strawhat_pirate here! So I finally got back into the account. For anyone who doesn't know, an individual did join the account as a member and they changed our recovery email as well as our password, locking us all out. I figured out who it was immediately and messaged them. Today, they responded and apologized, and handed over the account! 

All the stories are safe. Nothing was deleted, although a lot of things were unpublished and now sit in drafts.

Obviously, we won't be taking new members for a while. Some of the members who were already in the village before may not even get back in. We're locking up tight this time around. Only people I know well will be allowed in currently, and I'm not even going to consider new members until 2019. There are a few exceptions to this rule.

To start off, I would like to thank everyone who stayed with us on this and who supported us in getting the account back. It means so, so much, and your support was so overwhelming it brought a few of the members to tears during the stressful two days that their stories and hard work were in danger.

I would like to thank Define_My_Reality for her help. When we weren't sure what was going to happen, she copied twenty-six full stories and emailed them to me. Twenty-six. She was so helpful, nice and comforting about the whole thing. If she wants a place in the village, she can most definitely have one. She spent so much time helping us. She has mine, and everyone else's, utmost appreciation. Please go follow her and drop a word of thanks on her conversation board! 

EncodedGlitch also didn't hesitate to offer their help in retrieving as much as Just Imagine as they could. They have some amazing art on their page, so please, go check that out. 

Thank you AFangirlGoddess606 for trying your hardest to get into the account! Your efforts, and your comfort memes, were much appreciated. You're always welcome back into the village. Drop a thank you for them, as they worked hard and picked their brain to try and figure out how to get into the village.

Thank you LuckyMagicBelle for retrieving Freckle Face! Your efforts were so appreciated and I actually almost cried at the overwhelming support. this_delusion also helped get this book, and she also screenshotted Knights of The New Dawn. Go show both of them some much-deserved love as well! 

ArisuKai777, your story Sand Siblings Older Sister is very much safe, and your screenshotting was very much appreciated! 

Tsukiko_nanahara also retrieved both Just Imagine and The Knights of the New Dawn, which is so greatly appreciated, and I thank you so much. They too have a story on their page, so go drop by and give them some love. 

HingYiHuang offered many times to screenshot stories. I, unfortunately, wasn't on at the right times or was too distracted to notice her efforts and comforts. It means so much that you'd offer to spend your time like that, and I thank you so much. 

If you were not mentioned, it's not because you weren't appreciated. It's two in the morning and my inbox is full of amazing readers who worked so, so hard to make all of us feel better and get the stories. I would also like to thank two of our villagers, BannaYello and sugadaish who got all the stories that weren't backed up. Yes, they retrieved every single story nobody had claimed to have screenshotted.

Firestorm_the_cat, we shared your anger as we watched our stories and hard work go down the drain. None of us were sure if it was begin deleted or just unpublished, so your support was so welcome and I'm so glad for it. Thank you! 

HaiToSenpai, thanks loads my dude! We did get the account back, and trust me, we were pretty pissed at first. Then we were just sad, you know? Either way, thank you for your support, and we're so happy we've gotten the account back! 

__SuccADicc__, your words actually encouraged me to continue working to gather more information on the person doing this, and thanks to you, I actually found their name and such! Thank you for your encouraging words!

PoisonHart98, thank you for your support. I'm so glad it go sorted out just as you had hoped, and your message was received and very much appreciated. 

I also thank everyone who messages this account, publicly and privately, to try and convince the one who took over to give the village back! Ex12 and I eventually got in contact, and I promised not to hunt down their address and to leave them alone and drop this so long as they gave the password back and surrendered the account as a whole. They were very sorry, and didn't know what had gotten into them. That doesn't mean it was right or that I'm okay with it, but their apology and willingness to give the password back was much appreciated. Thank you everyone who stood by us and watched for updates on what was going on, and spent time lurking around and researching to try and figure out what they could!

And to confirm, ALL the stories are okay! Some were simple unpublished, but they're fine! The only thing I can't find is the old rules book, but that isn't much of a loss. Thank you all, again!
