"He can't get out, can he?" Lucas squeaks out in fear as everyone jumps back, (y/n)'s brother throwing his body against the door that slowly breaks open.

"Apparently he can!" Billy moves (y/n) behind him as her brother breaks through the sauna, growling as dark vines crawled over his skin. Eleven glares at him and raises a barbell set with her powers, throwing it against him and pinning him to the wall. He chokes as the weights crack through the bricks but he manages to push against her powers, her screaming while trying to stop him.

He throws the barbell and Eleven dodges it, dropping to the floor but screams in pain as (b/n) grabs her by the throat, choking her. "Let her go!" (y/n) yells out as she swings a petal pole against her brother and he drops to the floor. "Run!" she shrieks in shock as her brother grabs the pole, throwing it away.

"(y/n)!" Billy yells out as she backs away from her brother, crying from how dead he looked, like he didn't recognise her at all as he walked towards her.

"I'm sorry (b/n)... please..." her brother was about to attack her but he stumbles back, Billy punching him square in the jaw.

"I get it you're family but you don't touch her." he hisses out, pulling (y/n) behind him. Eleven yells out as she raises (b/n), him growling and screaming before she sends him flying through the brick wall.

"Eleven!" (y/n) catches the poor girl as she crumbles into her arms, crying and falling to the floor. She holds her tight in her arms, telling her she's ok as the younger girl curls into (y/n)'s body. The kids and Billy look out through the massive hole in the brick wall, seeing (b/n)'s figure run away through the forest.

Billy looks over to see (y/n) wiping her tears that continue to fall, smoothing Eleven's hair as she calmed down in her arms. His heart hurt seeing her in pain like this, to see her own brother taken by the monsters of the Upside Down. He walks over to her, kneeling down to wipe her tears away as she looked at him sadly.

"I know (y/n)... but we have to go." she nods and he helps up both girls. "Get in the car, all of you." Billy orders the kids into his car, (y/n) taking Eleven in hers since there wasn't enough space. She holds her hand through the entire drive back home, Eleven squeezing tightly. The younger super kid felt safe with (y/n), so safe that she fell asleep while holding her hand as the older parks in front of her house. (y/n) didn't want to wake Eleven up, carefully taking out her hand from her grip and getting out of the car to pick her up.

"Is the kid ok?" Billy walks out of the house, helping (y/n) lock her car and takes Eleven from her as the two walk into the house.

"She must be exhausted..." Billy sets Eleven down on (y/n)'s couch, the kids sitting quietly together on the floor. They were just trying to process everything that just happened, same with the two adults in the room. Billy looked over at (y/n) to see her trying to occupy her mind, trying to keep herself busy from not thinking about her brother and he frowns.

"Hey..." He walks up to her, stopping her hands that were getting snacks and pulls her into his arms to hug her. She cries into his chest, clinging to his back.

"It's my fault... It's all my fault... I should've never left... He would never have come here!"

"You didn't know this was going to happen, it's not your fault-"

"-but I should've seen it coming! I left him, left my family without a word! I disappeared from them because I just couldn't fucking take it anymore! I was selfish and just left! And he needed me! He needed me, Billy! I left him and he needed me!" The kids look over with deep frowns to see their overprotective and mothering (y/n) wail into Billy's arms. They looked at each other and nod, knowing what everyone was thinking.

"We have to save (y/n)'s brother."

"Let's get him back."

"What are you little shits doing now?" Billy glares at the kids as the boys were whispering together while Max and Eleven were in the bathroom.

"Uh, just trying to find the others." Mike squeaks, obviously intimidated by Max's stepbrother as he raises a brow at them.

"And?"

"El could only find Hopper and my mum but they're going to Illinois for some reason." Will says.

"And we can't find Dustin." Lucas pipes in.

"Or Nancy, Jonathan and Steve." Mike says. "We need all the help we can get!"

"Max!" Billy yells out, not liking the boys.

"What!?"

"What are you doing!?"

"Helping El! And we're not talking to Mike or Lucas cause we dumped their asses!" Mike and Lucas groan out and Billy smirks at the relationship trouble the kids were going through.

"Is (y/n) ok?" Eleven hoarsely asks with the burn around her throat as she walked out of the bathroom with Max.

"She's... asleep, getting some rest..." Billy purses his lips, looking up the stairs with worry. Everyone whips their head to the front door when they hear knocking, the kids looking at each other with panic.

"Hey! Don't just open the door-" Billy ignores Mike, opening the door to find Nancy and Jonthan.

"2 out of 3. There you go." He huffs out as they walk in, closing the door again.

"Where have you guys been!? We have been looking for you everywhere!" Nancy and Jonathan yell out at their brothers and they bow their heads knowing they were going to get scolded.

"As much as I like to put punks in their place as much as you, I'm pretty sure there's something else you have for us." Billy says, nodding to the papers Nancy was holding.

"What's going on?" Billy quickly turns around to see (y/n) walk down the stairs, rubbing her eyes and he goes to her.

"What are you doing up? You should be sleeping?" he brushes her hair back gently as she looks up at him tiredly.

"Couldn't sleep." she whispers and he frowns, kissing her forehead. "Plus, good thing I didn't. You two look like you just found something." (y/n) sees Nancy and Jonathan and the couple look at the clearly distressed and exhausted girl. She looked like a zombie.

"Are you ok (y/n)?" Nancy asks and her friend waves her off as Billy lets her go sit on the couch despite him wanting her to go back to sleep again.

"Peachy. So what did you find out?" Nancy explains what her and Jonathan had been doing, investigating rabid rats that lead to the old woman being hospitalised and then her going through the exact same thing Will did last year.

"And look at this.Look at the body temperatures."

"He likes it cold." Will says as Nancy shows everyone the medical report.

"Wait is that Fahrenheit?" (y/n) asks, completely confused seeing a temperature of 95. "Why can't everyone just use celsius..." She groans out, letting the Americans around her talk.

"Wait what time was the attack last night?"

"At 9. ANd your sauna test?"

"At 9." the kids all say.

"She's flayed then... like my brother..." (y/n) mumble sout and Jonathan and Nancy look at her in surprise.

"You have a brother!?"

"For fucks sake..." (y/n) gets up and goes to the kitchen, fed up with everything as she takes out her familiar alcoholic drink from the fridge. She takes a swig, seeing Billy frown at her since they both promised to cut down from drinking so much but she needed this.

"We need to go." Nancy and Jonathan both get up, getting the kids to pack up their stuff.

"Where are we going?" the boys ask.

"To the Holloway house." (y/n) goes upstairs, getting dressed in her combat boots, chain cargo pants and plain shirt with her flannel. She grabs her bag and runs downstairs with Billy putting on his denim jacket, grabbing his keys.

"We'll follow you guys." He says and Nancy nods, everyone getting in her car as (y/n) and Billy get into his car.

"Ok repeat that again? Where are Dustin and Steve?"

"And who's Robin?"

(y/n) sighs as everyone around her was confused about her explaining where the two missing team members were as they all walked up to the Holloway house after parking the cars.

"Robin is a friend of Steves, they both work at the ice cream store ok. Anyway, Dustin intercepted a Russian message so the three of them decoded it and are probably on their own side mission to solve why Russians are in Hawkins."

"They're going to be legends!" Lucas says.

"Let's focus on our mission here." Nancy says, pressing the house buzzer multiple times but getting no reply. She looks at Eleven and she nods, opening up the door for everyone and they all slowly walk in cautiously.

"That's a shit ton of chemicals..." (y/n) sniffs the air, scrunching her nose and everyone walks into the kitchen to see cans split open and liquid spilling all over the floor.

"You think they're guzzling this shit?" Billy and Jonathan ask in confusion.

"Yeah, either that or they just went ona hell of a cleaning spree." Nancy and (y/n) reply back.

"But last year, Will didn't eat chemicals. Did you?" Max asks and Will shakes his head no.

"This is something new." Mike then goes on to explain how mixing chemicals can create a new substance. The kids talk and the adults walk around, Nancy finding blood on the carpet near the dining area.

"Yesterday, Tom had a bandage on his forehead." she goes full-on Nancy Drew on this mystery, following the trail of blood to the garage where there was rope laying on the floor.

"They got tied up..." (y/n) mumbles out

"And they must have taken them somewhere..." Jonathan says.
