"Shit, shit, shit!" Billy hisses as he sees blood seeping into the blankets around (y/n), yelling out for the group to help. Steve quickly runs out of the house, dishevelled and clearly just woken up but gets snapped awake seeing Billy carrying his bleeding girlfriend.

"Shit Hargrove! What the fuck do you think you're doing!?" He hisses, running over to help him carry her into the house quietly without waking up Nancy's parents.

"What the fuck!?" Robin whispers, eyes wide as the boys brought in (y/n) to the basement. "Nancy! Wake up! Wake up goddamnit!" she shakes Nancy awake and she jolts up, jumping as Billy gently sets (y/n) down on the couch. "First Aid! We need the first aid!" Nancy mutters curses under her breath as she jumps up and runs out of the basement before coming back down with a kit. The boys were fast asleep and Steve turns around to keep his eyes on them as the girls and Billy helped (y/n).

"Darling, I need to take the gown off ok, princess raise your arms for me." Billy whispers and (y/n) nods hazily, raising her arms as he gently takes the gown off before covering her up with the blanket. The wounds had stopped bleeding momentarily, the sutures just coming undone.

"Ok, this is ok. The bleeding stopped but she needs to be stitched up again." Nancy says. "I don't know how to do that-"

"-I'll do it." Billy grabs the kit, the years of cleaning up his own wounds and stitching himself up coming in use. "Get the gauze and clips, I'll stitch her up. Someone get me a basin with water and a towel." the girls nod and move to action, bringing the equipment to him. "Princess, this is going to hurt ok. I'm sorry." Billy mutters as he looks up at (y/n) who nods weakly, cleaning up the blood with the damp towel.

"Billy..." she hums softly, getting tired and he quickly sits up straight, holding her cheeks to have her look at him.

"Stay awake darling, ok. Just stay awake for me." (y/n) nuzzles her nose against him, letting him go back to stitching her up. She grits her teeth in pain to not wake up the kids, leaning her head against her loves shoulder. Billy whispers his apologies against her neck, pressing kisses against her skin before he finished stitching her up.

"Here, I got her some change of clothes." Nancy says once Billy wrapped (y/n) up with the gauze, whispering how well she did as she looks up at him with tired eyes.

"Thanks Wheeler." he takes the clothes, helping his love change into them as the girls acted as a wall to make sure the boys didn't accidentally get a peak. "Princess, come on darling." Billy helps (y/n) stand up, getting her dressed and he moves to sit down on an armchair. He pulls his love down to lay on top of him, Robin draping a clean blanket over the couple so (y/n) could get some sleep. She cuddles into Billy's arms, hugging him tight as he wrapped his arms around her to keep her warm.

"Thank you..." she whispers as she nuzzles against his neck and he kisses her forehead.

"I'm just glad you're ok (y/n)." Billy says, brushing his fingers against her cheek as she slowly falls asleep.

"Calm down Steve-"

"-that fucking ass shouldn't have risked taking (y/n) out of the hospital like that!" Steve slams his hands down on Nancy's vanity, her and Robin trying to calm him down. "He could've hurt her a lot! She was bleeding for fucks sake!"

"Steve! Just calm down, it was wrong, yes but she's okay. We needed to make sure she doesn't get taken away." Robin says, sighing out.

"I-we could've lost her! Max too!" Nancy narrows his eyes on Steve but Robin easily picks up what was going on. "Nancy, go check on the group downstairs ok? I'll get through his thick skull." Nancy slowly nods, walking away before Robin pulls on Steve's ear and hauls his ass outside the house as he yelps in pain.

"You like (y/n)!"

"No! Where did you-no!" Steve stutters, getting Robin to let him go.

"Steve, you're a terrible liar. The worst I've ever seen. You can't lie to save your life!"

"Robin I don't like (y/n)-" the girl gives Steve a pointed look. "Forget about it ok." he rolls his eyes, quickly walking back inside the house and heading downstairs to the basement. He stops short when he sees Billy and (y/n) asleep together, frowning at how she laid on top of his chest as his arms were around her. He was jealous and angry that it wasn't him, a pang of hurt in his chest seeing (y/n) croon and lay her head underneath Billy's chin as he pressed kisses on his girlfriend's forehead. Steve shakes his head and moves to go back to his spot and get some shut-eye with the rest of the group.

The morning soon rolls around and Nancy jolts awake when she hears Eddie's voice through the walkie-talkie, him asking her to get some more food for him but she wasn't paying attention as she notices Max was gone. "Dustin!" the boy gets shaken awake by the older Wheeler sibling, Nancy asking him where Max was since he was supposed to be on watch.

"Shit!" Dustin checks his watch to see he had slept over an hour, Nancy quickly rushing upstairs and Dustin following her to see that Max was upstairs having breakfast with Holly.

This didn't make Eddie happy as he was ignored, calling out to someone to pick up the walkie talkie and Billy groans awake from the irritating voice. "Munson, shut the fuck up! We got you bags of food last time! What happened with that!?" he hisses lowly when he answers him through the walkie-talkie, trying not to wake up his sleeping girlfriend.

"I may or may not have accidentally dropped them into the lake...?"

"Billy...?" (y/n) yawns out tiredly, him cursing softly as he tried to get her to sleep again.

"What? Did I break up your beauty sleep? Some of us are starving here!" Eddie exclaims.

"We'll get you your stuff Munson!" Billy hisses lowly, setting the device down as (y/n) raises her head and rubs her eyes.

"Princess, you need to rest more."

"Ok..." (y/n) happily decides to go back to sleep on Billy who chuckles lightly, patting her head gently. He loved it when his girl was clingy with him like this, it made him feel warm and protective over her.

"Billy, (y/n), you up?" Dustin says as he peeks his head into the basement, nodding seeing the couple now awake and agitated from being awake. "Good, we need some things cleared up." Nancy, Dustin and Max walk down into the basement, the redhead frowning as she sees her sister-in-law looking so tired and weak.

"Max!" (y/n) smiles in relief to see that she was ok, her arms open for her boyfriend's sister and she hesitantly hugs her but melts into the older girls arm. "I'm glad you're ok." she whispers against Max's hair, leaning back to hold her face gently.

"I'm so sorry, for everything-"

"-don't ever be sorry for things like this Max, none of it is your fault. It's that Vecna creature." (y/n) says and she nods, moving back to place the pictures she had been drawing all night on the floor to show Billy and (y/n).

"This is what Max saw when she was in the Upside Down. We think that she might have infiltrated Vecnas Mind." Nancy starts off.

"Do you guys recognise any of this or remember anything when you both somehow transported there?" Dustin says but Nancy looks at him in shock.

"They what!?"

"Right, we didn't explain to you or Robin what happened yet." Dustin sighs, throwing pillows at the rest of the group to wake up.

"We're up! Jesus christ..." Steve groans out.

"Good cause we need to catch the girls up." Dustin exclaims.

"Right right. Billy, Max and (y/n) all got tranced into the Upside Down." Lucas yawns out

"All three of them!? Thats not possible? Is it?" Robin says, rubbing her eyes.

"It wasn't all at the same time. (y/n) got tranced with Max and then Billy got tranced when he touched (y/n)." Dustin says.

"So (y/n) was like some sort of conduit between our world and the Upside Down?" Lucas asks and his friend nods.

"It seems like it. Like a connection between both worlds."

"But why?" the adults minus Billy and (y/n) ask.

"That's what we don't know..." Dustin looks at (y/n) who was frowning at the whole situation. "Can you three tell us everything, and I mean everything." Max explains first what she went through while (y/n) desperately didn't want to explain anything. Not after what Vecna had told her.

How would the group feel?

"(y/n)." Billy whispers, catching her attention and she looks to see them waiting for her patiently.

"I..."

"We understand if its too much for you right now-"

"-its not that Steve..." (y/n) sighs out. "It's what Vecna told me..."

"What did he say?" everyone asks and (y/n) looks at Billy.

"I wasn't the one that was supposed to die at StarCourt Mall... It was supposed to be Billy... that's what he said..." Billy goes rigid, now realising why his love kept having nightmares of him dying at the mall.

"What do you mean? Why Billy? Why is he so specific about that?"

"I don't know.." (y/n) answers the kids. "It was just horrible... I went through this scene of being impaled by the Mindflayer except I really was impaled but I kept switching between my body and Billy's. That was before he found me in my grave..."

"I heard her screams and I just kept running and I helped her out before we went to look for Max." Billy says. "We heard her from this cloud of red fog and we went through it, ending up in this, exactly what she drew." he points to his sister's drawings

"There were bits and pieces of house debris or maybe debris from a building-"

"-a house!" Nancy gasps, realising what Max drew and she sorts out the papers into one full drawing of a house. "That's why it looks familiar!" she runs off to grab something.

"Ok, but how did Hargrove end up in the Upside Down with the girls?" Steve asks.

"I..." (y/n) wrings her hands together, unsure if she should say it. "The Mindflayer from the StarCourt Mall battle... I might have a bit of it or something still in me? It might be what's helped bring me back to life? I don't know..." the group was quiet, processing what they just heard when Nancy comes back with an image that was the exact same as Max's drawing.

"It's Victor Creel's house-whats going on-?

"-WHAT!?" everyone except Billy and Nancy exclaims, (y/n) jumping back in surprise.

"And I got all my memories back too if that means anything." she says and this time the whole group was in shock.

"YOU DID!?"
