" they destroyed it. But... the void... it's closing" said Dora. Mala and Rema looked at it with concern.

In the void, the two teams were together as they accepted their fate. However, they saw the spirits around them opening the exit wider.

" the spirits are... helping us..." said Heather.

" of course. This is the least we can do. Your story does not end here" said Aria.

" come with us" said the twins.

They glided their way to the exit closer. Liu and Yukio looked back and saw Manus unconscious as they made their way to the exit.

" it's ok Liu, I'm pretty sure he will be fine" said Yukio. Liu simply smiled as they made their way out.

As they got out, they were greeted by the DV7.

" Liu!" Shouted Sean. She ran towards him as they both hugged each other.

" we did little bro" said Kala.

" yeah we did sis" said Pala as they both hugged each other.

" hey guys look" said Brooke as she pointed at Manus who was sat down.

" I thought, the power I wield, I can rule the world and everyone in it. What went wrong?" Said Manus.

" well... you were wrong in the first place. You were obsessed with power but... the true power is by your friends. We are stronger together. We may not be strong individually but we are together" said Yukio.

Manus looked at his hand and saw the force ring disappear.

" common. Let's rebuild this place together" said Liu.

Manus stood up and faced them.

" I would love to help you but... I must return to the Leo tribe. I need to make changes as well as my subjects are waiting for me" said Manus.

Rex's team arrived there as they faced Manus.

" Rex. I'm sorry. I made all of your lives miserable and difficult. I didn't mean to do this. I will do anything to make it right" said Manus.

" brother. We will do anything you say and we will follow you to the very end" said Rex.

Everyone bowed down to him as he smiled at them.

" um... Lonky, Nina?" Said a voice.

Nina and Lonky looked at the person and it was Lefnardo.

" your majesty?" Said Lonky.

" Lefnardo?" Said Nina.

" Lonky, I'm really sorry. I did these wrong actions and I put all of your lives in danger. I am willing to take any punishment necessary and I will have you be the next-" before Lefnardo can finish, Lonky spoke up.

" wait a minute, why do you care about the ranking so much? It's fine really. I'll wait for my time to come" said Lonky. Lefnardo smiled at him as he looked at Nina.

" Nina, the offer is still on the table, you can come back to the tribe again" said Lefnardo.

" thank you for that but... I think I'll stick to my current tribe if that's ok. I'll visit though if I'm welcomed" said Nina.

" yes you will be. We will welcome you with open arms. I'll put in a word for you. You will be both treated as heroes for the Giraffe tribe" said Lefnardo.

Nina smiled as she saw Lonky and Popo arguing.

" wow, you really don't want to go back to your old tribe?" Said Kala.

" even when the first prince offered you and you rejected it?" Said Nana.

" what can I say? I like the tribe I'm in now, plus, I didn't say I wouldn't visit the tribe" said Nina. They smiled at her as she smiled back.

" got you!" Said a voice.

Kuga and Brooke looked behind as they saw Mala and Dora catch the blue pullulu's each in their hands.

" um... who is that?" Said Nana.

" um... it's a really long story" said Dora. " and it's kinda best to keep them away from Pala and Kala for now"

" you'd be shocked once you know" said Kala.

The two teams came face to face with the Leo team again.

" see you soon, running man and running girl" said Manus.

" see you soon too" said Yukio.

" we'll be here" said Liu.

Manus nodded as he and his team walked away.

Everyone looked back at the tree of harmony and the materion.

" the gem and the materion is gone" said Brooke.

" it's ok. Maybe it'll come back after we finish rebuilding this place" said Heather.

" again..." said Gia as she rolled her eyes.

They all simply laughed at her comment before it died down.

" hey guys" said Brooke. Everyone then turned their attention to Brooke who began to speak.
" it's really nice being here and all. Really I do appreciate it. But... it seems that... I must be going now. You all seem to handle this well and I'm sure you're all able to power through it. I'm sorry that I can't stay forever, but... it's great meeting all of you. Goodbye, running man, running girl. I hope to see you all soon"

They all looked at her then smiled.

" yeah, it's great meeting you, fighting beside you Brooke. All of the memories of you will be forever remembered" said Yukio.

" if you need anything, we're here to help" said Gai as everyone nodded in agreement.

" thank you. I will think about it" said Brooke. And with that, she dashed off as she disappeared.

From above, Agent M was still alive as she stood on the platform.

" you did well, Brooke" said M as Brooke's platform was next to hers.

" I'm sorry M that I didn't do much" said Brooke.

" nonsense. You did well. I'm proud of you. You can rest now. I just want you to keep an eye on them for me. I'm sure they have some work they need to do. Let's go. I'll send you back home" said M.

Brooke nodded as the use the platform to fly away.

A couple months later...

Both Liu and Yukio were climbing the stairs to the entrance of the running man and running girls as they insert their card.

The door opened as they stepped onto the platform as it scanned their personal information.

" the running man and running girl was just a game from the start" said Liu.

" at first, we thought it was race to see who will get the ultimate power, but, there were many dark secrets that we didn't know" said Yukio.

Both of their platforms flew off to the stadium outside.

" however, with each others help, we were able to fight off the evil and now, we play these games for fun and with our friends. We are the running man and running girl" said Liu.

They saw their friends on their own platform as they entered their own platform park.

" representing the Bars tribe, Kuga. Representing the Monk tribe, Gai and Heather. Representing the Nyanya tribe, Miyo and Gia. Representing the witch tribe, Nina. Representing the Giraffe tribe, Lonky. Representing the Peng tribe, Nana and Popo. Representing the Empa tribe, Kala and Pala. Representing the Bug tribe, Liu and Yukio" said the announcer.

Everyone was at their place, ready to enter the newly established stadium.

" everyone, get ready. Set go!" Said the announcer.

" let's go!" Shouted Liu and Yukio.

" right" said everyone.

They jumped off their platform as they ran towards the stadium ready for their next game.

And that everyone is the end of season 2 of the running girls. I want to say thank you all for reading and supporting me in this journey and throughout this entire story. This has been a wild one even for me. I'm sorry that it took four/five years for me to make the second half of this story. It's because I wasn't able to watch the second half of the series but I really hope you all do enjoy this book as it has come to an end.
