Wake Up!
!Warning!
There is a non-explicit, short rape scene at the beginning of the chapter
Ally ran as fast as she could. She didn't simply run, she was running for her life. Without any idea who was after her, even less about the reasons, the only thing she knew for sure, if he would ever catch up to her, she can't expect mercy. She gathered all her strength to get away from the pursuer, yet those heavy black boots stomped closer and closer to her.
She turned the next corner, and it proved to be a huge mistake. She got to a huge empty hall, which had only one door, making it the endpoint of her escape. Immediately turned around to face her aggressor, but it was too late. She felt a huge hit on the left side of her head, and in the next second, she was laying on the ground. She tried to get up and fight back, but the attacker punched her in the stomach, which rendered her incapable. That was everything the dark figure wanted. He dragged the pants off her, and crassly grabbed her crotch. Pain filled the girl's body, but as the helmeted figure touched her pussy, it felt strangely warm too.
"Please, let me go" she begged as she tried to catch her breath. The dark figure knew no mercy. He was ruthlessly grabbing Ally's crotch causing a great deal of awful pain to her, but he didn't care a bit.
"Now you'll scream bitch!" he said with the helmet making his voice almost unintelligibly muffled while he unzipped his pants.
Ally started to cry, but the rapist didn't care about it either. With one single push, he penetrated her and fearfully groaned with every single push. Ally tried to push him away, but all she managed to achieve with the flailing is to hit the helmet off the rapist's head. She looked up surprised. Despite all the pain, and terrible things she was experiencing at the moment, her expression turned to puzzled, and she suddenly blurted out:
"Me!?"
Like a spring catapulted her, she jumped up sitting on her bed. Her heart was racing, her breathing was haphazard, and her hair was as wet as she just took a swim in the freezing water of the Bay. She looked back at her pillow, where a large wet spot marked the place where her head was resting five seconds ago.
"It was just a dream" she sighed. "A stupid fucking dream again."
She got out of bed and went to the bathroom. She needed a shower because felt awfully dirty. Didn't even care about getting rid of her nightgown, just stood under the shower dressed as she was.
"Why do I dream this again?" she asked herself. "And lately why with women? And tonight why with myself? It's getting sicker and sicker. If it was Chris Pratt or Ryan Gosling at least, mmmhmm... I might like that... Shut up Alison, you're crazy!" She turned up cold water to chase away these thoughts.
After the shower, she went back to her room, changed the bedsheets, and laid down to sleep. It didn't take much to run from her strapon wearing self again.
In the morning she awoke so disturbed like she didn't sleep a second during the night. Despite feeling like a sandwich that was ran over by a steamroller she crawled out of bed. She wiped her eyes with her palm before putting her glasses on, then tried to regulate her short auburn messy hair to make her look a little more decent so the mirror wouldn't crack as soon as her reflection appears in it. By the time she left got to the bathroom, other than sure as hell the bloodshot in her brown eyes, and dry cracks on her full lips, she felt she probably looked moderately fine.
Despite it, she tossed her towel on the mirror, because really didn't want to take a look at her reflection even for the split second she went by it on her way to the shower.
"Nope, not yet" she groaned.
"What did you say, sweetie?" her mother yelled from the hall.
"Nothing" she shouted back while putting her glasses down. "Why do I even put these on?" she wondered drowsily. Her sight wasn't exactly razor-sharp, but it's not like she needed glasses to find the bathroom mere three meters away from her room.
After the shower, she dressed up and went down to the ground floor to have breakfast with the family. When she stepped into the dining room, her parents were already sitting at the table, and her sister Jenny was impatiently jittering on the chair.
"Finally, Cinderella arrived too. We always have to wait for you" Jenny said scoldingly. Despite being seventeen, her usual behavior had more resemblance to a ten-year-old. At least according to Alison.
"Shut it, Jenny! Don't forget I don't fear to sit on your head" Ally said threateningly, as a reference to her sister's constant remarks about her minor overweight.
"Jenny, don't be like that to your sister, and Ally, you should show her an example! - their mother scolded them." You are twenty-two for God's sake.
"But she started it" Alison defended herself, not like this reasoning ever saved anybody from a reprimand. It wasn't any different this time either.
"Don't care. Sit down already, and eat!"
Ally sat down, but Jenny couldn't help sticking her tongue out at her when neither of their parents looked at them.
"By the way, Aurora was the one with the hundred years long sleep, not Cinderella" Alison stated to her sister.
"You sure know that, sleepaholic."
"Girls!" their mother exclaimed. "Stop with it right away!"
They both went silent but exchanged vengeful glares during the whole breakfast.

As soon as they finished eating, Ally went to her room, changed clothes and left home. She told everybody she was gonna work, but couldn't be any further the truth with that. She had to get down to this nightmare problem, but she didn't know anybody she would dare to tell about it, so just tried to clear her head with the walk. Had been wandering for a while on the up and down streets of San Francisco when a window sign caught her attention.
Sharon Stuartson M.D
Psychologist
She gazed at the sign perplexed for a while wondering whether it was a sign by a higher power. It did look like that for sure, but Ally wasn't convinced if she was able to tell about her problems to a perfect stranger.
She launched toward the building several times, but always stopped, and turned away from it hesitantly. Would it really be a good idea to tell her deepest secret to someone she knew nothing about? After minutes of undecided walking up and down, her curiosity won, and she started off to the entrance of the building. She was about to open the door when it almost hit her in the head. She jumped backward startled, and it just got even worse, when she saw her best friend stepping out of the door.
"K-kensi" she stuttered.
"Hey girl!" the other girl hugged her. "What brought you here?"
"I-I... I mean" Ally was searching for the words that could distract Kensi's attention, as she really didn't want to tell about her problems. "I mean..."
"Oh! My! God! Don't tell me you were hurrying to doc Sharon."
"Who? Me? Pfh! I'm not a nutjob!" she looked at Kensi offended.
"Oh, you really do. You go to a psychologist."
"No, I don't!"
"Don't deny it. How else could you know by the 'doc' that she is a shrink?"
"But I don't... Wait! Do you go to a psychologist?"
"Yup. There's nothing to be ashamed about it."
"And... and why?"
"No-no, girl. If you don't admit you are treated, why would I tell about mine?"
"But I really don't go to sessions..." Ally looked down "yet."
"Yet? So this will be your first?"
"I-I... don't wanna talk about it" Abby sputtered, then turned around to get away from the building as far as that was possible. It would have been hard to tell whether she was ashamed for her dreams, or being caught at the door of a shrink, the only thing that was absolutely sure it wasn't something to talk about with Kensi. She was a great friend, but also a world-class troublemaker, who couldn't take anything seriously in her life. Of course, with the running away, Ally might as well asked her to keep prying more for some good stuff, because she wasn't exactly famous for her discreet behavior either.
"Oh, come on!" Kensi said as she caught up. "We've known each other since we were kids. You know you can tell me anything."
"But-but, not this. Please leave me alone."
"Why? It can't be that awkward."
"Please, don't pry."
"I won't leave you alone, you know that." Kensi accelerated a bit so she could step in front of Ally, blocking the way to move forward. "You know ME."
"Oh, you wouldn't d..."
Ally couldn't even finish the sentence before Kensi started yelling.
"Little Ally went crazy! She's a nutjob and laz..." that was where Ally covered her mouth.
"Stop it! Stop it, I'll tell you."
"You see? It wasn't that hard, right?"
"I hate you."
"Oh, I hate you very much too. Now, speak!"
Allison closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and began telling the story.
"It's... you know... lately, I've been having weird dreams."
"That's it? That's nothing."
"I can't sleep because of them."
"Okay, but what are those dreams exactly?"
"I won't tell you that."
"That stupid girl ally. Has gone totally doolally" Kensi began another awful sing.
"Stop it!"
- Will you tell it?
Ally looked at her friend irritated, but that just smiled back at her.
"Okay. These dreams have a sexual nature."
"Gee! I would have never guessed."
"Don't be such an ass! So... lately, I dream that... I'm getting raped."
"Everybody dreams such things. Is it good at least?"
"No, it's not like that. I'm... I'm raped by women."
"Oh."
"And last night the rapist was... it was me."
"That's brutal" Kensi was nodding with a wide grin on her face.
"Don't look like that, this is serious!"
"Sure it is. Little Ally turn lesbo, Kensi's body wololo."
"You're such an ass" Allison told angrily. "I regretted that one night a million times." she turned around again and tried to get away from her friend, but that was quicker than her once again.
"Oh, come on! Don't be like that" Kensi insisted. "You know I'm just kidding."
"Yes, that's exactly the problem! I told you something deeply personal, and you made a joke out of it."
"Don't be like that, A. You know me. We can talk seriously if you want to."
"No, and you just proved it."
Kensi sped up a little again, so she could stand in front of Ally and block her path once more.
"I'll be serious. Dead serious, I swear. Scout's honor."
"You haven't even been a scout!"
"Sure, but I still know it means a lot. Seriously. I won't make a joke out of you."
"You promise?"
"I promise."
Allison looked deeply in her friend's eyes, and for a second, she didn't see that mischievous glimpse in them, so after a sigh, she continued the story.
"Okay. So, my problem is, I can't sleep well because if these nightmares. And lately, it's been happening to me every single night."
"And how... exactly does it...? You know."
"Every dream starts with being chased by a figure in black leather pants, jacket, and helmet. I try to escape, but something always happens. I run into a dead-end, fall, or simply my legs stop working. It always ends with getting caught, she tears my pants off, and with the strap thingy... rapes me."
"That's hardcore" Kensi tried to look compassionate, but she wasn't that great at it. "Have you thought that it might happens because..."
"Because what?"
"You know that well. Because your sub-conscience tries to tell you this way that you became a lesbo."
"No!" Allison protested. "Why do you say such things?"
"I don't know, it just passed my mind. It's like the things the doc says: "The dreams are a reflection of our sub-conscience"
"I didn't become lesbo, stop it! You became lesbo!" Ally shot back her friend angrily.
"You weren't great enough in that night to turn me" Kensi laughed. "But I might have been too good."
"In your dreams."
"Nope. You dream with other girls, not me. And everybody knows I'm so good, I could keep even Todd Smith for a time being, even though he's gayer than the whole Blue Oyster Bar."
"Todd Smith stayed with you because as scrawny as he is, neither girls nor guys wanted anything from him."
"Don't talk like that. Scrawny guys are sexy."
Allison wanted to object to that statement, but Kensi covered her mouth.
"Wait! I figured out something" then she stopped. Ally waited patiently for a time, then asked irritatedly.
"And would you tell what that is?"
"Nope. Here and now, no. But I know how we will cure you of your nightmares" she said with a broad smile on her face.
"How exactly?"
"Tomorrow evening I'll tell."
"Tomorrow? I was gonna go to Olivia's party."
"Relax. We can go partying" Kensi winked. "Just trust me. Tomorrow evening I'll come by to you, and we go to the party."
"You are secretive" Allison looked at her friend suspiciously.
"I know" Kensi said with a singing voice. "I'll come by around ten. Don't leave without me."
Ally was looking shocked as her friend turned around, and carelessly galloped in the opposite direction.
"This girl is a whackjob" she told to herself.
She stared for a while because had no idea what to do at the moment. For a time, she seriously considered to go to that psychiatrist, because that - unlike Kensi - was actually a professional, but she was way too curious about what her friend planned. This crazy girl had been her bestie ever since she just remembered, but she wouldn't have been able to explain why. While she was a generally introverted girl, and usually preferred the solitude at home, Kensi was a powder keg constantly waiting to go off. While Ally wore loose, comfy clothes, to cover the tummy flap she hated, Kensi covered as little skin of her body, as that was legally allowed. They were like ice and fire, yet they found a middle ground that made both of them more comfortable in each other's company, than with anybody else.
Ally wondered for a while there, then decided it was the best to just go home, and tell her parents she misread her work schedule. Whatever Kensi had in her mind, that clearly must've been crazy enough to might make her forget the nightmares. And if not, that psychologist was there next week too.
