théo bernard was one of the only people in the small town in hawkins that could speak a different language. he spoke french. he had lived in france for 3 years before moving to hawkins, indiana. where he met his best friend will byers, along with mike wheeler, dustin henderson, lucas sinclair. along with jane hopper/eleven, & max mayfield a couple years later. but will was special. théo was in love with will the whole time but never noticed it, until the start of their freshman year. will & théo have gotten bullied almost their whole life for being 'queer'. but it hurt more because everyone was right. they were gay. everyone would say that they were dating, or that they should go to fairyland together. what they didn't know is that they would be dating sooner or later.

NOTES!

➝ Will gets vvvvv frustrated with Théo when he won't tell him what it means

➝ Je T'Aime translates to I Love You (i hope)

➝ You can choose if Théo speaks french often or not. If he does sometimes he does it when he gets frustrated but he does it on purpose just to annoy the party.

➝ Will is vvv special to Théo and is different from Mike, Dustin, & Lucas. Sure he loves all of them just in a different way.

➝ Théo dismisses it as just hormones when he starts to notice Will in a different way.

➝ When he's for sure he starts saying je t'aime to Will. Because 1) He can say I love you & 2) Because Will doesn't know what the hell he's saying.

➝ Eventually Will does find out what it means (by researching) & starts to get awkward around Théo.
"Qu'est-ce qui ne va pas? I mean, what's wrong?"

*théo's eyes widen & he panics in gay*
"What?"
"I know what it means"

➝ Théo will avoid Will.

➝ Will realizes how much he misses Théo.

➝ When Will finds out why he misses him so much he goes to Théo
"Que viens-tu faire ici, Will? I mean; what are you doing here?"
"je t'aime tellement"
(I love you so much)
"What?"
"je t'aime tellement. It took me forever to learn how to say that so you better still love me"
