A/N: This chapter will begin with a flashback that will be italicized and will have flashbacks throughout.
"I get it." I shrugged as he tightened the restraints around my wrists. "I really do." I looked up at his innocently. "I messed up your plan once and now you want to teach me a lesson." I sighed. "Show him how easy it is to lose his queen." I said calmly. "God, Todd, do you realize how childish that is?" I laughed. "You're still holding a grudge from two years ago. So you blindly followed a man who offered you what you wanted. A chance to hurt the girl who rejected you and hurt your ego."
"Shut up." Todd demanded.
"Got a rejection problem? See I told you I get it, Todd." I said with a smirk. "I mean look where family got me." I motioned around the room. "I'm locked up because my vary existence threatened a man's carreer." I lost it and started to giggle. "Isn't that strange? My own father locked me away, for being born."
"Shut it, crazy chick, before I duck tape your mouth." Jimmy tried to sound intimidating but failed miserable.
"And you, James," My eyes traveled behind Todd to where his goon stood. "You could have been a nice guy, but no you are just stupid." I paused and watched as his eyes widened. "Stupid enough to play a back up singer. To help kidnap a seventeen year old." I tilted my head to the side as Tod finished my binds. "How old are you now, Jim?"
"Nineteen, Miss." He answer politely.
"Well then," I sat down on the cot. "I suppose you know you can be tried as an adult, for you see, I am still very much a minor as you are an adult. You could go to jail for forty maybe even fifty years for kidnapping a minor." I told him.
Jimmy looked terrified now. He shook his head. "She's not right is she, Todd?" He asked his friend, his expression pleading.
I leaned back and watched as the drama started. Anyone got popcorn?
"Of course, she's lying, Jimmy, JJ wouldn't rat us out." Tod explained.
I scoffed. "If he can torture his own blood, do you really think he cares what happens to you two?"
"She's got a point." Jimmy sounded far away.
"Don't listen to her. She's insane, Jim, likes to get in people's minds and mess with 'em." Todd pushed his 'friend' toward the door. "Goodnight, Witch, see ya bright and early tomorrow." With that the cellar doors shut and the bolt went back in place. Silling me inside.
"Yo, Psyco, Breakfast!" Todd shouted, slamming the cellar doors.
"Shut it." I groaned.
He chuckled and slapped me across the face. "Wake up, or I'll let you starve."
I cursed and sat up. "I hate you." I growled. "Why are you here."
Todd smiled. "Good to see ya too." He began to undo the chains that bound me to this purgatory. "I've got news JJ is back in town and he can't wait to see you. So eat up, I'll be back in five to get you." Todd left not waiting for an answer.
I ate slowly, trying to figure out how I got from Phillip's room to the cellar. I guess some mysteries have to go unsolved. The thought of JJ being back sent chills through my body. I hadn't physically seen him since he threatened my friends lives.
Sure he haunted my dreams but seeing him in person was different. I was truly terrified of him, but he didn't know that. I'd never done anything to him to deserve this, but in his mind I did. I was born, and therefore I deserved punishment.
I sat in the kitchen, watching Janna and Chachi play through the window.
"Eleanor." A stern voice came ringing through the room.
"Yes, Mr. Jones?" I didn't turn to face him just continued to watch the kids.
"I know you found out the truth when you went to your parents hearing early this month." His voice was hard and cold.
"Yes, I do." I turned around. "I know everything."
"So you know I really don't want you here then?" He said.
"I know you never have." I replied. "But I also know it's my right to be here."
"You have no right, Eleanor, you-"
I cut him off. "Oh, but I do. I probably have more right than you." I stated.
"More right than me? You have no right." Jackson said.
"I have every right. You robbed me of my family! You sent me to live in a different country with strangers. You are the reason I grew up in lies." My voice rose as I spoke. I felt like crying or pushing him. "You took my life away from me."
I shuttered at the mermory, closing my eyes as the scene played on.
"I sent you to live with your father whete you belonged." He countered.
"Please coldhearted, workaholic Gregory Bates who cared nothing for his children. The same man you hated all throughout school, but yet to save your reputation you sentenced a little girl to her downfall."
"I did what I had to for my family, and you will not mess that up, do you understand me." He warned.
I shook my head. "I don't have to take orders from you." I said. "You're not one of my parents and you never will be." I turned on my heels and headed for the back door.
"You know, she never really forgave me for what I did." He sighed. "Jane really loved you. She even went behind my back and collected pictures of you all your life."
I felt the tears about to burst. "I will not let you rule anymore, Mr. Jones. I will know my family."
"Let's go!" Todd's loud voice shattered through my thoughts. He jerked me up harshly.
"You know my feet aren't tied." I remarked.
"Yeah, but it was fun." Tod seemed so satisfied. "Now if you would, it's time to face the devil."
