starlight

forgot the lights
shining at her
wobbling high heels

that she was a human
that feels
that she was just as
lost
as everyone else

because being
misunderstood
is not hard in a world
where everyone stands up
with the wrong foot

because
perhaps her story
is not as senseless
as she thought
and she just needed
the right one
listening to her
explaining
how she fought

and maybe one day
she'll realise
there was only one person
she'd had to make happy
