As I promised, here goes the part 2 of chapter 25. I have a few warnings for you.

First things first, there's a sexual content in this chapter. If you don't want to read it, just skip it when you see it's starting.

The sex scene is the first one I wrote so don't be harsh with your judging (LOL!). I gave my best and I edited it a lot.

For the next few days, Daniel and Nikki were spending together on the beach, surfing or just hanging out. Sometimes they were alone, sometimes with friends. Addison was thrilled with Naples. The warm weather, the warm people and welcome she received simply had left her breathless. The short blonde now understood why Nikki didn't want to return to Seattle.

Brian and the rest had promised her to gather for the weekend and show her how the people from the South partied. Addison was genuinely happy to go out with them. The weekend arrived fast. As Nikki was getting ready in her bathroom, Brian was sitting on the sofa in her room, waiting for her.

„Does Dan coming to the club?"

Nikki just applied the last layers of mascara.

„Yeah, he said he'll find us there," she yelled from the bathroom. The man stood up, his eyes falling on the mirror. He observed himself well. The blue tight jeans and the black shirt were a great choice. He slowly reached the open door of the bathroom, leaning against the frame.

Nikki saw him through the mirror and raised her eyebrow questionably.

„Addison," Brian started. The woman noticed he was nervously playing with his fingers. „Is she single?"

Nikki paused for a moment, lowering her hand which was holding mascara. She slowly faced him.

„Why?", she asked him curiously to which Brian put an indifferent facial expression.

„No reason. I'm asking out of curiosity."

Nikki nodded, deciding that she wouldn't force him to talk to her. Brian was still somewhat hurt by Marina's departure.

„As much as I know, yes. Unless something has changed in a very short time," she replied, looking back at her face in the mirror.

Brian smiled slightly. He looked at Nikki. She looked very nice in a tight dark blue dress she had chosen.

„Are you trying to kill Dan? As soon as he lays his eyes on you, he'll faint," he said and changed the subject.

Nikki smiled broadly.

„I'm hoping for some sort of reaction. Maybe not as much as him fainting, but to react."

Nikki was soon ready so they left her room together and waited for Addison in the lobby. After a few more minutes, she joined them. She also decided to wear a tight black dress and heels that made her taller than she usually was. Nikki carefully observed Brian's reaction. As much as he tried to hide his attractiveness for Addison, he didn't succeed.

„Shall we?" he asked, looking toward the exit.

„Take the lead," Addison replied cheerfully.

Brian helped them to get in his car. It didn't take them long to get to the club. David, Diego, Aline, and Patricia were already waiting for them in one of the booths. Daniel wasn't there yet. Brian and the girls sat down next to them. Nikki let Addison sit down to Brian while she sat next to Aline. They talked about some general stuff until Daniel arrived.

Nikki immediately stood up, wanting to properly greet her boyfriend. The tall man paused for a moment, being impressed by her appearance, while she smiled broadly. He didn't know what he did to deserve Nikki but he was thanking heavens and Sofia every day for bringing her to him.

The duo settled next to Aline and Daniel softly hit her elbow.

„Hey, why are you frowning?" he asked.

Aline just pointed with her head to a few booths farther. He and Nikki followed her gaze which was on Maia all the time. The Australian was sitting in the lap of a red-haired girl Aline recognized as Jess.

„Maia? Really, Aline? I thought you've already moved on," Daniel said with a surprise. The Latina just shrugged, taking a sip of her beer.

„Looks like I didn't."

„Did you do anything to get her back?" Nikki asked as Aline shook her head. She was convinced there was no more time for fixing their relationship.

„She told me she no longer wants anything to do with me. It's over, people. I've already given up."

Daniel returned his gaze to Maia, noticing how the Australian was looking right back at them. She didn't smile and her eyes were somehow penetrating like she was trying to cause a reaction in Aline. However, when she noticed Daniel's eyes on her, she immediately looked back at Jess, kissing her lips. Aline's breathing became heavier but Daniel just snorted.

„What's funny?" Nikki asked, surprised by his reaction.

„Don't you guys see it? Maia's just trying to provoke you, Aline," he replied. „If there's something more between them, then why she'd constantly searching your glance and wait for you to look at them? It's more clear than a daylight, trust me."

Aline shook her head. She didn't believe in Daniel's theory. Maia's lips attached to other ones was clear enough proof. Nikki was thinking the same as her.

„Then why she's persistently refuseing to talk to me?

„Because you like it or not, you're the one who fucked up. Your words won't convince her that you deserve another chance. Maia had enough of your explanations. You have to find a different approach.", he explained but Aline just waved her hand.

„Well, she looks happy the way the things are. I certainly won't beg her to get back with me," she replied firmly and wanted to get up but Daniel caught her wrist.

„Hey, stop," he said. „If you want to be with Maia, you can. She's just waiting for your next move, trust me. You can still fix everything you messed up. I have an idea."

The Latina first stopped a little and then sat back down next to her friend.

„I'm listening," she replied. Nikki looked at them cautiously.

„Well, we need a lot of preparations but I think we can do it. First, I need to introduce you to someone. He'll help us."

Aline assumed where he was going with this and she just shook her head.

„I won't make her jealous with some guy. No chance, Dan."

Nikki nodded, agreeing with her.

„It's nothing like that. I promise. Just come with me," he said, getting up and pushing Aline out of the booth.

Nikki was still observing them as they approached the stage. Daniel greeted one of the guys who gathered in front and then introduced him to Aline. She saw the Latina smiling and shaking the hand of his mysterious friend. Nikki then felt a touch on her hand and her head snapped toward Brian. He pointed his head in their direction.

„What these two are up to?" he asked curiously but she just shrugged.

„Who would know? Dan has some weird idea how to get Maia and Aline back together. Let them be," she replied. Brian watched them a few more moments and then returned his gaze to Addison who was involved in some kind of discussion with Diego, David, and Patricia.

Nikki noticed him looking at her friend and she was checking out his facial expression. Yes, there was no doubt. Brian liked Addison. He lightly hit him on his shoulder, dragging his attention back to herself.

„Why don't you start a conversation with her? She'll understand it better than you just staring at her," she said directly. Brian suddenly blushed, looking down as Nikki let out a loud laugh. This gained the attention. Especially Addison's.

„What's going on?" she asked with a smile.

The dark-skinned woman raised her eyebrow, just looking at Brian. He had no choice. He had to say something.

„Umm...Addy...do you maybe want to dance?" he asked somewhat confused.

Addison was left with no words. She was just looking at his blue eyes. The others are surprised too but Brian was the one, nervously shifting in place, waiting for her answer.

„Umm...I'm not such a good dancer," she finally answered. There was a disappointment written all over his face. „But you can take me out to the fresh air. It's too hot here."

Brian finally dropped the breath he was holding, smiling broadly at her. He got up and grabbed her hand. Together, they headed toward the exit of the club. Their friends just looked at each other, starting to laugh loudly.

„I can't believe it. What the hell was that?" David asked, confused.

Nikki leaned toward Diego, laughing.

„Haven't you noticed how much he likes her?" she asked him, trying to catch her breath.

David just shook his head, not believing what he just testified.

„No. I thought he was still...I mean, I'm glad for him."

Diego took a sip of his beer and then looked at the stage. His eyes instantly became wide and he lowered his gaze to the bottle but it was already too late. Nikki caught on his strange reaction. This made her face the stage too.

Daniel was standing there, talking to Aline, his friend, and some unknown brown-haired woman, whose hand was placed around his waist. Nikki's heart sank. She swallowed hard.

„Do you guys know who she is?" she asked but everyone was silent. That was enough for her. „She's one of his girls, isn't she?"

As no one answered, she stood up and took a decisive step toward them. Daniel didn't seem like he was trying to defend himself from an unknown woman. He allowed her hand to remain on his waist. Nikki approached, sliding between them.

„Am I interrupting something?" she asked with a raised eyebrow, making Daniel immediately move away from the woman.

„No...umm...this is my friend Gavin," he introduced the other man. Nikki shook his hand and then faced the woman who was in close touch with Daniel.

„I'm Nikki," she said. „Daniel's girlfriend."

The woman's eyebrows rose up in surprise.

„You have a girlfriend?"

The tall man shifted in place nervously, rubbing the back of his head.

„Umm...yeah."

Though the woman's reaction was a bit strange, Nikki could see some disappointment on her face.

„Well, I'm Tanya. Nice to meet you," she said with a strange smile on her face. Nikki just looked at her and then approached.

„It would be nice if you could keep your claws away from my boyfriend," she exclaimed and then looked at Daniel. „I'm going out."

She started to march toward the exit, disappearing into the sea of people. Daniel was frozen in place, in panic. Aline was a bit surprised by Nikki's reaction, while Gavid hit him with his elbow.

„Wow, you girl is straightforward," he commented. „If I were you, I'd go after her. This doesn't look good."

That startled him.

„Yes...yes, of course," he replied and started to move toward the exit. This was the second time he was running after Nikki for the same thing. He hoped it was also the last time.

Aline, Gavin, and Tanya stayed alone.

„Bad timing, Tanya," Aline said.

„Yeah, I can see that.", she said, disappointed. „See ya, guys."

She walked away in an unknown direction.

In the meantime, Daniel was looking for Nikki. He had a presumption where she could be and proved to be right. There was a woman's silhouette in the distance, in the shallows which resembled Nikki a lot. He immediately moved toward her. As he approached, he could see her bag and shoes in the sand and the sea dashing against her knees.

Daniel also took off his shoes and stood next to her, looking in the distance, into the darkness.

„I'm sorry about this. I didn't know Tanya is here," he apologized, hearing Nikki taking a deep breath. She was still frowning.

„You slept with her too, didn't you?"

The tall man stayed silent. He didn't know how to answer this question but his silence was a good enough answer. She snorted sarcastically, rubbing her temple.

„When I leave, how can I be sure you won't sleep with her or any of them again?" she asked seriously.

Daniel widened his eyes, shocked by her question. He caught her upper arms, forcing her to face him. Nikki looked up and he could see a fear and a lot of insecurity in her eyes.

„I'd never do that to you, Nikki," he replied. „This thing with Tanya was only a one night stand. When I was with any of them, I was almost always out of my mind drunk. I've told you this was the only way. You know I would've never done this to you. I swear."

She turned her gaze to the sea, shaking her head. The sea was hidden in the darkness which was all around them.

„I..." she started but Daniel's hand moved her head up, her eyes back to his, locking their glances to one another. He pressed a long, light kiss on her lips. Nikki immediately kissed back, closing her eyes.

„Stop thinking about it. I'm not interested in any of them. Not like that, okay?"

The woman slowly nodded, allowing him to pull her in a shooting hug. She knew Daniel wasn't lying. Deep in her heart, she knew there was no reason for concern. His hand was gently passing through her locks, in order to calm her a little more. Nikki's tense body almost completely relaxed, melting deeper into his embrace.

When she moved away from him, he smiled.

„Do you feel better now?"

„Yeah!"

„Great, because there's something I need to tell you," he replied.

She raised her eyebrows questioningly but instead of a verbal answer, she felt two hands pushing her in a deeper water, below the surface. She was almost completely under the cold surface and was so surprised by this that she choked on salt water. She could hear Daniel's loud laughing.

When she finally managed to straighten up, she wiped her face and eyes with her hands and then started to glare furiously at her very entertained boyfriend. Daniel was swirling from laughing so hard.

„I'll fucking kill you!" she hissed.

He raised his arms, approaching her.

„I'm sorry but I had to. The opportunity was too good to miss it," he explained, catching his breath. Nikki wasn't impressed with his answer, still giving his angry looks so the tall man caught her around her waist and allowed her to wet his clothes.

„Don't be mad," he said, kissing her cheek.

Nikki gently pushed him off and marched back to the shore. She picked up her belongings, facing him again. Daniel could see a small smile creeping its way onto her face.

„I want you to take me to my hotel because I can't go back to the club like this."

He nodded and pulled out his phone. Then, he sent Brian a short message. He needed to let him know they were leaving. There was no answer and Daniel assumed Brian was busy talking or dancing.

Then, both of them went in a direction of her hotel. They received a few strange looks from passengers but nothing too important. Nikki smoothed wet strands of her black hair so they wouldn't fall down on her eyes. Daniel observed her.

„You're very beautiful, you know?" he suddenly exclaimed as Nikki looked up at his face with a slight smile.

„Even like this?"

He nodded.

„Even like that."

Nikki no longer commented on his statement. She just continued to walk in a pleasant silence. They soon arrived in front of her hotel. Daniel stopped at the entrance, getting ready to say goodnight but Nikki had other plans.

„Do you maybe want to get in?" she asked carefully.

He chocked on thin air. She caught him unprepared and he was surprised by her question. Nikki could see he was hesitating so she grabbed his hand, pulling him closer.

„Please. We could talk or watch a movie," she explained but Daniel still wasn't sure how good idea this was.

However, he discovered he has one weakness and it's Nikki's pleading look. The same pleading look she was giving to him now so in the ned, he accepted the offer. Nikki smiled broadly, taking him upstairs to her room. As soon as the door closed, Daniel squirmed uncomfortably in place.

„Umm...I guess you need a shower. I'll wait for you," he said.

Nikki looked into his eyes. Yes, she really needed a shower to wash the salt from her skin. Daniel felt a little uncomfortable but she knew she wasn't the only one who needed a shower. The front of his shirt was completely wet. The result of that hug on the beach. She squirmed, wondering whether she should ask the question.

„You could join me," she finally uttered. It wasn't a question. It was a suggestion.

Daniel's eyes widened in surprise. He wanted to say something but he seemed to have lost his voice.

„I...umm..." he was mumbling nonsense. Nikki approached him, putting her arms around his neck. It silenced him.

„Can you please not overthink?" she asked. „Or do you need alcohol for that?"

Her statement seemed to have awakened him from the trance and shock he found himself in. He looked down at her lips.

Nikki was ready to take this step. But he wondered was he ready? Could he handle that?

He knew he had to decide and he didn't want to hurt her feelings once again.

„No. I don't need alcohol."

He pulled her deeper into her embrace, closing the gap between their lips. She immediately kissed back, still holding him around his neck. This time, their kissing was different. It was no longer a few innocent pecks. This time, it was more passionate, more needy. Daniel's feelings were breaking through the roof. He simply needed to feel her body close to his. His hands were starting to roam all over her back until they found the zipper of her dress.

Just as he slowly licked her bottom lip, trying to let her know that he wanted an entrance, he pulled the zipper down. Nikki allowed his tongue to get in touch with hers and he could hear a little whimper coming out of her mouth. She started to move backward, toward the bathroom.

Never stopping kissing, they had a hard time trying to find the bathroom door. As soon as Nikki felt the light switch, she turned it on, pulling Daniel into the small bathroom. He closed the door behind them. He immediately switched their positions and she found herself pressed to the same door.

Daniel finally found the courage to pull the dress down, revealing the skin hidden under the fabric. Nikki didn't stop kissing him. Her hands slowly moved over his shoulders, to his torso, finding the buttons of his shirt. She started to unbutton it. She wanted him to be as much exposed as her. Her fingers were passing over his torso, feeling his crazy beating heart.

When his shirt was off too, he finally released her lips but stayed close, leaning his forehead against hers. He was taking shallow breaths. Nikki opened her eyes, just to find his closed ones. She put a palm on his cheek.

„Dan? Are you okay? We can stop if you want?"

But he shook his head and opened his eyes. What she saw made her swallow hard. His eyes were no longer sea blue. They were dark, stormy blue.

She realized Daniel was turned on.

„I want you so fucking much, you have no idea," he said.

Nikki almost lost it then and there. She just pulled him impossibly close to herself, feeling his bare skin burning on hers. His fingers were exploring her body in every sense of the word.

„You have me. It's up to you what you're going to do about it."

He kissed her hard again, not hesitating of pulling the rest of her underwear down. She helped him to get rid of his pants too and soon they were standing in place with no more clothes on. His lips were slowly leaving hers and started to move down her jaw, to her neck. He started to leave open-mouthed kisses, finding more than one sensitive spot and making her moan.

„You're so beautiful," he said and tasted the saltiness of her skin. Nikki was going mad with want. She practically forced his head to move down, toward her breasts. When he started kissing the valley of her breasts, she could no longer hold back.

„Oh, God..." she moaned, instantly making him even harder than he already was.

Daniel's lips finally found her breast bud, enclosing around it and sucking gently, as his hand lightly pinched the other. He looked up and found Nikki's head thrown back, her mouth open in a perfect O. This image was making him want her even more. Soon, he switched to another one, not even thinking about stopping. Nikki was in complete bliss.

When her buds were already painfully hard, he stopped, moving his kisses back toward her neck.

She started to go backward and got into the shower stall. He just raised his dark eyes, absorbing her beauty. Nikki let a small smirk to creep its way on her face. She felt a little proud of herself to get him into this state. Then, she stretched out her hand, offering it to him. Daniel smiled back and accepted her hand.

A warm water immediately wetted them, relaxing their muscles.

As Daniel's eyes were roaming all over Nikki's body, he was thinking about the times when he was sure he would never feel this way ever again. He thought that no one, besides Sofia, would ever again awake all these feelings, emotions and, above all, arousal in him. But Nikki proved to be the right choice. He no longer needed alcohol to feel something. He was no longer empty. She helped him put himself together in every sense of the word.

A soft palm around his shaft snapped him from thinking and he looked at Nikki's dark eyes again. It was obvious she could no longer wait. Her lips found his own again. They were inviting and more needy.

„I need you to make love to me," she breathed.

He enclosed the gap between them again, kissing along her neck. His hand went toward her most intimate part and just as he ran his fingers through her folds, he found a sweet spot on her neck, gently sucking it. A loud moan was breaking all over the bathroom.

„Dan...please...I..."

Her broken gasps were making him smirk.

„What do you need, baby?!" he surprised himself by asking this.

„Oh, God...I...I need you in me."

His fingers made a few more circles on her clit, making her even wetter than before. She didn't need a foreplay. He leaned forward, his lips touching her ear.

„Turn around, bend over and put your palms on the wall," he whispered, almost like he was giving her an order. At this point, Nikki didn't have the strength to refuse him. She did exactly as he told her.

Daniel liked to have her like this. All submissive to him. When he saw she was ready, he put his palms on her hips, holding her steady in one place. Then, he slowly entered her with one long thrust, his eyes rolling back.

„OH!" Nikki almost screamed.

He wanted to never forget this feeling. At this point, he knew he could no longer be without her. He was standing still for a few moments, giving them both the opportunity to use to one another. Besides the shower running, Nikki's heavy breathing was the only sound in the bathroom.

After she got used to him, he started to move slowly, Nikki's walls clenching around him and giving him this liberating feeling. Daniel never felt so good.

He leaned more forward, catching her around the waist as he was moving forward and backward.

Nikki was on cloud nine. She could never imagine the feeling of being so intimate with Daniel would feel this good. One of his hands grabbed the palm she was still holding on the wall and he intertwined their fingers, never stop moving. He knew this wasn't just sex. With Nikki, it would never be just sex. Their feelings were on so much higher level. He could never compare her to any other girl he was with after Sofia.

As he was slowly moving, Daniel felt her walls clenching more and more.

"Oh, God, Dan I'm...I'm..." Nikki breathed out, not able to say full sentence due to the sensation she was feeling.

He knew what's going to happen soon, so he speeded up his movements, in hopes that they would catch this high together.

Nikki was moaning loudly, calling his name.

His free hand gently squeezed her left breast and his lips found her shoulder. A few more thrusts later, they both found their release. He felt Nikki's whole body trembling as he was helping her come down from the high and at the same time, trying to control himself.

A few moments later his thrusts slowed down and they were just leaning against the wall, trying to catch a breath. Nikki's chest was heaving and she felt two strong arms catching her around the stomach. She let Daniel pull her into his embrace and leaned her head against his chest. She didn't have enough strength to stand straight by herself.

He moved a few strands of wet hair from her face and kissed her temple softly.

„Are you okay?"

She laughed, barely nodding.

„That was...I've never..."

Daniel realized she still can't form a normal sentence. This made him a little proud of himself. He pulled her beneath the water jet, allowing her to clean herself up. She looked up into his eyes and once again saw this light blue color she learned to love so much. Her palm found his cheek.

„I should ask you if you're okay? We've kinda just...jumped into this. And I know it's a big step for you."

Daniel just kissed her.

„I wouldn't have done it if I wasn't ready. I just needed a little push," he explained, which made her smile. She was so happy. Daniel finally let himself go. He let all these emotions back into his heart. He liberated himself of chains that were pulling him beneath the restless surface of all negative feelings and emotions. And she was so happy to be the one who pushed him. She wouldn't change it for the world.

Soon, they cleaned themselves of salt and all the other things and Nikki came out of the shower stall, taking a big white towel so she could dry herself up but Daniel had other plans. He caught her ass but his hands immediately moved toward her thighs, caressing the soft skin. She had an idea of what he wanted so she jumped and circled her legs around his waist.

„What are you..."

„We're not done yet, baby," he said, already burning his head in her neck, leaving wet kisses all along it. Nikki's hand went through his hair. She was trying to hold onto the last fraction of sanity she had.

„Dan, we're both still wet. We should dry ourselves."

Daniel just started to move toward her bedroom and bed.

„You should be wet for this.", he exclaimed with a smirk, making her laugh. „I can't get enough of you."

He laid her down on white sheets, which instantly got wet from water and he climbed above her. His lips worked their magic. Nikki was soon once again squirming beneath him. He was moving his kisses more southern and before reaching her sex, he looked up once again, a small smirk on his lips.

„I want you to enjoy this," he said and put his lips on her most intimate part, making her almost scream his name. Making her feel things she never felt before while they were rolling between the sheets.

Many, many hours later, they were both laying on the bed, almost in the complete dark, with their faces to the door. One of Daniel's hands was beneath Nikki's neck, while the other was clasped around her waist.

„You don't know how special you are to me," he said. Then, he peppered a few light kisses to her neck. The woman instinctively closed her eyes and absorbed the feeling. She faced him, caressing his cheek.

„I love you so much."

Daniel smiled.

„I love when you say that."

„I can't wait to hear the same," she replied.

The tall man took her palm, placing it over his heart.

„And you would...soon," he said honestly.

Nikki didn't doubt his words. She nodded, smiling and exchanging a few short kisses with him. Daniel pulled her impossibly close to his body. She leaned her head against his chest. Another mild smile crept its way on her face.

There you have it! Daniel and Nikki finally did it...LOL. But seriously now, she finally managed to break his shield fully. He kinda needed this to see he still can feel and be good for someone. This was the last part of liberating Daniel of all his demons and Sofia itself.
