Chapter 3 (edited)
Jason was on his horse, Tempest, with the king's army looking for his older sister. Of course, Jason thought he knew where to find Thalia. He just needed to fool his parents because he knew for a fact, that if he had an idea of where find her, their father would storm there in an instant and bring Thalia home.
But of course, his father didn't send the army because he was worried about his only daughter, that he loved so much. Nope! And Jason knew that. In fact, he absolutely hated the real reason Zupiter wanted to find Thalia.
*FLASHBACK*
Jason basically flew to his parents' room, he was running so fast. None of the royal guards on duty were able to catch him.
He slammed the doors open, only pausing to catch his breath as one does lose it when sprinting, causing Zupiter and Hera to jolt awake and sit up questionably.
"Thalia's missing," was the first thing out of Jason's mouth. But to his dismay, but not shock, Zupiter brushed what his youngest child had said away.
"Calm down Jason. She's-" Jason, sighing exasperatedly while rolling his eyes, pulled his father's arm, causing Hera to groan and follow too.
When they arrived at the eldest Grace's sleeping chambers, the guard said following opened the doors. Everyone, but Jason slightly gasped when they noticed the empty bed.
Hera elegantly glided over to the bedside table, (where Jason refolded the note beforehand) and picked up the ransom note. She exclaimed, with an obvious to everyone but the king, fake look of empathy, "She was kidnapped! By Luke Castellan, and he's requesting 100 drachmas each for him and his entire crew!" Jason, knowing his father and stepmother well, already knew what their real reason for worry was.
If Jason was honest he thought the only reason Hera hadn't kicked Thalia out already was that as the eldest child she'd inherit the kingdom. Unless she's was wedded to another kingdom of Greece, then Jason would inherit the kingdom. Sadly unbeknownst to Jason, he wasn't far from the truth.
Zupiter ran towards the letter to ensure that Hera wasn't lying, as she often was. She wasn't. He instantly demanded all of his armies to go search for his daughter, when Hera stopped him by using her common sense for her husband, and saying it was too early or late to go searching. So they would search at first daylight. "I'll go check and see if Aunt Arty, has heard from her when they-"
"No Jason you will be leading the Alpha army."
Jason started to argue but stopped when realizing it was pointless. "Yes, Father," he said dejectedly.
*FLASHBACK ENDS*
That night Jason snuck out of his shared tent and loaded his horse. He set off, in the opposite direction of the army. He wasn't completely sure where he was going, he figured he would just ask around.
Five hours later daylight was breaking, and Jason still hadn't found his favorite sister.

Percy was in an argument with his second-best friend. Grover Underwood. They were arguing about two things. Ok, fine, Grover was arguing about two things. Percy became hard at hearing when the second topic was brought up.
"I'm just saying Perce, is it a good idea to be dating your crew's second in command?" Obviously, Grover was concerned for his friend. He'd been the first person Percy went to since Sally's death. He had never seen Percy so... chipper, since then. He was only worried for Percy. It didn't seem normal for Percy to bounce back so quickly.
Sure, he had five years to recover, but this was Percy. It should still be "fake smiles and laughter" not, "real smiles and laughter" for at least another two years.
Grover has also been the first (besides Silena) to know about the kiss. He already didn't trust Luke. He just wasn't trustable in Grover's opinion. So, of course, he didn't approve of the kiss, let alone their relationship.

She saw tempest when she woke up. She didn't see the rider, mind you. But she knew the horse well enough to definitely know the rider.
Anyway, she started packing some of Percy's old clothes for herself. She thought about grabbing food before remembering how old it would be. And moldy. She went back to Sally's room, avoided looking down, and grabbed money amongst other things. When she moved out of Sally's room she's decided to wash up. If the water wasn't moldy.
It was though and, to herself, she said out loud, "Casse." She quickly opened and closed the front door. Then she dashed as fast as she could towards the morning crowd, pulling her hood up.
But she didn't see the figure watching her from behind Tempest.
