"Let's break up, Dew."

"Bam? Not funny."

"I'm already with someone else right now. Sorry for not being honest with you before."

"Bam.."

"I'm sorry.."

The sound of the curtains being opened awakes Dew from his nap. He blocks the sunlight from his vision to see his bestfriend Win standing near the windows opening the curtains. The guy later staring at him then shook his head with a heavy sigh.

"Get up, Dew! How long do you want to stay like this? You didn't attend classes for weeks now. I don't know what to give excuses about you to the professors anymore.", Win said.

Dew just ignored Win's babblings and pulled the blanket up to his head.

"Hey! Are you listening?", Win said, half shouting. He slightly sighed then sat on the bed besides Dew.

"It's been weeks, Dew. You should get over her.", Win said.

But watching Dew didn't even move nor listening to him he started cursing the guy. "You'll die at this point, ai sat!"

"What will you gain from acting like this? You should move on from her already. You think she'll come back to you? What are you even thinking?"

Win keep babbling but Dew just ignored him. No intention to listen to the fair skinned guy. Sometimes, he will pickup the things on the floor and put it on their place. At this point, he doesn't know if Dew ever bothered to clean his room. Win sighed. Whatever, not even thinking of cleaning the room. He's not even taking any shower. What about eating?

Stinks!

"Go away, Win.", Dew said. Tired of listening to him.

"Ugh! Fine!", Win growled. "Just.. please get up and take a shower. I bought some food too. Eat it later. I'm leaving."

Win said then lightly tap Dew's shoulder before leaving the room. But his mouth still talking.

Dew came out from the bathroom after taking a shower. He saw the plastic bag Win brought earlier with some foods in it.

"You should get over her, Dew. Do you think she'll come back to you? What are you even thinking?!"

Win's words came back to his mind.

"Should I?", He thought.

Bam and him dated for years which since highschool. But he didn't know where's the wrong, their relationship suddenly didn't work out. Was he the mistake? Even Dew himself, don't know the reason. Bam suddenly asked for a break up and told him she's already have someone else.

Maybe things between them just doesn't work out. Or not meant for each other.

It's time, Dew. It's over. Let's just move on.

Dew wiped the clear beads that slowly appeared from his eyes.

Dew look at the open sea. The blue sky, sound of the ocean waves and the smell of the ocean calm his mind. This is literally a good start for him to heal himself and moving on. While enjoying the view, suddenly his phone rang. He answered the video call from Win.

"Hey, Dew. You arrived?"

"Er. I'm here.", Dew answered and slightly smiled.

Dew decided to move on from Bam, Win suggested he should take a short break and go for a vacation. He told Dew there's a good resort far away from the city he once went with his family. Dew didn't refused and take it as a good way for him to calm his self.

"Show me the sea.", Win said. He's more excited than Dew.

Dew show the view Infront of him. Win couldn't hide his excitement and told Dew his story where he once went there and there. This and that. Dew just chuckled listening to his bestfriend story.

"The last time I went there, there are alot of beautiful girl. Maybe you'll find one. Believe me, they're hot!", Win teased.

"Stop it, Win. I came here for a good reason."

"Ao. Isn't finding a girl is good too?"

Dew just shook his head. He tried to change the topic with asking Win what are the fun things he can do there. Of course Win and his talkativeness start to tell him everything again. Dew also sometimes will show Win the surrounding of the beach and sometimes walking backwards. Without him realizing he was about to bump into someone.

With a quick reflex, Dew grabbed the person's arm so he will not fell down. Dew's and the shorter guy's eyes met.

"P'Nani! The kite is flying away!", The kids said.

Dew just realized there are also kids over there. Now he know, they were playing kites. The guy immediately pulled his arm from Dew's gripped and watch at the kite blew away by the wind. The string is broken definitely because of the strong winds.

"Ao!", The guy named Nani whined. He sighed.

"What are we gonna do?", The kids said. They were kinda disappointed in Dew's eyes (of course).

"Hey, khun!", Nani turned to Dew. "Why don't you use your eyes properly next time? Look what have you done?"

"I'm sorry, krub.", Dew apologised.

"Did your height makes you couldn't see people?", He said again. Dew show his confused face.

What does it have to do with my height?

"You the one who is short.", Dew whispered to himself.

"What did you said?!", Nani suddenly yelled.

Did he heard that?!

"Er. No! No! I didn't mean to.."

"I heard that! You said I'm short!", He said. His face now is bright red. Probably because he's angry.

"P'Nani! Don't get angry. Come! Come! Let's go back.", The kids already pulling Nani away.

"You better don't show yourself Infront of me!"

Dew could just scratch his head. "Alai wa."

"Why?", Win who's still on the phone asked.

"Forget it. Just a little incident."

It's almost dark. After spending some time watching the sunset, Dew decided to go back to his room. He was about to open the door when he realized he didn't have the room key with him.

"Damn! I must've have forgot it inside the room.", He murmured.

Dew walked to the reception counter to borrow the spare key.

"Excuse me.", Dew said.

"Sawadee kha.", The lady greeted him with a smile. "How can I help you sir?"

"Er.. actually, I left my room key in the room. Can I borrow the spare key for a while?", Dew asked.

"Oh, really? Well, of course we can do that. May I know the room number?"

Dew tell her his room number and was asked to wait for a moment. While waiting suddenly the guy he met at the beach that evening came near the counter.

"P' Mae! What's for dinner?"

"Ao, Nani. Wait a minute. I'm working."

"Krub.", Nani replied.

Dew just stared at Nani. His lips curved a smile. Probably Nani still hasn't realized his existence there.

This guy is cute when he smile.

After seconds, Dew make a fake cough.

"Ahem!"

Nani lifted his head, shifting his eyes on Dew. His eyes suddenly widened.

"You!", Nani said while pointing his finger to Dew. Dew just smiled, mocking him.

"Ao! You know him, Nani?", Mae asked. She was just about to give the key to Dew.

"This is the guy I told you earlier!", Nani answered.

Dew looked at him in disbelief. Did this guy spread rumours about me?

"Good then! Here's the key, take him to his room. He left his key in the room."

"Ao! Why me! Don't want!", Nani refused.

"Nani. He's our guests. Go! Just a while.", Mae said.

Nani kept whining but Mae didn't listen to him.

"Go, or no dinner for you."

Nani growled. "Ugh! Okay!"

He took the spare key and walked first to the room.

"You can follow him, sir. Please tell us if you need anything after this.", She said with a lovely smile.

"Sure. Thank you krub."

"Your welcome sir."

Dew shifted his eyes towards Nani who's already walked steps ahead. He smiled and shook his head before following Nani from behind.

"Hey..", Dew called him but Nani ignored.

He walk besides Nani. The guy didn't response to him. He then took a glance at him. Is he still angry?

"About earlier. I'm sorry.", Dew said.

"Sorry for the kite?", Nani asked.

"Yeah."

Nani rolled his eyes. What about calling me short?!

"And... For calling you short.", Dew added.

"Mm."

"What 'Mm'?", Dew asked.

"Er! Apology accepted."

"Really?"

"Er!", he said. "Also, you're our resort guest. You might post on the internet that our resort gives bad service if I didn't forgive you."

"Huh?", Dew questioned. He didn't think Nani would thought that far. "No. I won't do that. Why would I?"

Nani briefly stared at him. "Whatever. Stop asking or I take back my words.", Nani said.

Dew swallow his saliva. Why is this guy so fierce.

As they arrived at Dew's room, Nani immediately open the door. He was about to leave but Dew stopped him.

"Wait.", Dew said. Nani looked at him, frowning.

"Since we're good now. How about we start all over again?", Dew said. "I'm Dew."

Nani kept silent for a while and look at Dew. Dew suddenly feel nervous because of Nani's sharp gaze.

"I.. I mean. We're kinda look like at the same age. I just think that we might can get close to each other. Friends... I mean.", Dew said. He signed when Nani didn't even reply to him.

"Nevermind. I understand.", Dew was about to enter his room when Nani suddenly spoke.

"Nani."

Dew smiled, showing his dimple. He extended his hand out. Nani glance at Dew's hand, getting the hint Dew wants to shake hands. He curved a smile then accept it.

Hello everyone! Pastel here. Yeah, I said I will publish the first chapter on 1st of May, but I think I might be busy that time so I'm publishing it today (26th April). Hope you guys like this chapter and will continue looking forward to the next one. I'm really sorry if there are alot of grammar mistakes. I promise I will do better next time.
