Both Derek and Nikki walked forward where they heard a door open. In the doorway the shadow of a man could be seen, nothing more.

"Well? Hurry up!" He barked at them, and they both scurryed through the door. Instantly something was thrust into Nikki's hands.

Her eyes widened once she realized what it was, She was given a gun, and Derek a knife.

Their heads snapped up once the man spoke once again. "Follow me."

The obeyed, fearing if they didn't, something much worse would happen. Soon they were both pushed into a dark room, only the torches on the wall lighting the room.

Nikki could feel the sweat collecting on her palms, making the gun in her hands slippery.

The door slammed shut behind them and the only thing Nikki could hear was her heart thumping around wildly in her chest.

Suddenly, the same voice came on over the intercom, "Fight till only one stands."
