when joyce byers got pregnant with twins her and her husband, lonnie byers, were going through a rough patch. & by the end of the pregnancy they had already agreed that they were separating. after will & lorelei were born lonnie & joyce made an agreement. lonnie would take lorelei, & joyce would take the boys. it really didn't make sense to people, but they were about ready to choke eachother out. on march 15, a week before the twins' 14 birthday, lorelei went snooping around the house and found something. she was glad she did.

NOTES!

❁ Lorelei knows nothing about Joyce or the boys. Because Lonnie said that her mother wanted nothing to do with them. So she didn't know.

❁ When she's snooping she finds a picture of Joyce, Jonathan, & Will standing in front of a house with an address on the back with a note. 'If you want to come visit the boys'

❁ Lonnie finds her snooping but she hides the picture behind her back.
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Nothing daddy"
Because lets be honest Lonnie is that creep dad who makes their daughter call them Daddy.

❁ She can't stop thinking about the picture.

❁ She decides she's gonna runaway to hawkins to meet her mom & brothers

❁ when she gets to the door step will opens the door. Asks who she is. She answers. He brings her inside. Makes Joyce explain.

❁ Joyce is crying of happiness

❁ On the twins' birthday Will brings her to meet his friends. Mike is an ass. Will & mike fight. Rory (her nickname) says she'll just go & hopes he has a good time. Will is still pissed at Mike.

❁ instead of asking Jonathan for a ride home she walks. Goes into a store and buys cake mix & icing and stuff. Makes her & Will a cake for their birthday. Nobody gets home till like super late. Rory is passed out on the couch. Everyone feels bad.

❁ Rory is verh independent, because she had to learn to take care of herself because, come on. Lonnie being a good, caring dad *laughs psychotically*
