Chapter Ten: Royal Engagement

In the morning I grab my luggage and go downstairs. James is waiting with a car, looking a little tired. I don't know which of us needs this vacation more. A protection officer helps put my luggage in the car.

"Thanks." I said walk around and enter the car.

''Good morning.'' James said.

"Good morning." I said giving him a side hug as
James drops a quick kiss on my forehead.

"Are you still sleepy?" James asked.

"A little bit." I answered.

''We'll sleep on the plane.'' He said.

I nodded.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"Santorini." James answered.

"We're going to Greece?" I asked.

"Yes, we are. I know much you've talked about always wanting to travel there." James answered.

"Awe, thank you for remembering." I said.

"You're welcome." He said.

When we arrive to the hotel, I'm once again impressed. The room James picked for us is massive, exuding wealth and comfort. I eye the massive stone fireplace, wanting nothing more than to curl up on the couch in front of it with James.

Our room wad white-washed, cave-style suite with a secluded terrace, with incredible views.

Santorini is famous as one of the most romantic islands in the world, and arguably the most enchanting of all the Greek Isles. 

It was a true beauty.

We were staying at the luxury Mystique, set atop a cliff overlooking the Santorini caldera.

"What do you think" James asked.

"I love it, I should definitely thank you for all of this." I answered.

Both of us eye the bed.  I turn in his arms, leaning up to gently cradle his face in my hands, ''Thank you for this trip.'' I said.

''I figured you needed some time away, to just forget and relax.'' He smiles. ''Besides, I wanted some time to you all by myself.'' He said.

"Nicole, can you make me more popcorn please?" Danica asked.

"Sure, sweetie." Nicole answered as I got up and walked into the kitchen.

"Dad, do you have the ring on you?" Danica asked.

"Of course, I do." I answered.

"Are you proposing tonight?" Danica asked.

"Yes, I'm just nervous." I answered.

"Don't worry, I got your back, dad." Danica said.

"Thank you, sweetie." I said, smiling.

"What are you two talking about?" Nicole asked as she entered the living room with more popcorn in the bowl.

"Nothing." Danica and I both said at the same time.

Nicole smiled at us before taking a seat next to me and I pecked her cheek.

I grabbed her hands and brought them into my lap, playing with her fingers.

The three of us sat in silence.

Not the uncomfortable kind of silence; the kind of silence that said you were just content being in each other’s presence.

Three of us were staring at the screen.

"Dad." Danica said.

"I know." I said.

While I was staring at the screen, I suddenly spoke up, “I love you, Nicole.” I said.

"James, I love you too." Nicole said.

Nicole looked over at me and smiled.

I got up and got down on one knee in front of her, blocking her view of the screen.

"Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, Darling, some things are just meant to be. I am one thousand percent sure that we are. You’ve taken my heart, my life, my soul and you’ve filled it with so much love and happiness. I don’t think I could go a day with out you, without your smile,” his voice almost  cracks but he goes on “without your adorable laugh, I just wouldn’t make it in this world without you. You’ve love my daughter as your own. You've taken to my little sister as if she was your own little sister and you have made a sad castle, a now happy one. I just… I can’t help but fall in love with you a little deeper each day and I want to give you my life, forever. I promise to do everything I only can to be a perfect match for you and to become a husband you deserve. I want to become your happily-ever-after, and I will do my best for your incredible smile to never fade. You are the greatest and the most precious gift given to me by this life, so I wish the whole world knew about my infinite and limitless love for you. Nicole, will you marry me?” James asked.

Nicole let out a sob and nodded her head. She threw her body against mine while I laughed.

Danica was clapping.

“Yes.” Nicole answered.

I stand up, and slides the ring onto Nicole's finger. Nicole hugs me.

"I love you, Nicole." I whispered.

"I love you too, James." Nicole whispered.

Nicole leans back and kisses me passionately.

"I'M ENGAGED!" Nicole's voice screamed over the phone. Brie held it away from her ear, but she was smiling so hard it almost cracked her face in two.

"He really did it," Bryan grinned. "Good for him."

"Brie, did you hear me?!" Nicole yelled.

"I heard you! Oh, honey we're so happy for you!" Brie cried back. They squealed a little longer before hanging up. Brie turned to Bryan, smiling but with tears in her eyes.

"What's wrong?" Bryan asked.

"I just...Nicole is finally getting her happy ending." Brie sniffled.

Bryan pulled her into a hug. He felt the same way, not that he'd ever admit to her, but he was happy for Nicole and James. He knew their love story would be the greatest one yet, and he was thrilled to be a part of it.

Harry and Meghan are asleep in bed. Harry wakes up as his phone starts to beep, and checks the screen to see a text message from James that reads Cover your ears!

Meghan's cell phone rings.

"Hello?" Meghan asked sleepily.

Nicole screams from the other end.

"WE'RE ENGAGED!" Nicole exclaimed.

"Oh my god!" Meghan exclaimed as she starts screaming.

Nicole is screaming into her phone. James is standing nearby, ears covered. James looks down to see a text message from Harry that reads, Thanks a lot!

James replies back, You're welcome.

"His Majesty The King of Borduria is delighted to announce his engagement. His Majesty King James and Ms Nicole Colace became engaged in Freitas earlier this month. The wedding will take place in the autumn of 2019 at St George's Cathedral in Freitas, with further details to be announced in due course."

"The engagement ring is a 3.78 carat oval-cut ring set in platinum."

His Majesty King James of Borduria announces his engagement to American Nicole Garcia-Colace at a press conference at Greensburg Castle in Apalen.

Later that day, King James of Borduria and Nicole Garcia-Colace appeared on the balcony of the Greensborg castle to wave to crowds of well-wishers, along with Crown Princess Danica and Princess Leona, and Nicole’s mother and stepfather.

In the evening, King James and Nicole Garcia -Colace hosted a Gala Dinner in honour of the engagement at Greensburg Castle, where Crown Princess Danica, Princess Leona, and members of Nicole’s family were also in attendance.

Nikki Bella officially announces retirement from WWE

After making her big comeback to WWE last year, it looks like Brie Bella is finally ready to call it a career.

The announcement was made after the announcement of her engagement to His Majesty The King of Borduria, King James.

Her twin sister, Brie Bella announced her retirement a few months ago.

So, it is official the Bella Twins are retired for good from WWE.
