{A/N. The picture above is Firefly, who also is called 'Lori' by her parents. In dragon, 'Lori' means 'our little broken survivor.'

Firefly's POV:

I smiled as the rest of the NeverSeen climbed onto my back. I was tempted to make the flight a bit bumpy for them, but decided on being nice. As I took off, I heard a scream. I bit back my laughter. "Try not to be terrified okay?" I told them. "Hold on tight!" I felt them grip tightly on my spine fur. I dived down and did a spiral, and whilst doing that, I focused on the Oasis pool. We all plunged in, And I quickly swam to the hole in the barriers. A crackle happened, and we went through into a breathable tunnel. I flew through it until we popped out of the Ocean. "H-how did that happen?!?" Fintan choked out. He seemed to be afraid of water. "We built contraptions that are hidden everywhere..." I said. "And?" Gisela said. "That's my way." {A/N. My way, My way or the highway vibes?} I said. Gisela frowned. "Nobody told us that dragons had their own different tunnel things through everywhere. We though that it was just the tunnels were just, well tunnels." She said. I sighed. "It's part of our defense. They don't know that each of the tunnels belong to a different dragon, so a sensor would go off." Gisela nodded at my words. "Good to know." She said. As my wings flapped, I saw My Kingdom grow closer and closer. Pushing myself harder, we soon reached the barrier. I crackle erupted around us, and I felt the electricity hiss. The NeverSeen didn't say much about it though. I quickly made sure they were still all on my back, though I was tempted to throw Glimmer off.... And We flew into my Kingdom. I landed. "Get off of me please." I said with no emotions. They all slid off of me. I quickly turned back into my Half-Elf Half-Dragon form, quickly fixing my purple hair. The Lilac tips looked more split then I liked, but it was fine. I quickly touched my horns, making sure they weren't dirty, and looked at my tail. It looked fine. I quickly looked at My subjects. "Big sis! You're back!" My little sister Scarlet lunged for me and strangled me in a hug. "Nice to see you too Scarlet." I said. "Where's Cora?" I asked Scarlet. "She is still in the Palace." Scarlet told me. I shivered, not wanting to face my parents. They had done so much harm to me I didn't think I could forgive them. But I tried to keep it cool. I really did.. I was the middle child of my Parents children. Cora was the oldest child, and Scarlet was the Youngest. I tried not to think about the pain my parents put me through. *'Kaida and Spiro have no hearts.'* I thought sourly. They never showed any love towards me after Scarlet hatched. Scarlet was always their perfect Wonder Dragonet. I tried not to be bitter. I tried not to be hateful towards my little sis. She did nothing wrong. But deep down, I know the hate will always be there, seething and hissing, waiting to emerge. I toyed with my tail for a bit, waiting for someone to say something. Tam coughed. "It looks nice here." He said, breaking the silence. "Thanks." I told him.

Tam's POV:

'*Why is it so hard to compliment all of the sudden?*' I wondered. Firefly's eyes darted around the town. "I hope my parents don't get here quick." Firefly muttered. I still heard her. "Why?" I asked her. She jumped a little, I noticed that she seemed to tense. "They.. weren't... well, aren't the best to me." She said simply. I heard flapping, and suddenly, two dragons landed by Firefly. They turned into half-elf  half-dragon forms and looked at us with cold, calculating eyes. Firefly clenched her jaw, and I shivered as their gaze passed over me. "You are the Neverseen? I Expected more." The girl spoke sourly. "Kaida. Remember what you said." Gisela snapped. Kaida looked at Gisela with an amused smile. "We can still deny." She said. Spyro rolled his eyes. "Father? Maybe we could bring them in the palace? Please?" Firefly said. She was rubbing her left arm, though she seemed not to notice that she was. "Fine." Spyro grunted. He clapped his hands in a weird way and guards came to Escort us. As we walked, other people would come up to Firefly and greet her warmly. The palace was a tall, jaw-dropping structure. It had many colors swirled  together, making it seem like you were looking through a prism. The lights the castle casted glew with cold light, as if they had trapped moons and stars. As we entered the palace, I noticed Firefly kept looking at the more purple shaded area of the castle. '*I wonder.. is that her area?*' I thought. "Well, we should get to the meeting."

"That.... was boring." I said. Firefly looked at me. "It really was. I'm glad the contract thing is over with now. I kinda don't want to go back to our so-called base." She told me. "Neither do I. It smells like a few imps and crocodiles died in there." I said. Firefly laughed. I felt a bit of blush creep across my face. '*Why am I blushing? NOW IS NOT THE TIME TO BE BLUSHING.*' I told myself sternly. "What even is there to do here?" Gisela asked us. "A lot actually. Oh! I want to show you something!" Firefly quickly ran of into the streets. We all chased after her. She led us to some sort of mountain. It had snow on the top, but lava was trailing off of the top of it. "What the?" Fintan gasped. Firefly quickly turned into her normal dragon form, the began to climb up the mountain, avoiding the lava that rushed towards her. She quickly got to the top, then she flew higher, and higher, and higher, until all we could see was a faint purple spec in the sky. She suddenly dived down, and we almost got squashed into elven pancakes as she flew over us. The swoosh of air was cold and gentle at the same time. I carefully focused, sure that It felt familiar.

1065 words! {Not counting my A/n.} Sorry i haven't updated much, I'm working on 3 other stories now on Wattpad, and on my Docs, 11.T-T.
