As Taehyung felt the car reach to a halt, he opened the door and walked out. Walking straight ahead and opening a door. Unaware of where he was actually headed to. Jungkook was also silently following him, waiting for the other to realize their surrounding. As soon as a bell chimed, Taehyung was out of his world and into the real one.

He looked around to realize that he actually wasn't home, but in a café. He turns around to look at Jungkook. Sheepishly looking down and smiling at the ground. Taehyung crossed over his hands and tapped his foot in hopes of getting the answer from the other. when he got none, he sighed as he went to the other and held his head up.

"This doesn't look like my home to me Guks. Why are we here?" Taehyung asked. His voice wasn't stern. It wasn't like honey either. It was void of any emotions. the tone that Jungkook had always been afraid to witness. This tone meant that the other was in deep trouble but was not ready to tell anyone about it yet. He witnessed this three years back Taehyung planned on moving out of Seoul.

But of course, Jungkook being Jungkook, convinced the other into staying back and continuing to be with him. He almost managed to convince the other to move in with him, but right at that moment Jisoo had to walk in. all his plans shattered as Taehyung remembered his lovely sister at home and moved right back to his parents house.

"You seem kind of spaced out. I brought you here so we could talk about it." Jungkook said as he grinned but a hand went to the back of his neck in embarrassment. When he heard no reply from the other, he looked up at the other. he saw Taehyung nodding and looking around for a table. Just then Jungkook spotted one. a corner table which gave them their privacy.

He ushered the other to the said booth and had them both settled in before he gave their order. Hot chocolate and vanilla macchiato like always. The café was their regular one. Whalien 52. It was famous for its aesthetics and calm surroundings. Though it was on a buzzling street, the interior of the café was always calm and composed. It was almost magical.

"So tell me what is wrong." Jungkook said as he saw the other toying around his hot chocolate. He heard a sigh leave the other's lips. As if the other was so deep into the situation that even swimming to the shore wouldn't help. But every problem had a solution. This was according to Jungkook. There was no problem such that he couldn't solve. Not yet at least.

"I am getting married." Taehyung replied. He kept his reply as short as possible because he wanted the other to question him and not for him to barge out all the details. It isn't because he was being formal or whatever, but this was always how it worked. Jungkook just knew the right questions to ask that Taehyung wanted to answer. All the others were left unattended to.

"Why am I not invited to my own wedding?" Jungkook joked around. They had always teased each other of being married to one another. and then immediately scrunching their nose in disgust at their own ideas. But somewhere deep within them, they really wanted it to be true. but were, as always, afraid to face the truth. The truth that was supposedly bitter.

"Because it isn't yours. It is mine and Baekhyun's." Taehyung said. He looked at the other for some type of reaction but all he got was a blank face. It hurt Taehyung to be honest. That Jungkook didn't think anything about this wedding. That he was fine with the wedding as such and he wanted Taehyung to get married to a stranger as well.

Just then, he heard loud laughter erupting. He looked around to find the source, just to know that it was the person in front of him. Jungkook. Taehyung continued to watch Jungkook's fits of laughter for another five minutes until it died down. The other was literally crying because of how hard he had laughed. He calmed himself down as he wiped away the tears.

"That was a good joke. You almost got me this time." Jungkook said as he sipped onto his macchiato. He looked at the other to see his betrayed face, but was met with a serious one instead. He gulped down the macchiato before he spoke again. "Wait, you were serious?" he asked with a puzzled expression. Never in a million years had he ever imagined the other's wedding.

The thought of Taehyung getting married was always a touchy subject for Jungkook. Why? He did not know. He wanted to find out but he was afraid to face the answers. He knew it might lead to something that both of them were not ready for. Or so he thought. Now one can never correct a person's thought until it is said out loud. Who was going to tell them this though?

Taehyung only nodded his head to the other's question and turned away to face the buzzing streets of Seoul on a Friday evening. Everyone were out to enjoy their weekend. And so should he have been. But he couldn't because of his so called stupid wedding. The one he didn't even want to attend but had to because it was his own.

"But Baekhyun or his family haven't talked to you guys since forever now. why did they suddenly want this marriage out of nowhere?" Jungkook asked. He was curious as to know what the possible reason could be. He knew Taehyung had a personal beef with this family because they always used Taehyung's for their own advantage. Either to show off themselves and make Taehyung feel inferior, or to use them for their needs.

Taehyung just shook his head in answer. "If I knew, I wouldn't be sitting everywhere being spaced out." He said. His voice was very bitter. Justifiably though. who would've thought that they would end up being arranged to the one they hated with each cell in their body. no one. you wouldn't even want such a situation for your worst enemy.

"What are you going to do about it?" Jungkook asked in turn. he wanted to know if Taehyung agreed to this marriage or was he being forced into it. of course, it had be the latter. Why would Taehyung willingly marry Baekhyun. If he got the confirmation, they could maybe work out some plan to stop this wedding. Or so he thought. He thought he could make it work.

"I don't know. Nothing maybe? I don't know how to face it." taehyung said honestly. He was obviously comfortable around Jungkook to be accepting the actual deal with the marriage. He really was clueless on what to do. Or how to escape from the situation. Now that he had talked to his best friend about it, he suddenly saw a ray of hope.

Hoping that the other had an actual idea, he let a glow to his eyes as he looked at the other. the other seemed to be in thought before he spoke up. "Why don't you just talk to your parents and make your way out of it?" Taehyung sighed as an answer. He rested his head on his hands as he spoke the rest.

"I already tried to. But they wouldn't listen. I don't want to marry a stranger. And especially not Baekhyun. I don't think I am ready for a loveless marriage Jungkook." Taehyung confessed out loud. He wasn't implying anything else from his statement. But just the mere thing that Taehyung was comfortable enough around Jungkook to say the truth, did somethings to the insides of Jungkook.

"Why don't you pretend to have a boyfriend?" Jungkook asked. "Just take me along and say that I am your boyfriend. They would have to cancel the wedding right? You would be free from it." Taehyung shook his head. "That wouldn't work babes." But Jungkook didn't understand the flaw behind his specific idea, so he just looked at the other until he gave in.

"Before this, they asked me if I had one and I had told no. if I suddenly bring you along, they would know I am lying and would force me to stop talking to you. Now I don't want that. You are my paradise. I am not ready to give that up as well. They almost made me quit my job as well." Hearing Taehyung call him his paradise brought a smile to Jungkook's face. But it immediately dropped as the last sentence hit his brain.

This was serious now. how could they make Taehyung quit his job when they knew how much he loved it. he had to think of a plan before he lost Taehyung. "Why don't you just runaway with me?" he blurted out without thinking. He closed his eyes as he realized what he had just said. But he couldn't do anything about it since his thoughts were already out there for Taehyung.

"What? For once in your life be serious babe." Taehyung said as he snickered at the other's idea. At least the latter had made his smile. Though he found the idea to be silly and one that would never work out. How could he runaway from everything? What about his job? What about their friends? His sister and parents? He couldn't leave everything behind like that.

"Who says I am not serious boo? Think about it. everything would be sorted. Just pack your bags and wait for me outside your house at midnight. We will vanish off the face of earth." Jungkook spoke animatedly as his hands flew around in efforts of convincing the other. Taehyung hit the other's head as he slumped back on his seat.

"Be practical bunny. Runaway and then what? What about our job here?" Taehyung asked as he tsked at the other's hurt face. When Jungkook thought about it, Taehyung did have a point after all. Where would they go to even if they did comply to his idea. He really had hoped the other would agree and blindly come with him.

He shook his head at his own silliness. He had to stop the wedding somehow, not escape from it. Jungkook thought to himself as he looked at Taehyung. His best friend seemed to be lost in his thoughts again. When Taehyung snapped out of it, Taehyung seemed to have a small smile on his face. What was he smiling at?

"Forget about it. what is meant to happen, would happen." Taehyung said with a smile as he ruffled his best friend's hair. Jungkook seemed dumbfounded by Taehyung's action. But regardless let it off the hook as they spent their evening away talking to one another. he knew Taehyung needed his company at the moment, and he would give it. heck, he would even give his life for his best friend.
