" Arguments and Macy's "
***
"They're gone."
Ollie groaned again, hitting his bat against the wall. Katrin was lounging against the wall of the hospital as they waited outside, although it soon became evident that Derek would not be coming out... at least not through this exit. He pointed to his cousin with his bat, his lips curled into a scowl. "What the hell were you thinking?"
The girl just rose an eyebrow in response. "I think what you're meaning to say is, 'gosh, Katrin, thank you for saving me from being mauled by a werewolf!'"
"He wouldn't have mauled me! "
"I'm sorry, are you blind?" The redhead rose to her feet, jabbing her finger into the boy's chest. "You can see the future, do you realize how much information you could potentially get about him? He wants you dead, Ollie, so I shot him with my motherfucking crossbow."
Ollie narrowed his eyes, mumbling crossly under his breath. "No me habría matado."
To his surprise Katrin just rolled her eyes. "El tenia garras."
"Hola," Stiles drawled sarcastically, walking over and rolling his eyes. "No more speaking Spanish! Okay?" He gestured sharply to Ollie. "Why were you even there in the first place?"
Ollie narrowed his eyes, clenching his teeth. "Because I knew that you would bring Derek here after we traced those texts! And I also know that when Derek is involved, things go wrong!"
"You could have died!"
"Um, last I checked you were the most human person here, and you don't have any form of defense!"
Stiles looked appalled. "I have my sarcasm!"
Katrin held up her hand. "I have a mini-crossbow."
"We're not talking about the crossbow right now!"
"Why not?"
"I know what this is about-" Ollie pointed to Stiles, who was beginning to look like he would rather be anywhere else. "-you're mad at me for asking Lydia to the dance!"
Katrin rolled her eyes, muttering something inaudible under her breath. Stiles's cheeks flushed red. He sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose and screwing his eyes shut, before raising his eyes to meet Ollie's. "Fine, yeah, I'm a little mad."
"Here we go-" Katrin muttered, sitting down on the pavement and crossing her legs, shoving her crossbow into her bag and crossing her arms, watching the boys like they were the stars of her favorite television show.
Ollie's nostrils flared. "Are you kidding me? You don't tell me that you're running into a potentially dangerous situation just because you're pissed that I'm friends with a girl you like."
"That's not what I-"
"Reallly? Because you've been acting super weird lately, and I'd like to know why!"
Katrin raised her arm, "I know why."
Stiles shot her an annoyed glare. "Just go play with your crossbow!"
Instead, the girl sighed deeplt, raising to her feet. She walked right over to Ollie, and proceeded to stomp down on his foot. The boy immediately grimaced at the spike of pain that shot up his foot. "Ow! What the fuck, Katrin?"
She grabbed his arm. "You're getting mad, and when you're mad, you say stupid things. So do us all a favour and walk away before you do something you'll regret."
The boy just stood there for a second, his hand clenched tightly around his bat. Finally, he sucked in a deep breath, turned around.
And walked away.

"-and then Stiles rammed his Jeep into the back of Melissa's car! Can you believe it? That sick fuck Peter asked her out to try and kill her, so it is a fair assumption that he may climb through your window any second now-"
Ollie sighed deeply, running his hands gently through his cat's fur as he listened to Katrin's ramble about all that has happened with Peter Hale, who apparently was related to Derek in some way. That wasn't even his biggest problem...
They were going dress shopping with Lydia and Allison today.
In his werewolf-induced haze, the days had blended together until the formal was right around the corner. Plus, he was miserable, so pretending to be all happy would be harder than usual.
Nicole rounded the corner. "Katrin!" She exclaimed, earning the attention of the redhead. The woman grinned, walking over to the small chair the girl was perched on, her voice excited. "You have to get something in either light colors, or dark green. Dark green looks really good with orange hair."
Kat blinked. "How about red?"
Nicole squinted, her tone skeptical. "How red?"
"Red like the blood of my enemies."
Thankfully, the doorbell rang before they could get fully invested in that conversation. Nicole perked up, pointing to Ollie. "You look like a hoodlum, take your hood down."
The boy scowled, but nevertheless obliged, pulling the black hood down and placing Simba gently behind him, begrudgedly following his mother to the door. Nicole swung the door open, obviously more excited about this than Ollie and Katrin combined.
Lydia stood outside the door, looking perfect as per usual. She smiled innocently up at Nicole, who seemed to melt at the sight of her. "Hello, ma'am."
Wow, apparently Lydia can be really polite when she wants to be. Ollie thought, a smile tugging on his lips as he raised a hand in greeting. "Hey, Lydia."
Her smile widened, "hi, Ollie-"
Katrin cursed as she tripped over her own feet, using her cousin's shoulder to steady herself as she managed a half-hearted grin in Lydia's direction. "Oh, hi, Lydia."
"Hi, Katrin."
Nicole's eyes drifted between the two girls, a disbelieving look on her face. "Wow, you guys really do look-"
Ollie cleared his throat warningly, making the woman cut off her observation, shaking her head and smiling. "Anyway, you guys have fun."
"Thanks, Nick," Ollie kissed her cheek, before grabbing Katrin's arm and rushing out the door, anxious to get this experience over with.

"Don't frown, someone could be falling in love with your smile."
At first, Oliver was unsure whether or not Lydia's statement was directed toward Allison or himself. Thankfully, she seemed to be looking at the other girl. The two were standing in front of Katrin and Ollie on the escalator, apparently having a much different conversation.
"You seriously just need to talk to Stiles!" Katrin exclaimed. "You look like a kicked puppy."
Ollie scowled. "He can talk to me."
"Jesus Christ, you guys sound like a bunch of thirteen year old girls." She rolled her eyes. "It's obvious that you like him, Ollie, and to be honest, I don't think he's mad at you for asking Lydia to the dance."
"Oh my God!" Lydia suddenly jumped in excitement, surprising the two by turning around to grab Katrin's arm, practically dragging the other girl off of the escalator and over to a rack of dresses. She grabbed one that was indeed, bright red, and held it in front of Kat's chest. "This color would look amazing on you!"
Ollie heard Allison chuckle to herself, and tilted his head. He figured that if they were going to be stuck in this Macy's together all day, he might as well start a conversation. "So... who are you going to the formal with?"
She brushed a piece of hair from her face. "Jackson. As friends." She turned to catch sight of the boy's expression, laughing to herself. "You look so disgusted."
He forced his face into a neutral expression, shrugging indifferently. "I have very strong opinions about Jackson."
"Any positive?"
"Nope."
Allison snorted, her attention apparently being caught, as she cocked an eyebrow. "Hey, is Scott here?"
"Not that I know of-"
"Then what on earth is Stiles doing?"
Ollie's head shot up, and he practically shoved Allison out of the way to see what she was referencing. Lo and behold, there was Stiles Stilinski, hanging out by the perfume. Oliver made a puzzled face as Stiles sprayed some perfume into the air, proceeding to cough his guts out when it blew back into his face.
Ollie lightly shook his head, forcing himself not to smile. "He's being a dumbass."
He heard a laugh and glanced over to where Katrin and Lydia were. It was Katrin who laughed, which surprised Ollie more than it should have as the girls sifted through dresses. Allison had disappeared, so Ollie walked over to the girls.
"What's going on over here?"
"Ollie!" Lydia grinned, holding up a dress. It was shorter, with a white skirt and light pink bodice. "What do you think?"
"You know, you could ask me that question a million times and I wouldn't know how to answer." He admitted, chuckling nervously. "It's beautiful... you would look beautiful in anything."
Lydia grinned, a blush dusting on her cheek as Katrin reached out to kick his shin. He grunted slightly, giving her a 'what the hell was that for?' look. She nudged her head to the side, and Ollie followed her gaze.
A man was talking to Allison. A tall, handsome man that looked awfully familiar to Ollie. His heart skipped a beat when he realized who it was. Peter Hale, just minus the scars.
He took a step forward, but before he could approach them, Allison hurried away, and Peter's eyes lifted to Ollie's.
They held eye contact for a few seconds, before Peter's lips quirked, and he turned and disappeared from sight.
A/N:
Okay, this was super rushed, and I skipped a lot, but since Ollie and Stiles are fighting, he wouldn't be involved in those shenanagins anyway.
The formal is the next chapter! Guys, I am so excited guess what will happen here:
Thank you for reading!
