While Ichigo began to apologise, Orihime was climbing the stairs to the roof, wondering where Rukia had gotten to. She opened the door and the scene that was playing out before her shocked her so much that she almost fell over. Rukia was right up in Ichigo's face yelling at him, and he was yelling back, their faces were only inches apart. Everyone had backed away for some reason, was it to give them space? No, that didn't matter, she had to stop this at once!

"W-what's going here?!" Orihme shouted from the door way.

The noise died down and Rukia stopped fighting with Ichigo. "Orihime! Ichigo's so rude, I just wanted to give him a gift I made in art class to say thank you for helping me, but he called it ugly and threw it off the roof!"

Orihime sighed off relief, nothing was going on here, it was just a misunderstanding. Ichigo rose to his defence at once, "It was ugly and I didn't do it in purpose!"

"You did too!" Rukia snapped back at him.

"Did not!"

Orihime didn't know what to do. She wanted her friends to stop fighting, and she was jealous of how close Rukia was getting to Ichigo.

Rukia got up and stormed away from Ichigo, "let's go, Orihime!"

Orihime sighed, she wanted to stay with Ichigo more, and maybe even eat lunch with him. But, with Rukia so angry that option was out of the question.

"O-okay... lets go I guess.."

The two left a dumbfounded Ichigo rubbing his sore jaw after Rukia had punched it. Ichigo new he couldn't leave it at this,

Something had to be done.
