(y/n) - your name

(y/n) watches as she takes someone's skate, holding it tight in her grasp as she walked to the group again. "Angela!" she yells out and the blonde bitch turns around before El hits her in the face with the skate hard.
"That's my girl! That's what the bitch deserves!" (y/n) screams out, jumping in the air and ignoring the wailing cries of Angela declaring her nose being broken. "Ok, enough of that." she runs up to El and grabs her arm, dragging her around the rink and grabbing Mike and Will. "Let's hustle before the cops arrive!"
"Wait, if we leave doesn't it mean we have criminal intent or something!?" Will gasps as he holds his gift tightly to his chest and all 4 individuals stop outside the roller rink building.
"I don't know man." (y/n) sighs as stands in front of the kids who were all shaken up, music still playing in her ear as she never took her walkman off. She couldn't risk it. "El, it's ok."
"How was that ok!?" Mike exclaims.
"El stood up for herself, violent or not, she showed that bitch bully not to mess with her. I prefer to be more violent." (y/n) shrugs and the boys gape at her but she ignores them as she crouches down to El's hight, holding her shoulders. "El, hey it's ok, you're ok honey." the young girl hugs the older, squeezing her. "She shouldn't have been bullying you in the first place. Why was she?"
"El... lost her powers..." Will mumbles out. "And we lost Hopper too... it's been hard for her."
"H-hopper?" (y/n) hitches, frowning. They may not have spent a lot of time together but he was her only father figure she had, the only father figure that remotely cared about her like a dad. "Let's uh, let's just stay here for a bit. Can one of yous call someone to pick you up? I don't mind taking you home with me but it's a bit of a walk."
"Yeah, I'll uh, I'll call my brother to pick us up." Will says, going back inside the rink to call Jonatha. (y/n) kept the young couple company outside as they sat in silence, not sure what to say to each other and she frowned at how frigid they had become to one another. The police and ambulance quickly arrive on scene, getting out of their cars and entering the rink to assess what had happened.
(y/n) kept her walkman on when a policeman walks up to her. "Ma'am, may I speak with you?"
"Sure." the policeman raises a brow at (y/n), eyeing her walkman.
"Would you mind taking off the headset for a second Ma'am?"
"Actually I do mind. I can't take it off for a second." (y/n) frowns, clutching her walkman tight in her grip.
"Ma'am if you do not cooperate with the law here-"
"-I can hear you fine so you can ask your questions." (y/n) crosses her arms and Mike goes rigid next to her, not wanting to get in trouble with the police.
"(y/n), please just listen to him." she sighs and slowly removes it, looking around anxiously when she suddenly starts hearing the chimes again.
"Ok, can you tell me what happened Ma'am?" the policeman asks but (y/n)'s hands shook as the clock chimes got louder, quickly standing up when the ground around her grew red. "Ma'am?" (y/n) panicked when she reached up, not feeling her walkman anymore and the chimes deafened her as the world around her just turned red.
"El!? Mike!?" She screams out, gripping her head as it pounded painfully, running around and trying to find the kids but all she was met with was a deserted red area with vines. "No! Not again!" she cries out when she sees the Mind Flayer in front of her, screeching loudly at a single figure that stood in front of it and she recognised him. "Billy! BILLY!" she cries out as he turns to look at her with a sad expression before blood spilled from his lips when the Mind Flayer pierced his body. "NO! BILLY NO!" she wails out, falling to her knees as his body drops to the floor.
"(y/n)!" she gasps out heavily, trying to take in air as she felt hands cover her ears with the music flowing in them again, her walkman on her head. She looks up to see El look at her with wide teary eyes, moving to hold her hands.
"I'm.. I'm ok..." (y/n) shakes her head, a really sick and terrible feeling sitting on her shoulders. Like something really bad was going to happen.
"You are not ok! You were screaming for Billy!" Mike shakes, letting his hands go from (y/n)'s ears. He should've stopped the policeman from making her take her walkman off if he knew (y/n) was going to go into a seizure.
(y/n) stood up shakily. "I need to go..."
"Go? Go where?"
"Hawkins..."
"What? Why!?" Mike jumps up, very confused.
"Something bad, something very bad is going to happen."
"Bad? What bad thing?" El mumbles out.
"I don't know... I'm sorry kids, I need to go." (y/n) hugged the kid's goodbye, even waiting for Will when he came back out to hug him before walking off.
"What happened?" Will asks as he watches the older girl head off, Mike and El explaining to him what happened until a familiar truck appeared next to them. Jonathan, even though he was slightly high, narrowed his eyes at a figure that was walking in the far distance like he recognised her.
"Is that (y/n)?"

Billy furrowed his brows as he heard the phone ring for the past 5 minutes, slamming it down on the receiver when there was no answer. He was worried, really worried. (y/n) wasn't picking up his calls after he may or may not have forgotten to call her all day the day before.
"Fuck..." He sighs as he puts out the cigarette he was smoking, running his fingers through his hair. Was she mad at him? Was she upset that he didn't call her? Maybe she was just busy. Yeah, maybe she was visiting the cafe and spending some time outside.
"Why are you so pissed?" Max narrows her eyes at her brother.
"Why are you acting like such a little shit with your walkman on all day?" Billy snaps back, going to the fridge to grab a beer. Max wondered what was going on, wondering why her brother was acting so anxious all of a sudden. She had never seen him act like this unless... unless he was worried about (y/n)...
"Who were you trying to call?"
"That's none of your fucking business." Billy says quickly and Max sneers at him.
"Oh, is it one of your many girls back in California? You worried they are ransacking your house? I wouldn't be surprised cause that's how you are! Sleeping around all the time!" Billy glares at his sister who suddenly blows up at him.
"What is your problem!?"
"My problem is that you are sleeping around with girls right after (y/n) just died! Do you not care! At all!? You're such a douchebag!"
"I'm not sleeping around!" Billy slams his beer on the table, his heart squeezing. He could never do that to his love.
"Sure you're not. Not with the calls over the phone and your 'princess'." Max scoffs and Billy sighs as he leans back into the counter.
"You thought-" he quickly stops himself, knowing Max heard his conversation with (y/n) previously but he couldn't tell his sister it was her. "I'm not sleeping around Max. I would never do that to (y/n)." and that was the truth. Billy's heart was with her.
Max blinks at her brother, frowning at him. "It's been barely two months and you're already forgetting about her..." she turns away, trying to hold back her tears. "Everyone just moved on so quickly like they didn't care... even you!" Billy moves off from the counter and pulls his sister into his arms, hugging her as she grasps his shirt.
"I haven't moved on... I won't be able to..." Billy mutters out as Max cries in his arms.
"I miss (y/n)... I miss her..."
"I know kid. I do too. I miss her so fucking much it hurts..." Billy whispers, pulling away as Max dries her eyes while sniffling.
"I'm sorry, for eavesdropping on your call."
"Don't worry about it." Billy shrugs it off. "Where's your mum?" he asks.
"Probably at a bar drinking again." he frowns at Max's answer, frustrated that her mum just couldn't deal with Neil being gone.
"For fucks sake..." Billy was glad he came to help Max even though he knew she could look after herself but she shouldn't have to. This wasn't right that her own guardian was going off getting shitfaced. "Ok, let's order some pizza and watch some movies or some shit." Max nods quickly, happy that her brother was still being sweet to her even though he was a bit rough around the edges. She was glad that he came to look after her. It had been lonely without him. Or (y/n).
Billy called the pizza restaurant, placing an order of what he and Max wanted before going over to the couch to sit with her, watching whatever was on the TV. He looked around, memories coming back to him with how he did the same with (y/n) went he stayed over. This was her house after all but now... now it was different.
The siblings jump when there was a knock on the door. "That was quick." Max says and Billy gets up, brow furrowed. Hawkins had made him alert at all times, he hated this place with a passion. "I'll get it." Max walks over to the door, opening it up when her jaw drops.
"(y/n)!?"
