I lay still against the floor. Unable to make a move. Blood pours from.my body, as the 911 operator hangs up.

Sirens approach.

The door to the room, was locked. My father had made sure to lock it and put a few things on the side I was on to prevent me or anyone from getting in or out. He had destroyed ghe windows over the years, and they were boarded up. There was no way inside or out.

He did this to prevent people from escaping.

"We are the police! Come out with your hands up!!!"

A few minutes later, after silence.

A burst explodes, by my guess. They knocked down the door.

"Check every room. Turn over every thing! FIND THE GIRL!!!!"

I can hear loud knocking at the door, but it doesnt open.

Help.

Help.

I want to yell, but im unable to speak. I want to let them in, but im unable to move.

A single tear slides down my face.

My eyes shut close, as I drift in and out.

Suddenly, my heart stops. I struggle to breath, more unable to think.

My eyes forced open.

The door shoves open quickly, as I choke on my own air.

"She is in here. Go get help!!!! We need the stretcher hurey!!" A officer says as he kneels down next to me.

"You will be okie. Dont speak, dont try to move. You will be okie. Stay with me."

His warm hand presses my neck, my breathing becomes worse.

Everything becomes black.

My eyes flash open. My breathing has a coughing attack. As nurses rush to my bed side.

"Your awake! Take it easy, breath slow. In. Out. In. Out."

She practices breathing with me.

In.
Out.
In.
Out.

That feels better.

"Where am I? What happened?"

The nurse looks at me, and signals the others to leave the room.

"You almost died. We lost you for 2 hours. But we kept trying. We almost had no hope, but here you are. A week later. Breathing. And talking. You are strong. Do you know your name?"

Name.

Name.

I nod my head.

"What do you remember about yourself?"

"My name is Tessa Wild. I am 15. My mother was murdered when I was only 5. My father wants to kill me. I have no family anymore. I only know a officer named Nate. Who lives in the south side of the county."

She nods.

"Are you up to speaking with an officer? About what happpened?"

I stutter.

What if he hears. What if he did escape, and what if ill be dead if I tell?

Maybe telling the officer can help find him though.

Its worth a try. I guess.

I nod my head.

A officer enters, but not just any. Its Officer nate.

"Officer Nate!!!!!!" I say in exitement.

I get choked a little, but im fine overall.

"Nurse please leave us alone until later."

She heads out.

"Your tough kid, Tessa. I was scared to death when I saw the man attack you. Ive never felt so, afraid for someone, in my life. And before I go any further..we are still sesrching for the 2 that did this to you."

My heart sank. He did escape.

"What if he comes back for me!!!!!???"

"He wont" he assures me.

But what does he know.

"Can you tell me everything that happened when he kidnapped you."

I nod. But truly, im afraid to remember the incidents.

"Umm... I heard something in the woods. It was my father. He was wanting me. I tried to run, but a lady grabbed me. She held a knife to my throat. She let me go, to grab a rope or something. I ran towards your house. Before he caught up, but I couldnt reach you in time. He dragged me to the ground. He made me drink something. I dont know what it was, I felt sick after that. I woke up later, I do not know when or what time it was. I was lying on a metal bed. Hard. Cold. Beside me were needles. A remember a bottle of posion nearby them as well."

My head begins to hurt, as flashbacks startle into my mind. I grasps my head, wanting it to go away.

"Its okie, Tessa. Im right here, he cannot hurt you anymore. Any details, can help us catch him."

I continue. Despite the pain in my head.

"I remember him, walking in. Grabbing a needle. He told me it was posion. A few hours later I didnt feel well. I was coughing up blood..he laughed. I dont really know what happened after. I remember waking up the next day though. I was untied. And off of the bed. I had a major cut on my ankle, and all over my body. He walked in, I knew the door was unlocked. I didnt want to leave, afraid of him finding me. He paced infront of me. Staring at me. I looked away. He grabbed my hair multiple times, forcing him towards him."

Tears broke out.

"Umm... he.. said to obey him. I at first denied. Then he threatened to hang me...umm.. so I obeyed. He was trying to make me put some needle in me. I couldnt. I denied. He grabbed it...and stuck it hard into my neck. He told me it was..."

My heart began to pound, my eye sight dulled.

I was struggling to breath.

"Help." I say weakly.

He ran out, grabbing  a nurse.

"She is going into shock."

My eyes were still open, everything was fuzzy. I couldnt move. Couldnt breath.
I could only hear and see.

A shock ran through me.

Im okie.

I take a few deep breaths, blood pours from my mouth.

"Easy. Tessa. Easy. You will be fine."

I dont feel fine.

"Take this." She hands me a pill and a glass of water.

I take it.

- 3 hours later -

Im feeling much better. Im still coughing quite a bit. But im better.

"Drugs." I let out as Officer Nate enters once more.

He looked at me.

"The needle..he told me."

Coughs

"He told me, the needle was full of drugs. After. After he put it in me. I was knocked out. Throughout that time. He must of been doing something to me. I woke up, with him beside me. He had several knives in his hands. He was cutting me all over. I couldnt feel it, I couldnt feel anything. I couldnt see to well either. The rest, I really dont remember."

He looks down at me, after writing all I said onto his clipboard.

"That is all the info we need. Thanks Tessa..you are brave brave indeeed. Im going to go get the nurse to start on getting the drugs out of your system."

I nod.
