Welcome to brand new episode of “On The Couch With Ria Fernandus”. Today we are airing our Valentine’s Day special with a very lovely couple, prominent business tycoon Shivay Singh Oberoi and his gorgeous wife and actress, Annika Shivay Singh Oberoi.

SHIVAY & ANNIKA :

HOST:

So, can I call you both our secret couple? No one had a clue about your relationship until you took twitter to announce it.

ANNIKA :

(Smiles) We didn’t want to grab any limelight to us. We wanted to be like a normal couple only.

HOST:

But even your wedding was a secret.

SHIVAY:

Not secret, just private. We wanted to marry in the presence of our family and friends. We didn’t want media attention.

HOST:

Can you please give us at least some details of the wedding?

ANNIKA:

It was a very simple wedding that happened in his hometown. We did everything in typical Hindu tradition with all rituals involved.

SHIVAY:

We had a reception here in Mumbai for friends who were not able to join us there and we did release pictures of it.

HOST:

Yeah, but we are only curious to know about your wedding, as all we got was a glimpse from what Mrs.Oberoi and your sister Niki posted on the net. Speaking of Niki, you have a director in the family along with an actor.

SHIVAY:

I was not really shocked when Niki told me that she wanted to be a director. She was always inclined towards TV and movies. She is really doing well. Her short film has won many awards and I am proud of her.

HOST:

Is it true that you will be working with your sister in law soon?

ANNIKA :

Ha Ha! I will, if she offers me any role. As all know I have taken a long break from acting after Dillagi. Yes, I did a dance reality show...

HOST (interrupts) :

And won it...

ANNIKA :

Yeah, won it (grins). So, I was too busy with family and other commitments then, but now I think I am ready to work again if good scripts come my way.

HOST :

Why this long break of four years?

SHIVAY:

You will not be asking this if you know how naughty our son Adarsh is (laughs)

ANNIKA :

Yeah...(Smiles)

HOST :

I have an idea we already halted the shoot a couple of times as junior Oberoi wanted his parents’ attention (laughs)

ANNIKA :

He is quiet demanding. So, all my energy is spent on him. But now he is three and soon he will be joining school. So, maybe then I can come back to acting.

HOST :

That is awesome news. Your fans are going to enjoy seeing you again on screen.

ANNIKA:

Hope so

HOST:

SHIVAY:

After a kid you cannot have romantic plans for yourself. So, we will now go home and try to make junior sleep then maybe we will have a date or something (Looks at Annika smiling)
