We stayed in Texas for about a week, but returned before any of the other couples.

"So, I was thinking. Maybe I could make the Christmas dinner?" I told the group. We were all crowded around the TV watching vines. "Yeah sure, you've always been the good cook." Taaliya says taking a swig of her soda. All the couples were cuddled up on the couch, while Zach and I were on opposite sides of the couch. We're not in a fight, just trying to not draw attention to us.

"Ya know, I kinda miss you and Zach together. I mean all the cuteness was blah. But you guys were adorable together." Taaliya points out. Oh only if you knew.

"There's no beef between us, were still friends you know." Zach laughs. "And there's still a chance we'd get back together I guess." I joke. Zach widened his eyes and looked at me. "Bitch." Taaliya said looking between us. "You guys are together again aren't you." She continues. She squeals as the group cheers. "Bruh, we're not together." I lie. Everyone stops and looks up at us, confused. Zach agrees. "Oh."

I grab my phone and click on Zach's name.

Maybe on Christmas, it's only two days away?

Zach didn't respond, but he nodded at me.

•Christmas Eve•

"Good morning!" I yelled walking into my living room. We gathered at my place because it's the largest and has the most room to run around, and I'm the one with a large kitchen for dinner tomorrow night.

Zach smiled at me as I laughed at Jack falling off the couch because of Hailey, who was currently making weird noises. "Y'all wanna watch some movies?" I questioned. They all agreed and started picking out a movie on Netflix. "Hey, where's the bathroom?" Zach says, even though he knows where it is. Just to cover the secret.

"Up the stairs to the left." I reply. He nods and runs up the stairs, giving me a look before he runs up. "Hey guys I'm gonna go and grab some blankets, be right back." I tell the group. They nod and I run up the stairs. I open my door and see Zach sitting on my bed. "I literally thought you were going to use the bathroom." I laughed as I closed the door behind us. He looks up at me with his large brown eyes, showing something was wrong.

"What's wrong, Baby?" I asked. "Do you know how hard it is to refrain from touching you? I didn't think I was that hard, but holy shit it is. Your soft pink lips are making me crazy, and your blue eyes lit up when you saw me. Oh my god I love you." He says as he sets me in front of his sitting figure. I giddily smile and kiss him.

"Hey Angel- What the hell." Taaliya says as she bursts into my room. "I can explain." I exclaimed as I stepped towards her. "Explain what? That you and Zach are back together and you didn't bother to tell me? Your own best friend?" She exclaims as she backs down the stairs. I hurriedly followed her.

"Please, let me explain." I shout behind her as we run past the group and out the door. "Why didn't you tell me? I would have been happy for you." She exclaims as she turns back around abruptly, making me almost run into her. "I was afraid! I was afraid you'd judge me for getting back with my ex, I was afraid, and I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner." I answer. "How long?" She asks. Zach joins us and so does the others outside. Jonah stands behind Taaliya and holds her. Zach doesn't touch me just in case, but stands right behind me. "Four months..." I trail off.

"And you didn't tell any of us?" She cries. I did this, I'm such a terrible best friend. "I'm not mad about the relationship, I'm mad that you didn't tell me." She continues. "I'm sorry, I felt like you guys didn't trust us, when we're together before you guys wouldn't even let us be alone for a minute." I cried. Tears streamed down my face, and I didn't stop them. "Why didn't you just tell me that?" She asks as she steps closer to me. "I was afraid you'd hate me for it." I cry. "I could never hate you." She says as she hugs me. "I'm sorry." We both say. We pull away soon after. "Zachary you better not hurt my best friend." She exclaims as she wipes her tears away, backing into Jonah. "Didn't plan on it." He smiles as he pulls me into his chest. He kisses my head and I lay my head on his chest.

"See, this is exactly why I missed you guys together. Y'all were cute." Taaliya laughs. I smile and lead everyone back inside.

When we sat down, Zach pulled a blanket over us and we started watching the movie.
