date with a buzz kill

"Let's rock this," Bibiana Solace said, walking towards the door. Barry and Ray opened the double doors for Bibiana and Felicity. It was a nice gesture since they didn't know what to expect out of dinner.

"Thanks," Felicity thanked the guys.

"Thank you" Bibiana also thanked. They walked into the restaurant and saw Iris and Eddie. The girl quickly smiled at them, happy to spend time with her friends.

"Hey, guys," Felicity greeted. "Wow, Iris, check you out."

"I believe we all look amazing, ladies," Bibiana added. She fanned herself as a joke before stopping.

"Hi, Felicity. Bibiana," Iris greeted. They all greeted one another until it was time to introduce Ray.

"Guys, this is Ray Palmer," Felicity introduced them to her boyfriend.

"Hi. Nice to meet you," Ray greeted them. He shook Eddie's hand.

"Lovely to meet you," Eddie replied.

"Nice to meet you," Iris repeated.

The waiter arrived and started to speak in French. That left Bibiana completely confused about what he had said. French was not her language.

"Mr. Palmer, your table is ready," the waiter said with a thick French accent.

"Great. Shall we?" Ray asked Felicity.

"Yes," Felicity replied. Bibiana followed them while Iris hung back to ask Barry a question.

They arrived at the dining area and saw that there was only one table ready. Waiters and waitresses were all standing around that one table. All the other tables were empty. Just one prepared table in the whole restaurant.

"Here's your table, sir," the waiter told them. Barry joined Bibiana's side and grabbed ahold of her hand.

"I thought it'd be nice if it was quiet, so I bought out the entire restaurant," Ray told them. "Too much?"

"Just a tad, sweetie," Felicity answered.

"So how did you two meet?" Eddie asked Ray and Felicity. Bibiana's mind couldn't help but to flashback, to the day Barry woke up. When she hated her powers and wanted to get rid of them. She's changed a lot since then.

"Work," Felicity answered.

"Actually, I bought the company where Felicity was employed so she was forced to join me at Palmer Tech," Ray explained.

"It's not as creepy as it sounds," Felicity added. Bibiana stared at her empty plate and imagined there being food.

"So you two work closely together," Iris said. Felicity let out an mhm. "Interesting. I guess you guys share all your thoughts and feelings and..."

"Yeah, I share everything with Felicity," Ray replied.

"It's nice that you guys have that level of communication," Iris said. That caused Bibiana to shift slightly in her chair. She did not tell Barry everything, which seemed to be a small problem in their relationship.

"Oh, well, no, not every everything," Felicity cleared up after seeing Iris look at Eddie. "I mean, sometimes it's good to just shut up, heh."

"I don't tell Barry everything," Bibiana pointed out, trying to help Eddie. She had no idea what he was hiding but if Felicity was helping him, she would too. At the mention of his name, Barry looked down at Bibiana.

He wondered what Bibiana was keeping from him. A huge part of him was hoping it wasn't Wells related.

"I get that. Some things are better left unspoken," Eddie agreed.

"Really?" Iris asked. "I don't find that to be true.

The doors opened revealing waiters to enter with plates of food.

"Oh, thank God. It's the food. Food's here, " Barry announced. The conversation was just a train wreck.

"Our first course on the tasting menu is a quail-egg frittata. Bon appétit," the waiter told them. Bibiana looked down at the small portion of food. She was happy she brought along some of Cisco's food bars.

"Barry, Bibiana, I gotta admit, I envy you sending so much time at S.T.A.R. Labs," Ray told them. "Harrison Wells is like a personal hero of mine. I mean, it's amazing just actually being in the same room with him."

"You get used to it after working for years with the guy," Bibiana pointed out.

"Yeah," Barry replied. He was acting weirder than usual at the mention of Wells. "I'll be right back. Just excuse me."

Bibiana was half-way getting up to follow Barry when Felicity gave her a look. The one where she knows that she could solve it and tell her later.

"I, um, need to pee," Felicity told them, before going through the same doors as Barry.

"So, what haven't you told Barry?" Iris questioned Bibiana.

"Stuff," Bibiana replied, eating her small portion of food.

"What kind of stuff?" Iris asked. The pressure was being put on Bibiana and she felt like it was more aimed towards Eddie.

"My allergies to bees," Bibiana answered. "And the fact that... wait, no he knows that one. I'm going to go and get Barry."

She got up really quick and went towards the other room. The girl could hear Iris asking Eddie questions now. Quickly, she opened the door and saw Barry and Felicity talking.

"It's getting really heated out there," Bibiana told them.

"It's really intense," Ray added, also entering the room. All four of them left the room to see what was going on with Iris and Eddie.

"When you are ready to act like we are two people who love each other, call me," Iris told Eddie. "I'll be at my dad's."

Iris left leaving Bibiana looking at the sad scene. She knew how it felt to lose a loved one because of a misunderstanding.

"Thank you for dinner. I gotta go," Eddie told them. He left the restaurant and Bibiana took out a food bar from her clutch.

"Uh, emergency at S.T.A.R. Labs," Barry informed the three people who stayed.

"Go," Felicity told them. The hungry girl shoved the bar back into her small bag before her body turned into electricity.

"What did I miss?" Bibiana asked, appearing in the middle of the cortex. The protein bar was in her hand before she started to eat it. Cisco turned to face her, holding up the small tube with the bee Barry caught.

"Let's see what makes this bee so poisonous," Cisco said. Caitlin and Bibiana quickly followed Cisco into the side room to take a look at the bee.

"That is one odd-looking bee," Caitlin commented.

"That's because it isn't a bee at all," Cisco informed them. He moved away from the microscope and looked at Caitlin. "It's a robot."

"No way," Caitlin said, taking a look through the microscope.

"Robot or not, I still hate the thing," Bibiana muttered. No one or thing tries to kill her boyfriend and gets away with it.

"This bot's got a 360-degree vision system," Cisco informed everyone. "I mean, we're talking multiple micro cameras all coming from various angles at the same time. Which means--"

"It can see all around the room at once," Ray finished off. "That's amazing."

"Amazing." Cisco had said the one word at the same time as Ray.

"I have to now bee proof my apartment," Bibiana muttered. She tugged on the S.T.A.R. Labs shirt she had changed into earlier.

"Disturbing," Caitlin commented.

"It's next-gen hardware that's nowhere near the market," Dr. Wells informed them.

"So we're not dealing with a metahuman," Felicity pointed out.

"It's just a mad scientist," Barry said.

"Cisco, you said Bill Carlisle was a robotics engineer. Let's cross-reference his previous employers with Kang's," Dr. Wells said.

"Allow me," Felicity said, rushing towards the computer next to Cisco. "Mama's been away from the keyboard for far too long."

It occurred to Bibiana that she couldn't remember the last time she hacked into something.

Felicity was quick to pull up the necessary information about the two victims.

"They both worked at Mercury's Labs," Barry said.

"Let's call Joe. I think it's time we paid a visit to an old friend," Dr. Wells told them.

"So what happens if I press this button?" Bibiana asked. She pressed a button and smiled to herself. Her Ramon noodles were being cooked.

Once the small beep told her that her noodles were ready, she opened the microwave. Her hands grabbed the hot container and went to go and find a fork after setting it down.

While digging around for a fork, she looked up to see everyone in the cortex. Bibiana looked back down to see that she was searching the air. She hastily stood up straight and noticed Barry beside her.

"We found her? Didn't we?" Bibiana asked, referring to Brie Larvan. Dr. Wells had informed them how Brie was fired and went off killing a list of people. Two were down. One was left.

"Yes," Felicity answered Bibiana's question. The girl in sweats turned around and started to head for her suit chamber.

"I get to buy Big Belly Burger after this." Bibiana walked back out with her purple suit on. She had to admit that a suit update was due soon.

"How do we stop them?" Barry asked, also walking out of his suit chamber.

"She's gotta be remotely piloting those bees from somewhere," Dr. Wells informed them.

"We need to stop this bug-eyed glasses woman," Cisco told them.

"And her mini bandits," Ray added. The two looked at each other, already getting a name.

"Bug-Eyed Bandit."

"That was some weird twin thing," Bibiana muttered. She put on her purple electrical mask.

"She's in an abandoned greenhouse," Felicity informed them.

"Barry, Bibiana, take out Brie. It's the only way to stop these nanodroins," Dr. Wells told them.

"What about Dr. McGee?" Barry asked.

"The defibrillator in your suit is broken," Caitlin told Barry. "You cannot risk going near Mercury Labs. Especially if there is a chance Bibiana is going to freak out or leave. Or if she has an allergy reaction to the bee sting."

"We don't know if I would have an allergy reaction," Bibiana said. " I haven't been stung yet. My body could probably heal me."

"Or it probably can't," Caitlin pointed out. "You are already slow at healing."

"The bees can't penetrate my suit," Ray told them. "I'll go."

"Whoa. We haven't tested out the new power system yet," Cisco informed Ray.

"We'll do it now," Ray replied.

"I'm following you," Cisco said, leaving the cortex.

"I'm driving," Caitlin added. She got up and followed Cisco.

"And I'm kissing you," Felicity told Ray. She kissed Ray before he left.

"Dr. Wells--" Barry was cut off by Dr. Wells.

"Mr. Palmer will protect Tina. Go."

Bibiana stayed behind to look at the directions. Her eyes studied it for a quick second before she turned into electricity and left.

There was a small flicker of lights before Electric Storm appeared in the greenhouse. She had to admit, she got a little excited on the way there. The Flash stopped next to her as they both looked at the seat in front of them.

"I think I fried something on my way in," Electric Storm confessed.

"It's over, Brie," the Flash told Bug-Eyed Bandit. The blonde girl turned around to see Electric Storm and the Flash. "We know you're trying to kill Dr. McGee. You think that she betrayed you. I can imagine how that feels."

"You think you understand the sting of betrayal?" Brie asked. "I'll show you what it means to be stung."

A swarm of bees appeared causing Bibiana to act upon an instinct. Flight or fight. She was leaning towards flight.

The Flash grabbed Electric Storm and took off running around the greenhouse. They stopped at a point because of the swarm of bees surrounding them. Before they attacked the two heroes, the bees stopped and just hovered.

"Barry, Bibiana, I hacked into the bees' frequency. I'm controlling them," Felicity informed them. "Oh, it's on."

"I think Felicity found a nemesis," Bibiana said. The bees seemed to be unable to figure out who to listen too. It was slowly triggering the flight part of her. "Help!"

"Felicity right now would be a good time to do something," Barry said into his headpiece. "Felicity."

The bees dropped onto the floor. Motionless. Electric Storm turned into electricity and went into the wiring. She fried anything that could be used to turn the bees back on but left some of it undamaged. The evidence couldn't be contaminated.

"Brie's restrained. Call C.C.P.D," Barry informed the group. Bibiana appeared out of the wiring and held up a peace sign.

"I really wanted to do that," Bibiana said, before lowering her hand.

"Come on. We have to do," Barry replied. A small laugh escaped his mouth causing Bibiana to smile. Her body turned into electricity allowing her to go back into the electrical system.

"One number five, please," Electric Storm ordered. She took out a ten from her empty gun holster. Once she paid for her meal, she waited on the side to get her food.

The girl couldn't help to make a pit spot to buy some food. She even made sure her mask was secure on her face so she didn't reveal who she was.

"Bibiana. We need you," Caitlin said, in Bibiana's ear comm. "Cisco has been stung."

"Hey, give my order to the homeless guy outside," Bibiana told one of the workers. She quickly ran outside and turned into electricity. Her body traveled through the electrical system heading towards S.T.A.R. Labs.

When she arrived she saw Barry pressing his hands against Cisco's chest. Bibiana quickly ran up to them.

"Cisco," Barry said towards the body on the ground. Cisco let out a huge gasp causing Bibiana let a sigh of relief.

"Either my fear of bees is over, or it just got a lot worse," Cisco confessed.

"Thank God you're okay," Caitlin said.

"I'm happy you're alive," Bibiana told him. She placed her hand on her heart. It was official, she was no longer doing pit stops unless it was on her way to or from work.

"I've never had anybody take a bee for me," said Ray. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, bro," Cisco replied.

"Cisco... you're a hero, man," Barry told Cisco.

"We got to visit each other when there isn't a problem involving death or jail," Bibiana told her friend. She couldn't tell Felicity bye later in the day since she had other things to do.

"But this is the life we choose," Felicity replied.

"That is very true," Bibiana agreed. "How about the next time I'm in Starling City, we try to spend it without any criminals. We can even babysit baby Bibiana."

"Ross named his child after you?" Felicity asked, surprised.

"No," Bibiana answered. "His three-year-old daughter is named Jade. But his one-year-old son is named Rai. It means lightning, trust, and thunder in Japanese. Which is weird since we're half American and half Chinese."

"What if he just really liked those names?" Felicity asked.

"He didn't pick them. Monica did," Bibiana replied. "And I was joking."

"Oh, I'm going to miss you," Felicity told Bibiana.

"I hope they have Disney songs," Bibiana admitted. She was walking towards Barry's lab with Caitlin and Cisco. They were going to karaoke and she couldn't wait. She has been practice some of her singing. In her apartment. Alone.

"All right, all right. Who's ready for some karaoke?" Cisco asked, singing the last word. They were barely walking into the room.

"What's that?" Bibiana asked, pointing towards the board. Her eyes looked at every piece of the article there was before she looked at Barry and Joe.

"We are not going to karaoke, are we?" Caitlin asked.

"No," Barry replied, getting up and heading towards the board. "Um... This is everything we know about my mother's murder and the Reverse-Flash. I've been gathering information on him for a long time. And this is everything we know about Dr. Wells."

Barry pulled down a sheet of paper. There were surprisingly fewer articles about Wells. Bibiana looked at each article and tried to piece everything together.

"I don't understand," Caitlin said. "What do Dr. Wells and the Reverse-Flash have to do with each other?"

"Um... They're the same person," Barry answered.

"We are talking about Harrison Wells? The guy in the wheelchair?" Bibiana asked. She was hesitant about Wells but that was because of Eiling.

"That's impossible," Caitlin added.

"Look, Caitlin, it took me a long time to believe it too but it's him," Barry told her. He took steps closer while Bibiana thought things over.

"Dr. Wells is a speedster?" Caitlin questioned. "Like Bibiana said; he's paralyzed."

"Is he, though?" Joe asked.

"And why would he kill Barry's mother?" Caitlin asked. "It doesn't make any sense. Cisco? Bibiana? Say something."

"Sending me out for coffee," Bibiana muttered. That's all she had to say. Why did Wells send her out for coffee on one of the most important days?

"I've been having these dreams," Cisco confessed. "Mostly at night but sometimes during the day. But they don't really feel like dreams. They-- They feel real."

"What happens in the dream?" Barry asked.

"Dr. Wells is the Reverse-Flash," Cisco replied. "And he killed me and Bibiana."
