*Very short chapter up ahead!*

The car was parked right off the lane that would merge onto the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. Vehicles drove by as the girls sat in the car, thinking about which destination to write about in the little chits of paper in their hands.

Kiran was thinking about all the places that she could never visit due to her school and college.Shruti was thinking about that one place she always planned on going with her friends. Arya kept looking out of the window, thinking nothing. She was blank. She did not know where she wanted to go. She had been away from India for so long she thought she should open up Google Maps to take a look at the cities in India.

"Okay done!" Kiran exclaimed with excitement.

"Done!" Shruti added jotting down the city name and folding it, placing it in Kiran's open palm. 

They both looked at Arya who was still looking at the blank paper.

"Come on Arya! Don't think so much! Just write it, man!" Shruti told her.

"Yes, just ...let it go. Don't think so much!" Kiran added.

Arya sighed and then asked, "Do we actually have to go by car only or can we also take flights or trains ?" 

"Arre....you don't worry about the mode of travel, just write down the name of the place. Just do it!" Kiran answered hurriedly.

Arya covered the paper with her hands so as to not let the other 2 see what she wrote. She folded the paper and placed it in Kiran's hands, who then placed it in a paper cup. She shook the paper cup hard while closing her eyes and Arya and Shruti looked at her expectedly.

She stopped shaking the paper cup and took a deep breath in as the other 2 held their breaths. She gently picked out one folded paper and opened it.She saw the name of the place written on it and a smile came on her face. 

"What is it? Show us!" Shruti demanded.

She passed the chit to them as she started clapping in excitement.

"Sikkim?"  Shruti asked confused. Hearing "Sikkim", Arya smiled as she facepalmed.

"You wrote Sikkim?" Shruti asked Arya who nodded. With Kiran's squealing in the background, Shruti patted Arya's back stating, "Only you could have picked a place like this!" 

"I have never been to the North-East part of India, that's why I wrote it!" Arya said smiling. She had not thought that amongst the 3 of the chits, hers would get selected.

"Neither have I!" Kiran announced.

"Neither have I!" Shruti announced equally excitedly.

"What did you guys write?" Arya asked them.

"I wrote Puducherry!" Kiran announced.

"I wrote Leh!" Shruti informed.

"Those are good places, I have heard." Arya said.

"Yes, but we are going to Sikkim!" Kiran exclaimed happily, "Thank you, thank you, thank you so so much, Arya!" Kiran said as she hugged Arya sideways while Shruti looked at her two precious friends. 

"So.....what are we waiting for?" Shruti asked with excitement lacing every word she uttered.

"Let's go , let's go , let's goooooooooooooo..."Kiran shouted loudly, flapping her hands in the air as Arya looked on.

Sikkim. It always felt like a beautiful place to her. Beautiful, undiscovered, peaceful. 

Peace. It's been a long time since she has felt peace.

Maybe on this journey, she might just find what she is looking for.

Maybe all three of them might just find something that they need on this roadtrip.

Maybe this roadtrip wasn't such a bad idea.

I KNOW ITS A SHORT CHAPTER! This is the best I could come up with considering there is thing I have got going CALLED STUDIES AND ASSIGNMENTS AND MIDTERMS AND AHHHHHH OH MY GAWD HOW DO I KEEP UP!!!! BUT I DO , I DO KEEP UP! SO , ANYWAYS....

So Puducherry comes in Southern India, and it is my most favourite place in India after my hometown Ahmedabad. Leh is in Northern India and going on a road trip to Leh is probably on the bucket-list of every youth in India. Sikkim is a state in North-East India. North-East India has 7 states, and this region is not something that has been traveled to by most of the populace residing in the rest of India. I have not been there too. I would love to go there someday. For the time-being , my characters are on their way there, so that's fair enough!
