Brighton, UK

Blake drove us towards Brighton, UK. We decided to get somewhat closer to Blake's relatives. I never met any of his cousins or siblings besides his younger one. His younger siblings named Macie and she's fairly sweet for a 13 year old. Though Blake would block her out of his mind because when I was at his house he wanted all his attention to me. I love how he shows me how much he loves me without actually telling me he loves me.

Since we had to do at most 2 trips to get gas, it made our money savings lessen. It wasn't too much, but I would've liked to keep that money. I suppose that's the way of life, getting money and loosing money.

Once we got there, we stopped our car in a parking lot to a gas station and looked for houses selling nearby his family. Blake doesn't actually know what neighborhood or address Seán's house, but the only thing he can remember is one neighborhood that was close to that. There wasn't to much to choose from, but one caught our eyes. It was for rent and was moderately big for two people. It barely made it to our money span, so we have only about a year of living there. It looked clean, looked new but not too new, seemed just about right for us. We decided to meet the seller and buy it! Blake even said it was close to the neighborhood that he remembers! We had to do paperwork though, which was a pain, but it was definitely worth it.

The house was next to look alike houses, but had differences. One was a red brick house that is either a one story building or had a downstairs underground. The other one was practically the same, but the windows were in different places, same with the door. Their lawns were green and looked healthy. I already love this place!

Our house itself was a little inch of differentiation than the rest. It was a two story building. As in it's taller than the rest. I kinda like standing out, it makes me feel bold yet somewhat uncomfortable.

We put our suitcases in and the place was white inside. I know it'll be a pain to keep clean, but it looks so pretty, it's like the white glows in the dark.

"Should we unpack first or should we say hello to the neighbors?" I ask.

Blake laughs, "I am not having any communication to people already. Maybe we could give them a bash of cookies when we first meet them." He laughs.

"Only old people do that, Blake! Are you calling me old?"

"Old people and people who can actually cook. You are neither of those things."

I whisper, "We could buy cookies and pretend we made them, no one will know."

We both laugh and I decide to say hello to at least someone, while he starts to unpack our stuff. I felt bad to leave him through the unpacking, but he insisted. I hope the unpacking is easy for him.

I leave through the door. The door doesn't actually creek. It must be either new or the people who owned it never left the place. I instantly go to the left side of me, because I felt more attracted to that side. I always do for some reason. It is a uncommon, weird thing I do. But I like to go with my instincts.

I study the red bricked house. From the windows, it was also the color white inside. There was a lot of plants as well. I probably shouldn't be looking inside the house as a first impression, that'll make me seem like a total creep. I don't want that.

I stop looking through the window and decide to look around the house instead. It was a red bricked house, it had a door, a roof, everything that looked familiar to the other houses. There wasn't any cars, it must be been in the garage. Anything other then that, There wasn't really anything to see from the unnatural. Besides the placing of the door and of the windows. I quickly walk up to the door. I was about to knock but then right before my knuckles hit the wood I hesitated. What if they don't like me? Is it weird to say hello to neighbors like this? I was scared for a moment, but I shouldn't get my own thoughts to stop me from possibly making new friends.

I knock on the door, only after a little while I hear shuffles coming from the other side. The door opens, to show a beautiful young looking lady. She had short, dark brown hair, with green eyes? I couldn't quite tell. She had light makeup on and was wearing a black sweatshirt that said "Deuces!" With a cartoon hand doing a peace sign. I have seen that shirt worn from someone else in the grocery store, but that was way back home. I suppose Brighton has some of the same selling clothes?

"May I help you?" Her voice sounds genuine, and doesn't sound like she is American.

"Uh . . . Oh! I'm the new neighbor. Sorry if I'm making any trouble."

"Not at all! It's nice to meet you." We shook hands.

"WHO IS IT, WEESH?"

We let go of hands, "OUR NEW NEIGHBOR! COME SAY HELLO!"

I hear some muffled mumbles as if the unknown man was talking to either himself or someone else. Soon I hear a door open from a distance.

"I'm Signe, and you?" She smiles her white teeth

"I'm Y/N. You have a very pretty name! Not to be cliche." She laughs.

I see a man with about the same colored hair as Signe's, but a more lighter shade. His hair was kinda shaved in the sides but on top of his head his hair is up. He probably used gel. His eyes were blue, popping right out. He has a very, very small beard. He was wearing a shirt that says "NO FUN." The text is white, bold colors but the rest of the long sleeved shirt is Black. The pants he was wearing was black leggings with holes on them at the knees. The scent of him was nice and balanced, unlike most guys who put too much cologne or put on gross cologne. He looks very handsome! Not in a weird way.

"You're the new neighbor, aye?" I can tell that he isn't American as well.

"Yep! My name is Y/N." I put my hand out for him to shake.

He shakes it, "Nice meetin' you. I'm Seán." He

Seán. That's one of Blake's family members.

Just in case, I don't say anything.

"Well, I just wanted to say hello. Sorry if I bothered y'all."

"Not at all!" Signs says.

"You're fine!" Seán also says at the same time.

They both look at each other at once. They both chuckle because they talked together at once. I grin, me and Blake would probably do the same thing. Signe and Seán remind me of my own relationship.

"Well, um . . . See you guys later I guess?" I smile awkwardly.

"Alright then." Seán says, "Cya later, new neighbor."

We all wave at each other and Signe closes the door. That experience was interesting and also awkward. I have to tell Blake about this. But what if he isn't the Seán we're looking for? No, it must. There isn't too many people with the name Seán, right? Maybe? Well, whatever his name is, it's worth a shot. Although, if it IS him, then wow! They look literally nothing alike! Maybe a few things, like their eyes, hair, and a little bit of the voice. But strangers could look alike! Ugh, why wen am I thinking about this? I'll just ask Blake and if I'm wrong then it'll be no big deal.

I dot even bother to say hello to the other neighbors, I need to tell Blake this info now!

I go into me and Blake's new, nice home. The inside of it smells like candles that Blake must've lit up. Already there's a few things that is set up. Like some accessories, pictures on the walls, and a Ikea table set up near the TV. I look around the atmosphere to see if Blake is anywhere nearby. He isn't.

"Blake?!"

"Yeah?"

I hear his voice go into one of the rooms. I follow where I heard his voice and soon find him in our bedroom.

"How did meeting the neighbors go?"

"I only met one. Actually—I met two. Two whole living people."

He stops what he's doing and looks at me, "Why didn't you meet anyone else?"

"Because." There was a pause, "I think I just met Seán."
