"Ok, so what's the common thing between Fred and Chrissy before Vecna cursed them? How were they acting the last time anyone saw them?" (y/n) asks.

"There's definitely something strange about this place. Fred started acting weird the second we got here." Nancy says and Robin asks how. "Scared, on edge, upset."

"Munson said Cunningham seemed on edge too when they were in his trailer but she wasn't upset or-"

"-no but she was upset at the school bathrooms." Max cuts her brother off. "She was crying."

"Serial killers stalk their prey before they strike, right?" Robin asks. "So, maybe Fred and Chrissy saw this Vecman-"

"-Vecna-"

"-dunno about you, but if I saw some freaky wizard monster, I would mention it to someone." Steve sighs out and Max gasps in realisation.

"Maybe they did. I saw Chrissy leaving Ms. Kelley's office. If you saw a monster, you... you wouldn't go to the police. They'd never believe you."

"But you might go to your shrink." Billy says. "Your teacher might have something on the undead creature if the victims went to see her. A description of what they saw?"

"(y/n) did you see anything or anyone other than the Mindflayer?" Dustin asks and she shakes her head.

"No I didn't see anything else except for the Mindflayer..." she shudders and her love pulls her close, kissing the top of her head.

"Then we need to see that shrink of yours shitheel." Billy says and everyone gets up to get into their vehicles.

"Wait, what about Eddie? The police are legit a few minutes away from the shed! They could find him!" (y/n) asks.

"Good point. Hargrove, you and (y/n) should go check on Eddie and we can go to see that shrink-"

"-actually, I need to go somewhere, check something out first." Nancy cuts off Steve.

"No, who the fuck do you think you are?" Billy snaps at Steve, getting up in his face.

"Woah man back off! I'm just saying!"

"You think you're the fucking leader, ordering us around huh!?" (y/n) quickly pulls back her boyfriend before the two guys could fight, tugging him to his car.

"We'll go get some more groceries or something before checking up on Eddie!"

"Wait!" the couple pause and Billy catches the walkie-talkie Dustin throws at him. "To talk in case something happens!" (y/n) nods, everyone splitting up and getting into the cars. Steve yelled out about being the babysitter as he drove past with Dustin and Max, Nancy and Robin driving off as well. The couple got in the car, Billy starting it up when (y/n) suddenly shudders.

A weird crawling feel ran down her spine, quickly grabbing her neck at the terrible feeling. "There's something very wrong here Billy..." she says, looking out the window of the car.

"What do you mean? What is it?"

"I don't know, it just doesn't feel good..." (y/n) says, looking at the trailer until her eyes stopped on Eddies as it was surrounded by caution tape.

She felt something from that trailer, something bad. Billy looks at the trailer as well, concerned but his love shakes her head and asks him to drive which he does hesitantly. He glances at her every now an then, pursing his lips at how quiet she had gotten as listened to her music through her walkman. It had been on the entire time, not wanting to risk another episode or be trapped in the Upside Down again.

Billy takes hold of (y/n)'s hand to let her know he was there for her, holding it tight as she gives his hand a squeeze for comfort.

The couple drove to some nearby convenience store and picked up a couple things for Eddie, driving to the shed and parking far away down the road to trek through the forest of trees. "Eddie?" (y/n) whispers out. "It's (y/n) and Billy." the door suddenly swings open and the metal head sighs in relief, tugging the couple into the shed by their shirts and shutting the door quickly.

"Where are the others? You know what, doesn't matter! Took you long enough! The police were nearby scoping around!" Eddie dives to get a beer from the bags, sighing in bliss from the alcohol.

"There's water too if you decide to not kill your liver..." (y/n) rolls her eyes and Eddie narrows his at her.

"I'll go check out the parameter around the shed, see how close the police were." Billy says, pecking his love's cheeks before walking out of the shed to leave her and Eddie together.

"You look out for your one-night stands when they are on the run from the police often?" Eddie chuckles and (y/n) rolls her eyes at the remark.

"They're usually not the kind to become a suspect for murder so no." the metalhead freezes at the nonchalant tone, wondering if it truly wasn't the couple's first rodeo until (y/n) chuckles lightly. "I'm joking. You were... well our first..."

"I feel honoured." Eddie raises his bear to toast, handing a water bottle to (y/n) before 'clinking' their drinks.

The two fall into an awkward silence. "So..." they both at the same time, chuckling lightly at the uneasy tension.

"Are you ok?" (Y/n) asks and Eddie smiles faintly. This girl, out of everyone that he has met, actually cares about him. Sure Dustin and his friends were there but this girl was a stranger and yet she was here looking out for him even when her other friends weren't here.

"I mean the police and the whole town are hunting the freak."

"I don't think you're a freak. You're cool." Eddie snorts lightly at the corny words, not believing her but he stops when he sees the earnest look in (y/n)'s eyes.

She meant it?

"Well while we're here, tell me about yourself. I got only snippets from Dustin." The metal head blinks at this girl before a bright smile grows on his face.

He talks about his life here in Hawkins, about his uncle Wayne and just growing up here. It was a hard childhood and even harder life but he made do with the small moments of happiness he got. His love of reading that got him into D&D with his never ending supply of imagination and dreams, his band that he hopes to become big one day so he could leave Hawkins and tour with with his friends. He also just wanted to give his Uncle a better life, a better home after everything he has done for him and looking after him.

(Y/n) was in awe, hoping that she could somehow relate to Eddie with his hardships but she had told to him that her memory of her family was gone after she explained how she died from the Mindflayer. She didn't know anything about them since Billy had told her that she rarely spoke about them. She had only pictures and boxes of memorabilia but no actual memory linked to those items. It was sad and lonely and Eddie felt bad for the girl but she reassured him that she was ok now with her new family.

He knew what it was like to not know your parents or your family that was supposed to help look after you, at least there was something in common there. "Guess our old lives sucked huh."

"Let's hope it gets better after all this gets solved." The two drink to that happily until Billy comes back and assures Eddie the cops were nowhere near the shed so he should be ok for now.

"We need to meet up with the others-" the walkie talkie (y/n) was holding suddenly goes off.

"Dustin, (y/n) do you copy?" It was Robin and the girl quickly picks up after Eddie shows her how.

"Yeah we're here."

"So Nancy's a genius. Vecna's first victim date back all the way to 1959."

"Ok, that's totally bonkers, but I can't totally talk right now." Dustin says.

"Wait, what are you doing?" Both girls ask the kid.

"Breaking and entering into school to retrieve confidential and extremely personal files."

"You're breaking into the shrinks office!?" Billy exclaims, sighing in annoyance. "We're coming over you punks. Don't get caught." He says, walking out of the shed.

"Dustin, I'm leaving the walkie talkie with Eddie so he can contact us when he needs to ok." (Y/n) ignores whatever the kid was saying, telling Eddie to stay safe as she passed the walkie talkie to him.

"Thank you." He gives her a hug and she goes rigid until she eases to hug him back before he lets her go, her running out and jumping into her loves car.

"Let's go!" Billy speeds down the road in the night time, careful to not attract any attention when he leaves the woods. "I hope they don't do anything stupid..."

"They're kids, they're gonna do something stupid." Billy says.

"Unfortunately true. Steve better be keeping them safe." (Y/n) notices her loves grip tighten around his steering wheel. "I know you hate Steve but try to be civil please."

"He just gets on my fucking nerve!"

"I know but he's been protecting the kids for a while now." Billy glances at (y/n) to say something but her eyes widen. "Watch out!" She screams, pulling on the steering wheel and he steps on the break hard.

"(Y/n) what the fuck-"

"-look! Is that Lucas!?" Billy looks out the window to see Lucas on the ground with a bicycle next to him, clutching his shirt like he was trying to calm his heart after almost being run over! The frustrated man gets out of the car harshly, fucking annoyed beyond everything and stalks up to the boy that was terrified of him. He hauls up the kid and shoved him towards the car.

"Get in." Lucas quickly nods and doesn't disobey Max's brother, jumping into the back when he notices a girl sitting in the front passenger seat with Billy.

"Who-"

"-hey Lucas." (Y/n) smiles sheepishly while Billy drove to the school, Lucas gawking at the girl that was supposed to be dead.

"What the fuck!?"
