"Are all of you punks high or what!?" Billy exclaims after hearing the whole story from Mike and the others, still not being able to wrap his head around the demon dogs and the shadow monster.

"See, he doesn't believe us!" Dustin exclaims.

"What did I tell you? People need proof so let's give him some!" (y/n) says, stepping down on the gas to drive off the road and onto the pumpkin field that Lucas was guiding her to. She sees Billy's car, sharply turning to park next to it before sticking her head out of the window. "Where's Steve you rascals!?" the kids gape at (y/n) as they watched her drive, pointing at Steve who was puking out onto the floor from Max's reckless driving. Billy and her get out of the car, going to the trunk and Billy freezes when he sees the guns.

"Ok... either you're serious or you're killers..." (y/n) hands two to Steve as Billy and her take a couple as well, strapping them on.

"Keys... to Billy now." (y/n) raises a brow at the kids and they groan as Max hands Billy his keys back.

"I swear if you dinged my car shitbird..." Billy hisses, inspecting his precious baby. The kids pass (y/n) and Billy masks and goggles as Steve groans out in pain, mind still fogged while they suit up in gear.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?" Steve asks but the kids ignore him and he throws a hissy fit. Billy and (y/n) help the kid's tie rope to his and her car together, throwing the other end into the hole. Billy was still unsure of what was going on but seeing (y/n) so focused... it must be serious. He goes down the hole after the kids and waits for (y/n) to slide down the rope, Steve dropping after.

"Holy fucking shit..." the three adults gasp out from what they were seeing right now.

"What the fuck is this!?" Billy looked at the vines surrounding him in the tunnels.

"Proof." the kids reply back and he looks at (y/n) who shrugs.

"So you were telling the truth."

"Unfortunately..."

"Fuck..." (y/n) takes out glow sticks and ties them in the rope of where they dropped cause honestly, she doesn't trust the boys leading the way and not getting them lost. 

"Ok let's move!" Steve calls out and (y/n) looks at Billy who sighs out shakily, taking hold of her hand and running after the kids while she dropped a glow stick every few meters.

(y/n) and Billy were keeping an eye out for any creatures as they followed Steve and the kids, guns up and aimed. They have been walking for a while and (y/n) hopes that Steve didn't get them lost.

"What is this place?" Max whispers.

"I have the same question..." Billy hisses out.

"Guys, come on. Keep moving." Steve instructs, walking through another tunnel but Dustin stops, looking up at something pulsing above him.

"Not today muchacho!" (y/n) hisses out as she grabs the back of Dustin's shirt and drags him away from the pulsing bulge, shoving him towards Steve.

"Hey what was that for!?" Dustin glares at (y/n) and she glares back at him, the kid looking over his shoulder to see the thing spray out something and he shudders. "You know what, good call."

"You are harsh on the kids." Billy whispers and (y/n) looks at him.

"Steve said the same thing..." Billy frowns at (y/n) mentioning Harrington. "Am I really that harsh on them?"

"I think you're just protective."

"Yeah, it's my ass if something happens to them..." Billy chuckles softly, going quiet as he remembers back to Steve confessing to (y/n).

"Do you like Harrington?" (y/n) looks up at Billy in surprise.

"What?"

"Do you like him?"

"As a friend yes. But romantically... no." (y/n) shakes her head and Billy nods, a weight lifted off his chest.

"Do you like anyone?" (y/n) frowns at the question, unsure of herself.

"I... I don't know. I don't think so?"

"What do you mean you don't know?" Billy questions.

"I... I've never fallen in love before... I don't know what it's like... what it feels like..." (y/n) sighs sadly. "No ones loved me-I mean I just never experienced it before romantically. And I'm afraid if someone does have feelings for me."

"Why?"

"Because I'm afraid to hurt them. I'm afraid that what I feel towards them might not be the same as how they feel towards me. I can't tell the difference between loving someone as a friend or loving someone romantically. I don't think I know how to fall in love Billy..." he frowns at (y/n)'s confession. "I'm worried that whatever I feel for someone might be wrong, that it might not be something genuine and just feelings of friendship. I don't want to hurt anyone and mislead them..." Billy doesn't say anything and just takes (y/n) hand, holding it. They both fall into a comfortable silence.

"All right, Wheeler. I think we found your hub." Steve calls out and everyone stops as they end up in a large area with tunnels around them.

"Drench it." Miek hisses out and everyone spreads out to dump oil and petrol all over the place.

"Now this, is my favourite part." (y/n) grins, the pyromaniac in her was bubbling in excitement, eager to see this whole thing go up in flames.

"Who gave her the lighter!?" the kids panic seeing the deranged look in (y/n)'s eyes as she opens the lighter with the flame in front of her.

"Burn motherfucker!" (y/n) cackles as she throws the lighter into a puddle of oil, the hub bursting into flames. "Ok, now we run!" she shoves everyone down the tunnel, them all sprinting as they followed Steve. "Follow the fucking glow sticks if you get lost!" she calls out and they run fast to avoid being burnt alive. Mike suddenly falls down in front of her, screaming as a vine grabs him.

"Billy!" Max throws the axe towards him and he grabs the handle, swinging down on the vine to slice it as it screeches in pain.

"Move it!" Billy picks Mike up and hustles it after the kids. 

"Max that's fucking dangerous to throw an axe but good job!" (y/n) yells out and the kid nods at her.

"Shit!" Steve gasps out, stopping everyone from moving when a demo-dog was in front of him.

"Dart!" Dustin exclaims, stepping forward and everyone yells at him to stop but he shushes them. "Trust me."

"Mate trust you!? Are you fucking kidding me!? From what I heard this all began with you!" Billy hisses out, reality hitting him as he sees a Demogorgon for the first time in front of him. "Holy fucking shit this is real..."

"Just trust me please!" Dustin says and both (y/n) and Billy have their rifles aimed just in case. The kid talks to the demo-dog and it almost seems like it's working. Dustin takes out chocolate and feeds Dart, signalling everyone to go as the demo-dog was busy eating.

"I can't believe that worked..." (y/n) mumbles out, looking behind her to see Dustin say goodbye to his friend before she urges him to walk in front of her and Billy.

"These kids are a different fucking breed..." Billy mutters out.

"You don't say. This ain't the first time going against shit like this-" (y/n) gasps and Billy catches her as she stumbles, the others also falling as the ground around them shook violently.

"What was that!?" Max exclaims and everyone turns around to hear monsters roaring and growling.

"They're coming!" Mike breathes out

"Run!" (y/n) hisses out and everyone sprints for it, (y/n) taking out a lighter and hairspray before setting fire to the tunnel behind her.

"(y/n) come on!"

"We need to block this off!" She throws the stuff into the fire and the hairspray blows up, Billy pulling her away and towards the rope where Steve was helping the kids up through the entrance.

"Go! Go!" Steve grunts as he helps all the kids up and he climbs up next, turning around to help Billy and (y/n).

"(y/n) go!" Billy hisses out but both of them turn around as they see the hoard of demo-dogs running towards them.

"(y/n)! Billy! Come on!"

"Oh, shit!" (y/n) screeches out, taking her rifle to fire but gasps as they all run past her and Billy. He holds her close, the both of them turning to look down the other tunnel where the demo-dogs were going.

"Let's go!" Steve calls out and Billy helps (y/n) up through the entrance as Steve pulls her out, the both of them turning around to quickly get Billy out. The three adults all fall back against the ground, panting from relief from almost dying and seeing their short lives flash before their eyes. The kids all stand over them, peering down at the adults as they took their goggles and masks off.

"You good?" Max asks, laughing lowly as (y/n) groans out.

"Fucking peachy..." she sighs out, turning to face Steve who had his arms over his eyes before looking at Billy who was already staring at her. He smiled and laughs lowly, getting up before helping (y/n) up on her feet. "This is one hell of a night to remember..." (y/n) breathes out, watching as Billy looms over Steve with a hand out to hold him. Steve looks at Billy suspiciously before taking his hand and he helps him up.

"Is it over?" Max asks and everyone looks at her before looking at each other, unsure of what to say.
