FORTY-SIX

November 15, 20XX- Saturday

The plan sounded easy on paper:

Sneak onto the boat

Travel to Incheon

Sneak into the airport

Make it past security.

The list was actually quite deceiving. Although short, there was actually a lot we had to do within each bullet point.

"Today, we're going to check out Yoongi's boat. Make sure it's running and have everything we need for the ride. Taehyung, you're going to have to be there."

Taehyung glanced up from eating breakfast. "And Hari?"

I turned to Namjoon, noticing how he slightly shifted his weight from foot to foot.

"Hoseok is going to stay with her."

Taehyung tensed up next to me, muttering a quiet, "No."

"Taehyung, she can't go with us and you know that."

Taehyung stared at Namjoon with dark eyes, "I said No. I'm never leaving her again."

I gulped as I stared between the two of them, Taehyung dead serious.

Namjoon closed his eyes first, sighing before giving in. "Fine. Yoongi and I will go, but Hoseok will stay with you and Hari and I'm going to need you two to get along. It might be a day or two until we come get you guys."

Taehyung didn't say anything.

Instead, he got up and grasped my hand to gently help me up and follow him.

As we were about to head into the hallway, Hoseok emerged from the shadows, the air growing thick.

"You stay away from us, you hear?"

I hid behind Taehyung, peeking up at Hoseok.

Hoseok's eyes shifted down to meet mine briefly before returning to Taehyung's, a tight smile in place.

"Of course."

Taehyung stared at him for a little bit longer before continuing to move forward, pulling me along with him.

Just as Hoseok moved by, his hand briefly touched mine, slipping something into my hand.

I frowned slightly, turning to look back.

Hoseok just stared at me with sad eyes.

Looking away, I tucked the note into my pants pocket where it would be forgotten...

But never not found.
