1: I fight kids

♠~•Percy•~♠

Chaos walked by my side as we exited the throne room, he had his hands clasped behind his back, "Perseus-"

"Um, Percy is alright, sir."

He glanced at me and broke into a grin, "Oh, if you say so, Percy. I see you dislike formalities as much as I, I like that." he said, "Anyway, where was I? Ah, that's right. I rarely give anyone a chance to come into my realm, and you have chosen to come with me, you do realize that the decision you've made is quite difficult, yes?" he stated, I mutely nodded. Honestly, I just wished to be a simple mortal living in New York. Heck, I'd trade my life and be a puppy chewing on my toy peacefully. Speaking of chewing, it's been awhile since I ate anything blue. Boy, what I'd do for a couple of blue pancakes. Chaos chuckled beside me, "My, such a creative mind you have."

I flushed red, can he hear my thoughts? From the reaction he's showing, maybe he can. "I think I would like it if you don't tune in to my thoughts like it was a radio, it's kinda weird." I laughed nervously, he eventually stopped laughing, his face red as he faced me. "So sorry about that, quite immature of me." he said.

"I guess... I won't be seeing home for a long time, huh?" I muttered and stuffed my hands in my pockets. Chaos's eyes were sad when he looked at me, "Yes, the choice of joining my army demands responsibility and sacrifice. But I'll let you say goodbye to your family and friends before you leave."

"No," I immediately answered, "I don't want them to know where I am. I want to save them from the pain and heartbreak that I'll give them." my gaze fell, guilt was eating me up. I was about to leave my family and friends and...Annabeth. I didn't want to leave, but I had to. I heard that there was a prophecy about something big happening, and I need to find out what it is.

Chaos sighed, "If that is what you wish, take my hand."

"What?"

"Just do it. I'll take you out of this world." he winked.

I rolled my eyes and shrugged, I reluctantly touched his hand, then everything went black.

I groaned as I tried to make out where I was. The ground smelled of grass and earth. My sight was blurry, white light danced in my vision. My ears felt like it was stuffed with cotton, muffling everything that I was hearing. I probably made a stupid sound that made Chaos chuckle, "Forgive me for that, you'll get used to it soon." a strong hand pulled me up, I staggered as I tried to stand. I finally came to and realized that we were in a forest, it was like we never left earth.

"When you said you'll take me out of this world, did you just mean that you'd take me somewhere else in the world other than America?" I motioned to our surroundings, he shook his head, grinning childishly. Seriously, is this the guy that rules the whole universe? "Where are we anyway? Ireland? Bulgaria?"

"Nope, in fact, we're not in the Milky way anymore."

"What?" I probably sounded like an idiot, but I turned a full 360 and I was sure that we were still on earth. "We're in Sector 58.06 of the Andromeda galaxy. Welcome to Ende, my headquarters for my army." he spread out his hands.  A dark smirk formed on his face, "I hope that sword of yours isn't just for show." An arrow suddenly flew into a tree trunk, "Fight if you want to live, Perseus."

Chaos disappeared in a puff of black smoke as arrows flew from every direction, I dodged them the best I could, weaving through trees as fast as my legs could carry me. I could imagine Chaos sitting somewhere above me, laughing his butt off. I was having doubts of joining his army already.

Aww, don't be like that! You're going to like it here, once you survive our security system.

"Stop messing with my head! I told you that!" I shouted, though I doubt that Chaos heard me.

Love, I could hear you clear as day. I'll stop reading your thoughts if you could make it to the walls.

"What walls?" and with that, I tripped on a tree root, faceplanting on the ground. I groaned and tried to get up, I noticed that the arrows have stopped firing and I heard voices nearby.

"-told us the recruit is coming, your bathroom break could wait."

"I really need to go, besides you alone could handle him just fine."

"Just wait, okay? Our shifts gonna be over in a few minutes. Stop acting like a brat!"

"Oh will you shut it, you're a brat yourself as well, niedriger Bauer!"

"Reprends ça!"

They continued to bicker, I hid myself behind a tree and managed to get a good look at them, both wore long white cloaks, hoods over their heads, one had a black mask covering their eyes and the other had a black mask covering the lower half of their face. But what surprised me was how young their voices sounded, probably about twelve to thirteen years old.

I saw a tall wall behind them, it seemed to be 60 feet tall (alright, who knows where this reference is from).
"So that's the wall he was talking about." I muttered.

"Don't think that we can't see you. Come out and face us, we shall see if you are worthy of living in Ende." one of the two figures spoke, a silver sword materialized in his hand. I silently cursed, I revealed myself and kept my hand in my pocket. "I guess I have to fight you?" I sounded uncertain, because I really am. I wasn't really in the mood to fight, I mean I don't wanna fight unless I'm provoked.

"I guess you do." the other said, he lunged at me, his spear appeared in his hand. I uncapped my pen, the two of them were surprised that I was armed (how would I ever made it past the arrows if I wasn't?). Before he could skewer me, I stepped aside, luckily I trained how to fight against a spear with a sword. As soon as his spear was stuck on the ground, I broke the wooden handle, disabling him from using it. "A good move, recruit. Now let's see how well you fight with two opponents." the person said, I can imagine him smirking beneath his mask.

"Hey, dummkopf! Get your baguette behind here and help me!"

As fast as light, the other kid ran at me, sword drawn. My sword met his, the kid was surprisingly stronger than I expected. "No way, this guy's a demigod!" he exclaimed.

"Again? The past six recruits were demigods as well, this blows. I think Chaos wanna overrun Ende with half-bloods already." the other one said, a lance appeared in his hand. Oh that's just great.

I fought the both of them simultaneously, I tried to find at least a little opening but unfortunately found none.

Are you seriously forgetting that you're Poseidon's kid?

"Why didn't I think of that?" I said through gritted teeth. I managed to escape from them momentarily, then I proceeded to focus on the water particles in the air. The wind picked up, the clouds were darkening, the air became damp. A small hurricane formed around me, I was slowly lifted from the ground thanks to the wind.

"Alright, what the fu-" before the kid could finish his sentence, I willed the hurricane to go after them. Before they could even run away, the wind picked them up and slammed them to the wall, pinning them there.

The wind howled, my head began to feel fuzzy. As I was about to pass out, one of them called out, "ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! YOU CAN PASS! JUST LET US GO!"

Mentally thanking him, I willed the hurricane to dissipate. I fell on my hands and knees right after, panting like I had ran in a marathon. The two of them fell on the ground, giggling like maniacs. "I could've killed you, y'know."

"But you didn't!" one of them said through fit of laughter. I rolled my eyes, I swear I'm going to slap Chaos as soon as I see him. Eventually, they stopped laughing and they walked towards me, "Thanks for the fight, we really needed something to amuse ourselves today. I'm Stephen of Cloyes, it's been an honor to fight with you, mister." he held out a hand, I shook it. The other kid held out his hand as well, "Nicholas of Cologne, pleasure to meet you." I shook his hand as well, "There's no need to introduce yourself, Mr. Jackson. We guardians know most of everything. Chaos told us about you, and now it's time for us to take you to Ende."

A small doorway formed on the wall as soon as Stephen touched the wall, he went through first, followed by Nicholas and me. My jaw dropped when I saw Ende.

Imagine a place where all of the countries in the world from different timelines were mushed together in one place, add some science and magic, races of from different planets and nations and BAM! That's Ende. It was so chaotic yet beautiful at the same time, like an abstract painting.

Beings from different countries and planets walked through the streets, aircrafts from blimps to flying saucers flew in the air, vehicles of all kinds travelled on the roads, stores of various types opened, selling items of many kinds. It was the melting pot of the universe. "Close your mouth, a fairy might find their way into your mouth." Nicholas joked. I followed his advice.

"Ah! I'm so glad you made it!" a familiar voice greeted me, Chaos grinned from ear to ear. Without hesitation, I walked up to him and smacked his face. I thought I was a goner when I did that, I knew that he'll vaporize me for slapping him. But to my surprise, he rubbed his cheek and laughed, "Yeah, I guess I deserved that." he smiled apologetically, I sighed. "I'm sorry, Lord Chaos for slapping you."

"Love, there's no need to be sorry! I should be the one apologizing, I've faced worse. One recent recruit of mine tried to punch my face, and I must say, that girl can punch hard-" the primordial cleared his throat, "Anyway, welcome to Sárna, border town of Ende. I shall be introducing you to the Higher Parliament, in the central city. But before I do that, you might want to get familiar with our planet and its history."

Oh look, a longer chapter.
