AN: Ayyy I got lazy so I desided to stop putting 'Run' in the title of each chapter I'm sorry if that makes anyone a bit triggered but TO LATE NOW! Anyways, hope you're liking it so far! Enjoy!

Jeno watched blankley as the others attempted to complete there first task of training:

Loading a basic Assault Rifle.

He took note of how each of there personalities were reflected in the simple task. Mark got it first, most likley he had experience from EXO. Haechan got it next and again Jeno figured he must have other experience since he had already been in the gang when Jeno, Jaemin and Renjun joined. After a while of fidgeting Renjun managed to get it and last was Jisung who was about to give up before Mark leaned over to help him. They said Jeno didn't need to practice because he was already fimiliar with AR's but Jeno knew the real reason:

They were scared of him.

Jeno the murderer.

Some title.

He felt the fimiliar mixture of dread and regret form a pit in his stomach and he looked around for the one person who never failed to calm him down.

He was looking for Jaemin.

And it was only then that he realized Jaemin was gone along with Kyungsoo. He looked over to Kun and Yuta who were playing cards at a table while the other's trained the teenagers. He pushed himself off the wall and walked over to the table.

"Uno!" Yuta yelled. Kun tilted his head.

"Umm.. Yuta.. We're playing poker.."

"Oh.." Kun looked up from his cards as Jeno approached them. His gaze softened.

"What is it Jeno?" He asked. Jeno crossed his arms.

"Where's Kyungsoo?"

"Outside where you were the other night." Yuta said, scratching his chin and staring at his cards in confusion.

"And where's Jaemin?" Yuta stayed silent.

"I don't know Jeno.. Maybe he just-" Kun said standing from his spot at the table and walking over to Jeno with a sigh. "Maybe he went out and is having a bit of trouble from that dog Kyungsoo mentioned. You should go out for him." He suggested. Jeno shook his head.

"I can't.. I fear I'm the reason he left so me going after him does us no good..."

"Then I bet he'll be back... It's not easy out there.." Yuta laughed a bit.

"Yeah tell that to Doyoung-"

"WILL YOU ALL PLEASE SHUT UP ABOUT DOYOUNG! He realized his mistake and came back! Just leave him BE!" Kun snapped back, storming off to god knows where. Yuta's eyes widened a bit.

"Sheesh.. Chill..." He muttered. He looked at Jeno. "I suggest to avoid trouble you just wait for him to get-" Just as Yuta was finishing, Jeno heard a shuffling noise from the direction of the door. He turned and felt anger surge through him. Jaemin looked up as he approached.

"Where the fuck have you been!"

Jaemin blinked blankly at Jeno.

"Wherever I wanted to be. You can't control me Jeno." Jaemin said. As he spoke, Jeno could smell alcohol in his breath and when he walked past Jaemin he smelled cigarette smoke clinging to the boys clothes. But he didn't stop Jaemin from walking away. Regret, anger, and saddness filled his mind. He shook his head and began to head towards the small balcony where he had sat the other day.

When he got there he remembered why he hadn't gone up there earlier. Kyungsoo was standing watching the horizon with a worried gaze. He turned to look at Jeno as he arrived and his expression turned to relief when he saw Jeno.

"What is it?" Jeno said, raising a brow.

"I just- I like your presence.. It makes me feel safer. It makes me feel like no matter what he does, my brother can never hurt me." He turned back to the horizon and for a moment he reminded Jeno of Taeyong, who always looked out at the skyline with such purpose, as if searching for something that has been lost for a long time. He shook his head and sat against the wall, sighing a bit as he did. The breeze was a bit stronger then it had been the last couple days as it whipped across his face.

"Winter is almost here.." He muttered before drifting to sleep.
