Kyungsoo dragged his feet as he made his way back to the warehouse. He had gone out to find Chanyeol because Jaemin suggested getting all the information possible before Chanyeol found out he was apart of Neo Tech. He had unfortunately failed as his brother was nowhere to be seen. But as he aproached the building where his friends were, he heard 2 familiar voices.

"Why did you want me?"

"Well you see, I simply wanted to tell you that I think you should reconsider."

"Reconsider what?"

"Your desision on which side is right. Think about it, the government is wrong. The one place we are weakest is in our emotions. Without empathy, we would be better! No more fighting because of love, no more hesitation to complete a task out of fear, the world would be perfect!.. And, there wouldn't be any abusive fathers or murderous boyfriends.."

"He's not my boyfriend, he might as well be my brother... But you have a point..." There was a long pause of silence and Kyungsoo heard the shuffling of feet.

"Just remember Jaemin, we all watch the same sunset, it's the angle we see it from that makes the difference, and you're not turning around to see the other angle." Kyungsoo's eyes widened and he started to walk again, a little qiucker this time. As he was about to enter the warehouse, a fimiliar figure appeared from around the corner. He smiled.

"Any luck finding your brother?" Jaemin asked. Kyungsoo balled his hands into fists and fought the urge to do something. To keep from saying the wrong thing, he shook his head no, and walked in ahead of Jaemin without hesitation. He had to tell Jeno.

He walked in and looked around. His eyes fell on Jeno who was leaning against the wall, discussing something with.. No one? Confused, he walked over.

"- it all just seemed a little suspicious. I'm not saying-" Jeno stopped talking as he noticed Kyungsoo approaching with an urgent look in his eyes. "Hang on Taeyong, I'll call you back." He reached up and pressed a button on a small black disk in his ear that Kyungsoo hadn't even noticed.

"What's wrong?" Kyungsoo hesitated. He could feel a pair of eyes burning into the back of his skull, and he didn't even need to turn to know it was Jaemin.

"Um... I'm sorry I left without warning.. I was going out to buy more food. I couldn't get any but on my way back I heard something..." Jeno raised a brow.

"What was it?"

"Um... A dog! A stray dog. Just, be careful. It ran away but it might be viscous." He finished quickly and walked off. Maybe he should have told him. But then he remembered Jaemin and what might happen if he exposed the boy. He would just have to let whatever his brother was planning happen.

Besides, what could they do to stop him?

Jaemin sighed and rolled over for the god-knows-how-many-th time that evening. He couldn't sleep as Chanyeol's words rang in his head.

Maybe Chanyeol was right.

Maybe he needed to see this matter from a different angle.

As he ran over all the details in his head the first time, he went over them in the way they had been originally thought:

The government wants to stop empathy but that's a bad thing because that means no emotion.

Then he thought of it a different way. The way Chanyeol was thinking of it:

The government wants to get rid of empathy because it will get rid of our emotions and dreams which is good because that means we won't have to deal with things like love and the consequences that accompany it. It would get rid of all emotions including jealousy, anger, sadness, envy, all gone and forgotten. No more murder or hurting eachother.

Just soulless machines.

Jaemin sat up abruptly and shook himself from his thoughts.

He had to talk to Chanyeol.
