~Story~

Born in Mine, Yamaguchi, Japan, Hideo Inoue, much like his childhood friend Mayu, was athletic in sports, but they mostly spent time together indoors, isolating themselves from society, but Hideo's father would be very abusive towards him.

However, one day, Hideo's father would come home from work to find that Inoue's mother had fixed him a dinner that he didn't want.

Instead of being grateful, the father would abuse Hideo's mother, making him run away from his father to seek solitude in the Iwatani household.

Mayu, who valued her friend more than anyone, begged her family to take him in, and the parents agreed after successfully filing a custody dispute against Hideo's father.

It turned out to be the best timing because days before, Hideo's mother had died from wounds caused by his father, making the police arrest and charge Hideo's father for domestic abuse and murder.

One day, Hideo, Mayu, and Mayu's older brother watched wrestling as the two would immediately fall in love with the sport and the two would plan to run away from home as Hideo joined the New Japan Dojo while Mayu looked to get started as the first generation of World Wonder Ring Stardom trainees.

During the first few weeks of training, Hideo would have no home, no food, not even a bed, forcing him to sleep on the cold hard ground outside the dojo while Mayu slept in a bunk bed with her newfound friends.

However, Mayu would hear about how Hideo was managing to survive, feeling outraged and talked to Rossy Ogawa, one of Stardom's founders, about letting her childhood friend live with him until he could get on his feet.

Rossy, knowing how much Hideo meant to Mayu, allowed Inoue to live with the guy, but following a few simple rules of not being allowed to bring girls into the home. He is allowed to talk to Mayu and hang out with her, but no other girls.

Inoue would agree to live with Rossy until he got started in wrestling, which made him a star instantly and over time, Rossy would soon become like a father figure to him.

However, feeling like he needed to learn more, Inoue would ask the Wrestling King himself, Minoru Suzuki, if he could join his faction, the notorious Suzuki-Gun, or Suzuki-Army, and Minoru would allow him to, seeing the potential in him after watching a few matches.

Being a member of the Gun and embracing his dark side, Hideo would conquer the competition and showing out however he could while Mayu had success of her own, as the two would be so happy for one another.

One day, Mayu and Hideo would hang out and watch wrestling, but Hideo would start to fall for his childhood friend after so many years, for all the kindness, the loyalty, and the patience she has displayed to him.

The problem is, Mayu would be dating Kai Hosako, Kaori Hosako's twin brother, diagnosed with the autism spectrum, and when Inoue sees his best friend kiss Kai in front of him, he starts to get upset and starts to question if he really loves her.

Will Mayu ever get that chance to be with him, after realizing what she did wrong?
