You scoff at the TV as the reporter continues to ramble on about the murder scene.

"If the police actually investigated properly there wouldn't have been another murder"- Y/N

You turn off the TV and head to your kitchen to grab a glass of water.

All the news these days have been about the murders that continue to pop out of no where.

The police think everything is related, but you think this is all bullshit.

There is no evidence to defend that claim and none to say it isn't a possibility.

You're tired of the police and just want them to get this all over with.

You've been staying at home since the first case happened and by now this is all getting tiring.

Pizza is your best friend nowadays as your brother won't even let you step a foot out of the house.

He thinks you could be next, and sure that is a possibility, but staying at home for days with nothing to do isn't something you want to do.

Sometimes you think even taking the risk of death is better than nothing.

But of course you should listen to your brother because you know what could happen. Lucas is strict and you know that.

Just forget about all the parties your being invited to and your boyfriend that keeps asking about where you've gone. And then staying home can be easy.

And yes you've thought about having your own party and inviting your boyfriend over, but Lucas thinks you might bring the murder to yourself that way.

Yes he thinks your boyfriend could be a murder, but that's his best friend so you don't understand.

Yet again he invites him over, but with you locked up in your room.

So for now you just need to wait for it all to end to get back to going out with friends and your boyfriend.

Or maybe you should just leave now.

Leave home when Lucas is asleep and meet up with your boyfriend.

Sounds like plan, but not really.

Getting through Lucas is harder than it seems.

He might fall asleep, but that doesn't mean he won't hear you leave.

He might not hear, but the security in our house sure will.

So how do you go through with sneaking out?

Well you'll disable the security through Lucas's phone and make sure he's listening to his asmr while sleeping.

And most important tell your boyfriend not to tell Lucas anything.

And maybe then will you sneak out successfully.

Just like everything was planned you made it out.

Nothing went wrong and all you had to do know was wait for your boyfriend to pick you up.

You stared at your phone like crazy.

Why isn't he texting back?

You stood outside in the cold with nothing but the t-shirt and ripped jeans you choose to wear.

You would've brought a hoodie, but the only ones you had were the ones your boyfriend gave you.

And sadly you had none at this moment.

The 7-eleven sign shined brightly, lighting the street. You looked inside the store seeing no one, but the cashier in the front and a girl talking to him while a man roamed the back.

You looked through your text from earlier just to insure you had agreed on him picking you up.

He did.

2am he said.

You both agreed that you would meet him at the front of 7-eleven. He would pick you up and you guys would go wherever.

You pressed his contact again letting the phone ring. After you heard the third ring you had already gave up, but he answered.

He really did.

"Where are you?"- Y/N

"I'm at the cafè were we usual go to"- Boyfriend

"Why are you there? We agreed that you would pick me up at 7-eleven"- Y/N

"Oh shit, I'm sorry Y/N. I'll go pick you up now"- Boyfriend

"No, it's okay I'm near it anyways I'll walk there. Just wait for me"- Y/N

"Okay I'll see you there"- Boyfriend

You hung up the phone and put it your back pocket.

You looked back into the store the boy on the phone with someone as the girl stayed near him.

You heard a car coming along the way and took that as your cue to get going.

You started walking to the cafè which really only was three minutes away.

You walked into the cafè noticing your boyfriend sitting at the table near one of the windows.

You smiled as you walked towards the table.

He greeted you with a smile as he stood up to give you a hug.

"I've missed you Y/N"

"I've missed you too Ten"- Y/N

"Where have you been? You wouldn't answer any of my texts and then you weren't home when I came over"- Ten

"Lucas has been keeping me at home because of the murdering. He wants me to stay safe so I've been locked up in my room"- Y/N

"This whole time I thought you've been avoiding me, but really Lucas is scared of you getting murdered? He knows that wouldn't happen to you"- Ten

You laughed as you thought he was joking about the last bit.

Time had passed so easily as you guys stayed together.

You both were about to leave, you stood beside the table as Ten paid for the drinks.

People always talk about there stories about witnessing a crime scene and how it looked normal until everything collapsed.

And that's just how it was.

The first gun shot striked as it hit the menu at the front of the cafè.

You instantly bent down as another gun shot hit.

Ten was still at the front as he looked at you back and forth with the five men holding guns.

You never knew Ten carried a gun on him until he had pulled it out shooting back.

You assumed he had shot one down after you heard a grunt from someone with a big thud following.

Ten had taken the chance and went to you, placing you behind him.

He held you close to him as he shot another man.

Soon more gun shots were heard.

More of them were there, but they weren't alone.

Multiple of them were shot down.

You assumed it was the police, but there weren't any sirens outside.

There was just other people and one of them happened to look exactly like Lucas.

Ten had pulled you out through the back of the cafè and put you in his car.

He got into the driver's seat and started to drive off.

"Y/N you alright? You weren't hurt right?"- Ten

"No I'm fine, just shocked"- Y/N

He had stopped driving and pulled into a gasoline station.

He looked over at you making sure you really weren't injured.

He pulled you into a hug and gave you kiss on your forehead.

He waited for you both to calm down from the situation you both were just in.

He had this look in his eye unfamiliar to you, but so familiar as well.

His heart was still racing, the beat was unsteady and maybe this was the cause of the words he said, but holy shit was he not going crazy?

Because nobody in there right mind would say this if they knew Lucas.

"I know Lucas might kill me for this, but Y/N I'm taking you to my house"- Ten
