T H I R T Y - N I N E:
the dangers of love
"Not even Barry's or Bibiana's cells can move this fast," Caitlin said, looking at the sample Barry brought. Bibiana looked at the cells and thought of PMAT and Mitosis. Prophase, Metaphase, Anaphase, Telophase. Good old freshman biology. "I've never seen anything like it."
"There are probably reasons for that," Bibiana commented, taking a slow sip of her Dr. Pepper. The best doctor to go to when you're thirsty.
"So Clay Parker is a metahuman?" Joe asked, ignoring the look on Bibiana's face. Her face had a look of excitement at the mention of someone having the last name Parker. The love for Marvel is something that gives her excitement and joy. Of course, she didn't like watching the Spider-man movies. Because of the icky spiders, but she did love Peter Parker.
"Not so fast," Dr. Wells said. "The particulate residue that Barry gathered at Iron Heights does contain Clay Parker's DNA but also DNA of a woman."
"And obviously it couldn't have been me," Bibiana noted. This time she had a witness aka her younger brother. There was also the fact that she wouldn't break someone out of Iron Heights unless she had a valid reason.
"Run her DNA against the C.C.P.D. criminal database," Barry told the three people at the triple computers. Bibiana set down her drink and started to run her fingers through her long hair. "See if you get a match."
"Yahtzee," Cisco said after a few seconds. "Her name's Shawna Baez. Mostly petty crimes and this girl like to party, apparently. A long list of disorderly conducts at local bars."
"So I'm guessing we find her, we find Clay Parker. Barry?" Joe said, taking notes of what Cisco said. He pointed his pen towards the doors behind him.
"Yeah," Barry answered.
"In the meantime, let's track these particulates and see how they work," Dr. Wells said.
"They work like this character from this book I read," Bibiana said, referring to the Red Queen. One of her favorite New Bloods was the brother of Mare, who could also control electricity.
"I'll be right with you guys," Cisco said, getting up and leaving the cortex.
"You do you," Bibiana answered, starting to start her work.

"Okay, bye," Bibiana said into her phone. Kai had called her since he was freaking out over an exam. "Just take my advice and you'll get through it."
"Thanks, Bibi," Kai said with a relaxed sigh. "I'll see if I can Facetime you again tonight."
Bibiana heard the line end. She pulled her phone away from her ear as a smile was painted on her lips. The feeling of talking often with her younger brother was wonderful. If only she could do that with the rest of the Solace family. Or her dad's side of the family, which were visited once a year. [Her dad took her mom's last name.]
The girl shook her head while entering the cortex. The thought of reconnecting with her family and fixing the little ruins in them seemed impossible. From the moment she rejected the Army, she had basically rejected her family. It wasn't something she intended to do, but it had happened.
"There's an armed robbery in progress," Caitlin announced. From on the phone with her brother to the suit chamber was how Bibiana's ten minutes went. "Two suspects. Male and female. In their 20s. Sounds like our metahuman Bonnie and Clyde are at it again."
Bibiana walked out of her suit chamber. Suited up and ready to bring on a storm of electricity.
"Time to ruin their social life," Barry said, turning to Caitlin.
"Totally feel like I missed something here," Electric Storm said. With a shrug of her shoulders, she was in the electrical systems.

The girl in purple appeared in front of a woman. It appeared that the lady was ready to escape from the scene. The Flash arrived a second after her just when Shawna looked up.
"Oh, I've read about you two," Shawna said. "You're the Flash and Electric Storm." The two heroes had a smile on their faces as they stood before her. "I've heard you're fast and you're sparky. Let's see if it's true."
In a flash, Shawna disappeared and appeared behind them. Electric Storm quickly turned around to see Shawna.
"Catch me if you can," Shawna said. The Flash ran quickly and wrapped his arms around Shawna from behind.
"I can," The Flash said. Electric Storm walked towards them but took off running when Shawna hit the Flash. The villain disappeared. The two heroes looked at the tower and saw Shawna up there. "You've got to be kidding me."
The Flash took off running after Shawna. Electric Storm let out a sigh before she turned into pure electricity.

"What the...?" Bibiana groaned, sitting up. Her eyes fluttered opened and found herself in the middle of nowhere. At night. All that was there was an electrical post.
The girl's eyes narrowed at her surrounding. How did she get there? She clearly remembered trying to catch Shawna. Bibiana pressed on her earpiece.
"Come in S.T.A.R. Labs," Bibiana said, standing up. "Can you get a location on me?"
There wasn't an answer. It appeared that she wouldn't have help from her friends.
"Oh great," Bibiana complained. "I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere!"
Electric Storm looked at the electrical post. Her body turned into electricity and went into the wires. A few seconds later she was shot out of it. She made it a good hundred yards away.
"Something isn't right," Bibiana mumbled. Her eyes caught the sight of Central City and it looked really far away. "I should really consider running."

Barry was freaking out. He hasn't seen Bibiana since they encountered Shawna. Everyone had assured him that she probably had to do something else. She had done that once before but never when it came to a metahuman.
He had entered Bibiana's new apartment to gather some clues. After being hit on and dealing with a drunk Caitlin. Barry just wanted to see his girlfriend, watch movies with her, eat ice cream, and cuddle.
The twenty-five-year-old almost tripped over a body if he didn't catch himself. His eyes caught the sight of Bibiana unmoving body covered in dirt.
"W-water," Bibiana whispered. Barry quickly put Bibiana on the couch and got her a glass of water. He gave the glass to the girl who took small sips.
"What happened?" Barry asked. The girl in her purple suit took another sip but a small spark of her electricity caught onto it. Her body was being electrocuted while Barry jumped up in surprise.
The glass of water fell out of her hands, crashing onto the floor into pieces of glass. Bibiana's body went limp showing that she had passed out.
"Bibiana!" Barry shouted. He shook the girl's body but he wasn't getting a response.
