-3 months later-

Zach and I were sleeping soundly when we heard a cry in the middle of the night. I immediately jumped out of Zach's grasp and started for my door. "Babe, lay down. I got him." Zach says as he lays me back down and starts for Noah's room. I nodded and laid my head back down. Soon enough, I heard Noah's soft cries die down. Not being able to sleep, I slowly get out of bed and follow Zach's footsteps to Noah's nursery. As I peek in, I see Zach sitting on the rocking chair with Noah on his chest and singing softly. I smiled at the two of them. "Is he okay?" I whispered. Zach stopped singing and looked up. "Yeah, he's fine." He nodded and got up to put him back in his crib. Noah woke up and started crying again. "I guess he doesn't want to sleep in his crib tonight." I told Zach. He nodded and held Noah close to his chest. "He can sleep with us tonight." Zach said and I nodded.

I was sitting on the ground with Noah in between my legs as he played with his toys in his room as Zach was at the studio with the boys. Paw Patrol was on TV as Noah played with his toys. Zach was texting me the whole day, it was now 6 pm.

Zach❤️: i'm on the way home, see u soon.

Me: okay, drive safe

I set my phone down and watched Noah play. He brought a car up to my face. I smiled at him and played with him. I heard the door downstairs open and it close.

"I'm home!" Zach shouted throughout the house. "Upstairs!" I shouted back. Noah continued to play as I set the toy down. "Hey!" Zach exclaimed as he peeked his head in. "Dada!" Noah exclaims. I looked up at Zach in shock. Zach's face had the same expression as mine did. That was Noah's first word!

"Did he-?" Zach asks, them hugs Noah. "Oh my god." He whispers as he rocks Noah in his arms. Noah giggles and hugs him back. "I love you." Zach softly says and kisses him on the head. I smile at the two of them and get up off my spot on the ground beside Noah's crib. "How was the studio?" I asked Zach as we go downstairs. "It was good, we're releasing a new song tomorrow, on your birthday." He smiles. "You're kidding." I smile. "Nope, and you're waiting until it comes out." He jokes. "Oh come on!" I laugh. Noah looks around and then lays his head on his father's shoulder. "I left some dinner for you if you want some, I made some Chicken and Mashed Potatoes." I told him as he slowly rocked. He nodded and softly sang to Noah. "We got some chipotle at the studio, thanks though." Zach softly said as he realized Noah was drifting off. "No problem." I said as I grabbed a water bottle and walked into the living room with Zach following. Zach sat on the couch and placed Noah on his chest so he could sleep peacefully. I sat beside him and laid my head on the other side of his chest as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"I love you, our little family, everything." Zach softly says. "I love you too." I say as I see Noah was asleep peacefully. "Do you want me to take Noah upstairs for you?" I asked Zach. "No, it's okay. I got him." Zach says as he slowly gets up with Noah in his arms. Noah doesn't wake up the whole time Zach returns him to his crib. Not long after, Zach returns with his guitar. "Wanna sing a couple songs?" He asks. I excitedly nod as he sits down with his knee over my lap. "Should we go live?" I asked. He nodded and set his phone up on our coffee table.

"Our song?" He asked. I smiled and nodded as I placed my hand on his knee. He started playing the chords to Superhero by Lauv.

Zach and I smiled at each other as we finished. Hiding my blush, I laid my head on his knee. Zach chuckled and placed his guitar down. I bet everyone got our little singing session on their phones now because of screen recording. "I love you." Zach smiled and lifted my head up. "I love you too." I laughed and laid on him. He ended the live after a few minutes. Looking at the time it was now 8 pm. "I feel like a total grandma for saying this, but I'm tired." I whined as I looked up at him. "Well let's get you to bed." He said as he helped me up and led me to our bedroom upstairs.

"Your birthdays tomorrow." He said as he picked out pajamas for me. I sat on our bed, drowsily staring at the wall. "Yep, officially turning 21." I muttered. He softly threw one of his old shirts at me and some shorts. I tiredly changed into them and laid in bed. Zach followed after he changed into old soccer shorts he had from his soccer years. Zach wrapped his arms around my waist from behind me and held me close to him. "Goodnight." He softly said as I drifted to sleep.
