there's a girl turning into a woman

a nice, intelligent woman who know a lot of things people probably don't know

yet, all they can see is her skin--her dark skin--the one thing that always be with her since the day one

telling her to apply whitening on her skin is what people do, not a 'congratulation' for her achievement today

tired with what people say, she started to use whitening like what they say, apply more make up on her face to look more beautiful because that's what's people expect from her

yet, no one said she's beautiful, all they say how fake she looks like

hating the skin that always be her friend since she was born is the only thing that she feels now
