the ideals of fries

"Five more minutes," Bibiana mumbled into her pillow. She had decided to take her third nap on her day off. Her phone had multiple calls and messages from S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry, Caitlin, and Cisco.

"We have to go now," Barry stated.

Bibiana covered her head with her blanket. The girl had regretted telling Barry where she kept the spare key hidden. She was wide awake when she found herself in S.T.A.R. Labs in her Stitch onesies.

"I'm going to go and change," Bibiana said. She left the room and had returned to S.T.A.R. Lab's sweatpants and a grey shirt.

"Anger, hate, aggression," spoke Dr. Wells, when Bibiana entered the cortex.

"All the feelings I have for Barry at the moment," Bibiana muttered, stuffing her pajamas into a duffle bag.

"A Jedi craves not these things," Cisco tried to imitate Yoda. Bibiana sat down and Cisco looked at her surprised. "No one is feeling that quote?"

"I was forced out of bed without being fed," Bibiana replied.

"Everyone in the bank went total savage for like five minutes," Barry explained. Bibiana connected it with the alarm she saw on her phone earlier. She hadn't been to a bank in a while. The girl never trusted the bank ever since she heard of the Great Depression. "And then they were fine again."

"Anger can be a powerful emotion," Dr. Wells stated. "If this metahuman can engender irrational feelings of anger in his victims. He can do a lot of damage."

"Detective West helped me get a copy of the CAT scans the hospital did on everyone at the bank. Take a look," Caitlin explained, after plugging in the flash drive. Bibiana looked at the screen and saw the scans of brains.

"Look at this. The emotion center of the brains are still showing signs of being overwhelmed," Dr. Wells pointed out.

Bibiana's stomach grumbled in hunger. Her eyes landed on the takeout bag on Cisco's desk. The boy was not going to be happy with her.

"Particularly the area that controls executive function," Caitlin explained. "That's the part that stops from doing whatever random and potentially destructive things that pops into their heads."

"Like stealing my food," Cisco said, pointing at Bibiana. The girl swallowed the food and smiled. She was caught trying to feed herself.

"I was hungry," Bibiana responded.

"How do you think the meta does it to them?" Barry asked.

"That's the half-million-dollar question," Caitlin replied. Barry's phone went off, signaling a post from Iris.

"Hey, if you guys figure it out, just give me a call, okay?" Barry said, looking at his phone.

"Is the Flash off to another rooftop rendezvous with Iris?" Caitlin asked. Bibiana let out a burp.

"No," Barry replied. "Yeah, but she probably just wants to ask me-- I mean, you know, him-- about metahuman stuff for her blog."

"Electric Storm is going to go out to eat and buy Cisco more food," Bibiana stated. "She can't do the rooftop thing."

"Did you just refer to yourself in third-person?" Cisco asked.

"No," Bibiana replied, awkwardly.

"Do you want some advice?" Caitlin asked Barry.

"No matter what I say, I'm getting the advice, right?" Barry said.

"Don't get involved, as the Flash or yourself," Caitlin told him. "You don't wanna be the one to blame for their breakup."

"Okay, I hear you," Barry replied. He changed before he was off in a flash.

Bibiana went to her suit and was quickly changed. She walked out and Caitlin had a disappointed look.

"Where are you going?" Caitlin asked.

"I'm going out to eat, but I have a feeling it won't happen," Bibiana said.

The girl was wearing a flannel over the top of her suit and used the bottom half as leggings. Her mask was also off.

"Where are you?" Barry's voice filled Bibiana's ear.

"Take one right and a left from Jitters," Bibiana answered. She soon found herself in a warehouse as Electric Storm. Her actions were quick as she put a shield in front of her, protecting her and a cop from being shot.

Two arrows hit the cop who shot them. Bibiana turned and saw the Arrow.

"Nice mask," The Arrow told the Flash and Electric Storm. He did flips and left the building. Bibiana had a smile on her face. Some of her Starling City friends were in town.

"By the way, I gave Oliver like a half-hour head starts," Barry stated, setting down Bibiana. The girl power down her mask and smiled at Digg and Felicity who were eating Big Belly Burger.

"Barry even stopped so I could make a sign. I put it on Oliver's back," Bibiana added, taking some of Felicity's fries.

"Hi, Barry, Bibiana," Felicity greeted. She tried to smack Bibiana's hands away, but Bibiana shocked her.

"Hey, Felicity," Barry replied.

"Hello," Bibiana said with a smile. "How's it been, Digg?"

"You're fast. You're shocking," Digg stated, shocked.

"Did you guys not tell him about us?" Barry asked, wrapping an arm around Bibiana.

"Well, seeing is believing," Felicity stated. "Or drooling. Heh."

They were laughing until Oliver Queen finally arrived. Barry dropped his arm off of Bibiana.

"Hey. Thanks for showing up back there but we had that," Barry thanked.

"Uh-huh," Oliver said.

"I was getting ready to make my move," Barry added.

"What move? The one to the morgue?" Oliver asked. Bibiana laughed.

"Wait," Bibiana said, taking some of Digg's fries. "And continue."

"What are you guys doing in Central City?" Barry asked.

"Working on a case," Felicity answered.

"Not having your girlfriend eat my food," Digg said. Bibiana looked up from taking another french fries.

"We're not dating," Barry stated, quickly.

"He hasn't asked me that yet," Bibiana said. "We are flirting with each other and failing at it. But we do watch movies and eat ice cream together."

"Yes," Barry replied. "So the case?"

"Suspicious homicide in Starling City where the murder weapon is a boomerang," Felicity said. Barry took it out of the evidence bag.

"He must be Australian," Bibiana commented. "Ooo! Like from Phineas and Ferb!"

"Cool," Barry said. Everyone looked at him, causing him to set it down. "I mean, awful."

"I found traces of iron oxide on it," Felicity explained. "I know it's a long shot, but Central City has the highest concentration of iron oxide in the country."

"Flash Fact: Did you know Australian aboriginals used the boomerang to hunt," Barry said, backing up what Bibiana said earlier. "Mainly on kangaroo, which is a surprisingly low-fat source of--"

"Ahem," Oliver tried to get their attention, cutting Barry off. "We were following a lead when we heard the SWAT raid over the radio and I thought that I would come by, watch you two make your move."

"Then you had to have seen how I put that electrical shield up so fast," Bibiana pointed out, doing it in front of them.

"I had a cousin who got hit by lightning once. He just developed a stutter," Digg said.

"Huh," Barry replied. "Well, our team and us are going after a nasty metahuman who makes people angry."

"Cool," Felicity commented. "You can do that to Bibiana if you force her out of bed. I mean, awful."

"Someone did that to me today," Bibiana glared at Barry.

"Since you're here, why don't we team up?" Barry asked. "We help you find your boomerang man, you help find our super rageaholic."

"We'd love to," Felicity replied.

"No," Oliver said. "We'll handle our business and head home."

"The fastest way to find out about the boomerang is to sic S.T.A.R. Labs on it," Felicity said.

"Enough people know my secret identity," Oliver argued.

"Fine. I'll go. They already know who I am," Felicity said. Bibiana took it as the chance to finish her fries. "You can drop me off, and I will meet up with you later."

Bibiana gave Barry a look. He nodded his head before he took off with Felicity.

"Man, that's not freaking you out?" Digg asked Oliver. Then he saw Bibiana was still there.

"Let's go," Oliver said. "We got to drop this one off."

"This one has a name, Oliver," Bibiana responded, racing towards the motorcycle. "And I want to join you!"

"Then you're going with Digg," Oliver said.

"Diggle, we are about to bond," Bibiana smiled at John.
