As I took step for step, heart heavy with sorrow, soul drowning in seething sensation sanctioned by cruel words, liquid lines traced down my face.

Without second thought I lifted my head to the heavens, eyes swollen, chest in knots.

In search of clarity, redemption from a state of lost sanity, I opened my soul to the energy of the Higher Power.

Emptiness filled the hollowness that was my being, a loving loneliness.

In that moment, an unfamiliar compulsion overwhelmed my senses, as a host of the heavens made Itself one with my frequency.

It told me, "fear not child of the Divine, for God was alone for an eternity."

In that moment, I knew, I was complete.
