to ask if I could edit her videos." Robin explained as he walked into the recording room, his hazel eyes betraying his nervousness.
"Dude, you don't need to lie. What's with calling me a prince? There's literally nothing special about me." Sean gestured at himself.
"Don't worry about it-"
"No, tell me. What's up?" Sean pressed.
"I can't tell you." Robin shook his head, turning around to leave.
"Tell me!" Sean demanded, grabbing Robin's arm and forcing him to turn around so he was facing Sean.
"I'm sorry." Robin apologized quietly as he shook his head.
"Get Signe in here." Sean growled, his patience thin.
Robin gladly retreated out of the room, shortly returning with Signe by his side.
"What Sean?" Signe frowned in confusion.
"Why did you call me a prince? What could I even be the prince of?" Sean blurted.
"Sean-"
"Am I just crazy?" Sean rubbed his face in his hands, his head aching.
"Well, you're not any crazier than usual." Signe joked weakly.
"Fine, I'm just gonna play a game with Mark." Sean huffed, storming away from them and sitting down in his seat before calling Mark on Skype.
He answered on the fourth ring.
"Hey Sean!" Mark waved.
His background was pitch black, so Sean couldn't see anything behind him.
"Are you talking to Sean?"
Jack faintly heard Amy say in the background.
"Yeah!" Mark yelled over his shoulder before turning back to face Sean.
"Sorry about that, a bit busy at the moment. Can I call you back?" Mark spoke quickly.
"Engineer!" Amy cried.
From behind, Sean heard sirens go off before Mark hastily ended the call.
Engineer.
The word repeated itself in Sean's head like a broken record as all of his memories came back in a flood.
His parents Sean and Betty McBoss.
His pet septiceye Sam.
Daleks and the Billycons.
Bossatronia.
That was when Sean passed out, his vision abruptly engulfed in darkness before his body even hit the carpet floor.
