'Taehyung'

"Namjoon."

"Hm?" Namjoon turned towards Taehyung as he lit up his cigarette.

They were resting along the wall of the burnt out building (the place where the drugs were produced and sold).

"If you were reborn, what kind of life would you be living?" He raised an eyebrow and tilted his head Namjoon's way.

Namjoom turned to him, thinking deeply about what the younger asked.

"I'd find everyone again."

Taehyung nodded, understanding what he meant. For namjoon wouldn't be the Namjoon he knew if he went through anything any different.

"I'd make sure everyone was happy." Taehyung whispered.

"My mom, Hari, even my..."

Taehyung choked up, blinking away the tears.

If I was different...

If I had done something...

Would my parents have been happier?

"Can you make sure Hari finishes school?" Taehyung asked suddenly. "If something happens, ensure that Hari is taken care of. Please."

Namjoon stared at Taehyung before slowly closing his eyes, a smile appearing on his face to try and change the tone of the conversation.

"You promised her you'd do everything-"

"To protect her. It's always her." Taehyung cut off Namjoon with seriousness.

"Right." Namjoon nodded as he kicked himself off the wall, throwing the cigarette to the ground where he ashed it out.

"Namjoon, why do you do this?" Taehyung was curious about his friend. He knew Namjoon was a good person and he wasn't selling drugs just because. Sometimes you had to do what you had to do.

"Why? Do you think I have a sob story? I just live like this. Simple as that.'

Taehyung smiled at him.

Namjoon looked up at the sky before revealing more, "I want to help all the youngsters around the world."

"So they don't live like us." He says before slipping on his gas station uniform.

Taehyung smiled before tagging Namjoon and running away from him, Namjoon chasing behind with his jacket not fully on.

So you don't live like us,

I will sacrifice.
