E I G H T:
Sir. Ma'am.
There was a nice warm feeling when Bibiana took a sip of her coffee. Her eyes scanned the screen in front of her and shook her head. Gilmore Girls would be the death of her and her emotions.
"Fascinating. A metahuman that can manipulate poison gas," Dr. Wells said.
Bibiana logged out of her Netflix account and looked over the analysis. Barry had brought in evidence that the C.C.P.D. was investigating. He had also brought along Joe to help with the situation.
"Is it just poison gas or can he control all aerated substances?" Cisco asked.
"How is he able to formulate the connection? Is it physiological or psychological?" Caitlin asked.
"This individual can create a mental nexus using gaseous substances," Dr. Wells said.
"You mean connect gases on a molecular level? That's ridiculously cool," Cisco said.
"I just have one question in mind," Bibiana mumbled. She was going over the data in front of her. It would all be confusing to her if she didn't learn about all of it.
"They get excited over this stuff," Barry told Joe.
"You do too, Allen," Bibiana commented. It wasn't a secret that Barry was a geeky nerd. Which oddly reminded her of herself.
"The only thing I'm excited about is putting criminals behind bars," Joe said. "Except Iron Heights isn't exactly equipped to handle metahuman."
"This is why we have Bibiana," Cisco said. Everyone looked at the girl who had one question in mind. Instead, she asked another.
"What?" Bibiana asked.
"What you showed us a while back," Caitlin said. The question itself caused Bibiana's eyes widen. She couldn't make anything bigger than the device itself. There was also the question of where did everything come from.
"Oh no. No. No," Bibiana said. "It doesn't work like that. I tried it. It failed. I'll explain later."
"Well it's fortunate the ones you've encountered so far are no longer with us," Dr. Wells told Joe.
"Well unless we're planning on executing every super-criminal we stop you geniuses are gonna have to come up with someplace to hold them," Joe said.
"A metahuman prison. Sweet," Cisco commented.
"I can start coming up with equations and trials to make one that will keep everyone safe," Bibiana said, making a new document.
"Until we figure out a way to remove their powers," Dr. Wells added.
"There is one place here that might hold them until Bibiana makes the blueprints," Cisco said.
Everyone turned to face Cisco. Bibiana knew where it was and never wanted to face the thing she helped create and ruin her life. The pipeline took so much from her and facing it scared her.
"You can't be serious. We haven't been down there since-" Caitlin cut herself off. "It's cordoned off."
"Cisco is right," Dr. Wells said. "It could be modified to act as a makeshift prison."
"What could?" Barry asked. Bibiana got up and left for another room. She sat down on one of the rolling chairs and started to remember. The dark memories were coming back to her.
Rain soaked Bibiana's outfit, but she didn't mind. She had another one in S.T.A.R. Labs. Her attention was on her phone as they launched the accelerator. Once it was online, she smiled. All her hard work had finally paid off. She was crossing the parking lot when she noticed that coffee was escaping the cup. It was heading up.
A phone call soon followed. It was from Caitlin and something was wrong. Bibiana was about to take off running when a shock of electricity from her phone hit her. It was mixed in with the dark matter that alters her DNA. Pain and electricity affected every part of her. A scream escaped her lips and black had clouded her vision.
The small spark of purple electricity was a constant reminder for the girl. There was so much lost on that night. She had only embraced the horrible gift she received because of what Barry was doing. It was also the closest thing she could do to being like her father and mother. A daughter of military parents, following their steps in a different way. Protecting the country a different way.

"Bibiana." Lydia Solace hugged her daughter.
They had decided to meet at the mall because her parents needed to buy some things. The idea of her parents buying something from the mall made her wonder what it was. She was able to catch the sight of a Victoria Secret bag before she was pulled into a hug. There was now a traumatizing image stuck in her head.
"Good to see you, ma'am," Bibiana replied, hugging her mother back. She then turned to her dad and turned into a solider. She showed him respect before they both hugged. "Sir."
"Where's the food court in this place? A man can be hungry after a five-hour train ride," Chang Solace said.
"That will be a floor below with the Big Belly Burger, sir," Bibiana replied. "I'm sorry we had to meet up here but I needed to buy something, sir."
There was a small motion towards the white plastic bag filled with comics. Chang was able to catch the sight of a Captain America comic.
"I see you haven't changed. Lead the way, Solace," Bibiana's dad said.
The twenty-five-year-old girl led them to an elevator. On their way onto the said transportation, a man had shoved her out of his way. Bibiana shot him a death glare as he entered in with a lady.
"Can you hold that open for us, sir?" Bibiana asked, politely.
It was hard to be polite to a jerk since she was still used to Starling City's harsh ways. The doors simply closed without the man trying to keep them open.
"We are out there defending this country for them and they can't hold the door open. I sometimes wonder what happened to the people who respected their soldiers," Her father said.
"I do not know, sir. But we can take another elevator," Bibiana suggested.
They were about to turn around when she heard banging on the door. She reacted quickly and just dialed Barry's phone. They couldn't waste a second so Bibiana quickly removed the panel and hooked it up to her phone. She could hack into the system and have the doors open.
"Dad! Mom! Try and open the doors!" Bibiana yelled. She noticed that Barry didn't hang up so she quickly whispered. "Whoever is listening, someone's in trouble."
The three Solace were able to open the door. Inside laid a dead woman. Bibiana dumped her comics out of the bag and tore the plastic in half. Quickly she wrapped it around her hands and dragged the lady out of the elevator. She couldn't risk contaminating the evidence so she was very careful.
Bibiana wasn't a CSI but she did watch the show and Criminal Master Mind. She also had the basic knowledge that the woman wasn't shot or stabbed.
A crowd immediately surrounded them along with mall officers. Bibiana ignored them and tilted the head to see no sign of being strangled. They had to get a sample to see a cause of death. But that was Barry's job to do, not hers.
"Sir, ma'am, we need you get to move out of the way," an officer informed them. Bibiana got up and picked up her comics.
"There is no sign of being strangled, shot or stabbed wounds," Bibiana explained to the mall officer. "She hasn't been murdered that long ago and we witnessed a man walk in with her. He appears not to be there anymore. Please tell this to the C.C.P.D. cause I gotta pee."
While she was talking she had noticed a red streak. Quickly, she handed her things to her mother and ran after Barry. She followed him into a room or hallway and found him gasping on the floor. He appeared to be poisoned with some type of gas.
"Oh fuck, Barry," Bibiana cursed. She helped him up and quickly thought if something. "You need to go to S.T.A.R. Labs now or go so fast that you burn it off! Now!"
Barry took off running, leaving Bibiana with a frowned. She closed her eyes and tried to ignore everything that has happened. With careful breaths, she relaxed her body and opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was her electricity.
