I crawled out the window with my bag in my arms, greeted with fresh air. Climbing down a tree, I saw Nathan climbing down."Ready?" I asked."I came to tell you I can't do this. I'm sorry, please keep in contact with me though." He tells me, almost crying. "Oh um, okay. I will I promise." I say as I tear up. He wraps me in a hug. "Come visit at night please?" He asked. I nodded and broke away from the hug. "I love you." I said as I watched him climb up the tree that leads to his room. "I love you too. Text me when you get a new phone." He tells me as he stops at his window. "Okay." I promise as I watch him close his window. I silently cry as I trudge away from my childhood home.

I reached the tree, avoiding cops who are patrolling. Thankfully no one saw me. I saw Taaliya's small figure standing under The tree."Hey." I said, getting her attention. "I thought Nathan was coming?" She asked. "He couldn't do it."

"Angel, we're still going to California?" She asked."Yup, Florida to Cali." I said. We climbed in and got situated."We're gonna be in here for a while." She laughs. "Yup. Better get comfy up front bro." I said. I'm in the back by my self. I laid down across the seats as she started the truck."I should have chosen the back." She laughed."Well, you didn't. You're driving so deal with it." I smiled. I closed my eyes listening to the soft rumble of the truck, I drifted off to sleep shortly after.

"Angel, time to wake up." I heard. My eyes fluttered open and I saw I was greeted with the sign saying Welcome to Texas."We're in Texas? How long was I asleep?" I asked."The whole morning." She answered from the drivers seat."You're driving next." She continues. I nodded. Checking the time, it was 2:34 pm. I would be getting out of school by now."I wonder what our parents are doing?" I said."Mines probably fighting with my siblings." Taaliya said."Mom probably doesn't care." I said.

Entering, Dallas Texas.

"We're stopping at my friend's house. My parents are trying to reach out." Taaliya said, looking at the screen."Crap." I mumbled."I told my friend that we're picking up we'd switch out,as long as we take him to Cali with us. He needs to get back but to lazy to book a flight to Cali." She said. I rolled my eyes. "How far away is his house?" He asked."About, 100 miles away. Which you're driving." She said. I drive faster than others, just so our parents don't show up."Great, we'll be there in like, 20 minutes with my driving." I say.

He pulled over at a gas station. Taaliya went for snacks and I sat there, in the drivers seat. She joins me up front after she finishes. "Taaliya, You're the co-Pilot You're not falling asleep." I said laughing."That's fine." She said as she turned on the Radio.

"And I say to people that's my lady. And we don't need nothing else." It sang.

"Oh my god! I love them." Taaliya shouted."Chillax." I said."You know that band I like? Why Don't We? This is them. Oh my god Jonah!" She said, singing who ever is Jonah's part."You know, the guy who's singing right now is Dallas at the moment. He lives here." She said."I don't listen to them. Sorry." I shrugged."I know, you listen to 5 Seconds Of Summer." She laughed."Have you seen Calum? Australians are hot." I said. She simply laughed as another song played.

"And we're here." Taaliya said, she's in charge of navigating. But the built in GPS did the job. "Kyle!" She giggled as she got out. They talked among them selves as I stood awkwardly beside the truck.

"Kyle, this is my bestie." She said."That's Angel." She continued."Nice to meet you." I smiled. "Same too you." He smiled at me."Okay, so. We should get going." Taaliya said. We nodded and Kyle showed us to his van, where theirs much more space."It's bigger than a Mini Van. You'll have plenty of room." He said as he climbed into the drivers seat."Thank god." I said as I lifted my self into the van. "Yo, Angel you got a blanket?" Taaliya asked as he climbed in to the seat in front of me."No." I lied."I saw you using it in the truck. Give it." She said turning around."Bruh. I'm going to use it not you." I said. She huffed and turned back around."Fine, I'll use my sweatshirt." I said as I handed it to her. "Thank you! I'll pay you back. I promise." She smiled as she covered her body with it. I threw on my sweatshirt and got comfortable as we drove.

After about 5 hours, it got dark.

I looked up at the stars as he drove. Soon enough, I fell back asleep.

I'm guessing we drove all the way through, because when I woke up, we were in Los Angeles."So, you guys can stay at my apartment. But I'm inviting my friends over when we get there."Can I take a shower first?" I asked."Yeah sure." He replied. I smirked and lifted my self so I was near Taaliya's sleeping figure. I flicked her cheek."Angel, I swear to god. Stop it." She mumbled. I huffed and laid back down."Grumpy." I mumbled."What'd you say?" She asked, looking back at me."Fight me. That's what I said." I said."Y'all shut up, we're here." Kyle said. I groaned and got out.

"Welcome, make your selves comfortable. I'm gonna go call my friends." He says as he grabs something from the mantle. I nodded and sat down on the couch. Taaliya was talking to her self and I thought to my self. "Girl, we need phones." I said. "Yeah you do. I'll call a Uber." Kyle said as I grabbed my bags and looked for my Laptop. Can't track if they don't know you have it. "Okay let's go." I said as I made sure no one could see it. "I got you guys, my friends will meet us there I guess." Kyle said as he grabbed his phone and texted what I think was a group chat between his friends, then called an Uber.

"Okay, let's head down." He said, I nodded and followed them down, walking a few steps behind them. "Wait I have tiny legs." I said as I jogged towards them. Kyle laughed at me and knelt down. "Hop on, I got you." He said. I crawled on and waited to get outside. Then Uber was there when we got there. We got in and talked about random things.  After about, 10 minutes we got there. "Is that- Oh My God it is!" Taaliya said. "That's Jonah Marais! And Jack Avery!" She whisper-shouted. "Yo! Kyle, there you are!" Two boys shouted, then jogged towards us, the ones she was talking about. She leaned over and whispered, "Oh my god! Jonah Marais is right in front of me!" I laughed at her enthusiasm. "Where's the other three?" Kyle asked. There's more? Oh god. "Corbyn's looking at games, Daniel's looking for instruments, and Zach is looking at shoes." The curly one said. The tall one nodded. "Angel plays the Bass Guitar!" Taaliya said. I looked down at her. "Who's that?" The tall one said. I shyly rose my hand. "That's exactly what Daniel's looking for, can you help him?" The curly one said. "Sure, what's your name again?" I asked. "Oh! I'm Jack, and this giant is Jonah." He said. "Nice to meet you." I said as I walked towards where I thought the music store was. "Uh, I kinda need help." I said. "Oh yea- hold on I'm sorry." Jonah said, cut off by his phone going off. He fished it out of his pocket. "Oh hey Zach, we're in the food court with Kyle. You're lost? Zach, you're a idiot." He said, laughing. "We're on our way." He said hanging up. "Zach's lost. We gotta help him too." He laughed. We laughed and followed him.

"Guys! There you are!" A blonde came running up. "Corbyn, meet Angel and Taaliya!" Kyle said. I waved and he waved back. His eyes are cool. "Where'd you get your shoes?" I asked. They were converse. "You like Converse! Oh my god follow me!" He said and beckoned me to follow him. "Actually, we need her to help Daniel." Jack said. "Daniel Shamule." He said. "I saw him earlier, he's looking at guitars." He said. "We know, Angel plays the Bass Guitar." Jonah said. "Oh, makes sense. After we get you some shoes, we'll help Daniel." Corbyn said. "Fine." Jack said as they followed us to the converse place. "And here we are!" Corbyn said. I looked around and saw my favorite pair back home. "Oh my god, my artistic one from back home! The ones with splats of paint." I said as I dragged Taaliya with. I looked at the wall and saw a sign saying, Now Hiring! See cashier for applications!

"I could get a job here too." I said. "Yup. Oh crap! We still gotta find Zach." Jack said. "I'll find him, what store is he near?" Taaliya asked. Of course. "He said he's near Hot Topic." Jonah said, checking his phone. "I love that place." I said, walking to the cashier. "Hi, can I have a application please?" I asked. "Of course love." She said. I smiled as she pulled one out, then handed it to me. "We told Zach where we are, he's on his way." Jonah said. I grabbed and pen from the cup and worked in it. "Kyle? What's your address?" I asked. He told me and I copied it. "Okay, I need a phone so who wants to come with after we help Daniel?" I asked."Me!" A guy said walking in. "Oh sorry thought you were Christina." He said. I furrowed my eyebrows. Damn he's beautiful. "Zach! What took you so long?" Jack asked. "Y'all were supposed to help me. Yet I was still lost half a hour later. Plus I ran into a pole and then I stood there for a while."He said, shrugged. I laughed and asked the question again. "I'll still go." Zach said. I nodded and followed them out with my application. "I'm gonna go to Hot Topic later. Asking for a application too." I said to Taaliya. She was freaking out, walking next to Jonah. "Taaliya right?" He asked. "Yes, big fan." She smiled. I laughed and walked towards Zach, gonna get to know a god himself. "I'm Angel." I smiled as he turned to me. "I'm Zach." He said, smiling at me. "So-." He said but was cut off by him self. He ran into a pole. I laughed and helped him up.

"Sorry, I'm really clumsy." He said, laughing at himself. "Don't worry, I am too." I laughed. "Zach be leaving his mark." Taaliya said. "Oh my god. Quit with that." I laughed at our inside joke. She got glue on me in 7th grade and it looked like a bite mark, and my boyfriend at the time's name was Ian, so she said,"Ian be leaving his mark."

"Anyways, do you sing?" He asked. "Yeah actually, I'm in Band at my - old school, and I played Clarinet. In my free time I played the Bass Guitar and learned 5 Seconds Of Summer songs and sang along." I laughed. "5 Seconds Of Summer is amazing." He said. "I know right! I need a Bass Guitar too." I said, mentally adding it to my list. We have a extra one at home, Daniel never uses it. He says it doesn't sound right. Not in," he paused. "In tune." I said. "Yes, forgot the word."
