A couple hours later, it was my birthday.

"Happy Birthday!" Zach shouted. I looked around sleepily. "Zach, it's too early for this." I mumbled. "Baby, it's 8 am. Your usual wake up time." He laughed. I sighed and sat up. Zach had Noah in his arms and surprisingly, Noah was dressed and looked decent. "You dressed Noah?" I asked. Zach excitedly nodded and looked at his son in awe. He was dressed exactly like Zach, chains hanging from his waist. "He looks exactly like you." I smiled. Zach excitedly smiled and placed Noah on the bed. "Go to Momma!" He excitedly said as Noah crawled towards me. I gently grabbed him and hugged him. "Hi baby boy!" I said before kissing his cheek. "Get ready! I'm taking you out today." Zach said as he took Noah and retreated downstairs. I groaned as I got out of bed.

I figured it was casual so I threw on some ripped blue jeans, a white top, and a pink jacket with my pink converse. Brushing my teeth and hair, I got ready for the day. "I'm ready!" I said as I jumped down the stairs. "You look great." Zach says as he looked up from Noah on the couch. "Now come on!" Zach says as he gets up from the couch and with Noah in his arms and grabs the keys to the Jeep. We make our way outside after locking everything up. "Where are we going?" I asked Zach as he put Noah in his car seat. "We're going to breakfast." Zach says as he finishes buckling Noah in and gets in the car with me. "Okay." I simply said and looked out the window as we drove.

After a while we arrive at IHOP. We get out and get a table. Zach and I ordered for the three of us and waited. As we waited, we talked about how we met and how far we've come. "Remember our first fight? That killed me." Zach groaned as he grabbed my hand from across the table. "Me too, it hurt like hell. I must have cried for hours." I said. "Me too, I couldn't stand the feeling that I made you cry. I'm sorry, baby." He softly says. "Zach, you apologized years ago. I'm over it." I said as I gently stroked his hand with my thumb on my other hand. "I know, but I'm still sorry."

After a lovely breakfast, we went to the mall. Zach and I took Noah to a small book shop in the store and looked for books I liked. Noah was playing with his toy keys in Zach's arms. We eventually found a couple books I liked and bought them, then moved on to another store. "Hey can we go look at bass guitars? I haven't played my bass in years. It's still in my old house." I softly said, referring to my old house in North Carolina where I still lived with my mom. I wonder if she got rid of it. "You think she got rid of it?" I asked. My dad told me he was moving back to North Carolina and he said he moved back into the house but my mom moved out, stating she didn't want to live there because all my stuff was still there.

"I don't think so, didn't your dad say she didn't touch your stuff?" He asked. I nodded. "I'll just ask my dad to send it up or I'll go down to get it." I shrugged and looked around the mall. "Want to get some lunch?" He asked as he played with Noah. "Sure." I softly said as I followed him. "You okay?" He asked as we walked to the food court. "I just don't get why my mom hates me so much. I don't understand what I did to her. She loves all my other siblings." I sniffed. "Hey, Hey, baby. She's crazy for not loving you. You're the best girl I've ever met. Your laugh is the cutest thing ever, your eyes shine when you get happy, and your genuine smile lights up the room. Don't let her drag you down, baby." He said as he stopped and placed his hand on my arm. "Thank you, I really needed that." I told Zach. He smiled and kissed me softly. "Okay, let's go get some lunch." I smiled and pulled away. He grabbed my hand and lead me to the food court.

We got home late at night. Noah was passed out so we both went up to his room. I was going through my feed on Instagram that was a screenshot of Kay at the I Don't Belong In The Club music video. (No hate towards Kay, she's a literal queen.)

"Was Kay at the I Don't Belong In The Club music video set?" I softly asked. Zach looked back at me as he placed the blanket over Noah. "Yeah, and what's the problem?" He growled. Wow, it was just a simple question. "I was just wondering, Jesus." I scowled as I walked out of Noah's room. I stomped to Zach and I's shared room. "Why do you care?" Zach asked he joined me in our room. "Well maybe I'm just worried because my boyfriend's ex was at his music video instead of me!" I growled as I threw my phone at my bed. "You were at work and Noah was at daycare!" He shouted back. "Noah is sleeping, he doesn't need to hear us fighting!" I whisper-shouted at him. He simply rolled his eyes at my comment.

"I could care less about that girl in that one scene, I care about Kay! You and her had history!" I started, tears threatening to spill over my face. He hates to see me cry, yet he makes me cry. "I invited her to catch up! I don't see why you're overreacting, it's not a big deal." He rolled his eyes. "Why didn't you tell me then?" I asked. He stayed quiet. "You know what, I don't want to know." I cried. "We didn't do anything, you can ask Tate." He quietly said. "Does Taaliya know she was there?" I asked. "Yes, Jonah told her."

"Then why didn't you tell me?" I sobbed. After I said this, I heard cries in the room beside ours. "I got him." I glared as I passed. I pushed hair out of my now wet face and walked into Noah's room. "Shh, you're okay baby boy, it's okay." I softly said, still crying. Noah reached up and wiped a falling tear from my eye. "Thank you." I silently cried as I heard the front door slam close and a car door open then close, followed by it pulling out of the driveway. He left on my birthday.

"You know what, we're going to North Carolina."
