Love is not a reality
I immediately skated to the kitchen, then placing the tray back onto the counter. I took off my skates, putting on my shoes. I placed my skates into my backpack, then pushing the back foot of the restaurant. I heard pots and pans falling down from the kitchen, hearing squeaky shoes against the tiled floor. Todoroki..
I have to make an end to this.
"What do you want Todoroki?" I said, gripping my backpack straps, as I looked up to the taller male.
"Look, say no more, you've made my day worse..." I added, looking at the puddles.
"Izuku... can you just listen for once?" He said with a rough but soft voice.
Todoroki put a grip onto my shoulders, as he grit his teeth.
"Everything is a lie. You know that... I won't say this again." He started.
"You—"
"Stop talking and just listen Midoriya."
"We've been friends ever since the fight at the festival..."
Todoroki grabbed my chin, making my eyes shift towards him.
"Why would you think I'd abandon a friend like you, huh?"
"I-I..."
"What was in that envelope you wanted to give me?" He asked, reaching into his pocket, getting the envelope from today.
I felt like I couldn't breathe at all. I felt the walls close in from my view. I'm not supposed to be here when he's supposed to open it!
"Todoroki... don't r-read it!" I said, waving my hands.
Too late..
He opened it, unfolding the letter open.
Todoroki whispered what it said to himself. He came to a sudden stop, his jaw flying open slightly. I came to think that love isn't the best to go through in high school. I know. Love isn't a reality when you're a teenager. It gets in your way of your education. What was I thinking all of a sudden? Oh yeah.. I'm just a quirky little nerd. I was busy in my thoughts when Todoroki crumbled up the letter, keeping quiet.
"I didn't know..." he said, then some of his hair land onto his eyes.
"Why didn't you tell me in the first place Midoriya?" He asked, getting close to me.
"Well what do you think? You + Momo= Relationship...RING A BELL TO YOU?!" I yelled at his face.
I feel sorry but I'm just lost right now. I'm loosing my shit.
"Look don't play dumb Todoroki... you know it. Stop acting so innocent! It doesn't work! We're both 18! Almost 19! Don't toy with my feelings, it hurts a lot y'know?! Now excuse me.. I have better things to do than waste my breath here on you.." I said, my hands forming into fist, tears running down my face. Just when I was about to walk away, he pushed me against the wall roughly. I felt the cold shiver down my back.
"Get off me!" I demanded.
He said nothing.
"Please get off!" I asked politely.
Nothing.
Todoroki leaned close to my face, then grabbing my hips, pulling me into a hug. I felt his warmth boost up a bit. Todoroki rested his chin against my shoulder.
"I'm sorry... I'm a bad person.... I want to make it up to you..." he said, as I felt some snow flakes brush against my shoulder.
"Todoroki..."
"Please?" He begged.
I've never seen this side of Todoroki.I always thought of him as a serious, loyal, principled person. But look at him now. I patted his back gently, then massaging his bi-colored hair.
"Just let me leave.. I need to catch up on things.. I'll think about it..." I said, pulling away from him.
"Let's call it a night..." I added.
He nodded, then hugging me one last time.
I waved bye, as I walked away.
What a night...
