F I F T Y - T W O:
poison of the party
"Are you coming?" Iris asked Bibiana over the phone. With everything going on, she almost forgot that she was going to a party with Iris.
"Yeah, there's just some traffic," Bibiana lied, while she walked around the cortex. She was in the dress that she had brought along to work. Now she needed she solve two problems with one stone. "I'll see you soon."
"Why are you so dressed up?" Caitlin asked Bibiana.
"I'm going to the reelection party the Mayor is having," Bibiana answered. "I suspect that the Trickster is going to be there because of all the important people."

"Over here," Iris called out. Bibiana spotted Iris by the front doors and joined her.
"Sorry that I'm slightly late. Traffic was horrible," Bibiana lied.
"It's okay," Iris replied, with a smile. The two started to head inside. "I'm just happy you were able to join me."
"Anything for a friend," Bibiana smiled. They stopped at the identification table.
"Hi, Iris West. I'm with Central City Picture News," Iris informed them. She showed them her I.D.
"Bibiana Solace. I'm here on Oliver Queen's behalf," Bibiana said, showing her I.D. They both thanked the table before joining the party.
"Oh my God. Oliver put you down as his representative?" Iris asked, shocked.
"He owed me a favor," Bibiana answered with a smirk.
"Champagne, miss?" a waiter asked. He seemed familiar to Bibiana but she couldn't figure out who it was.
"Ah, thank you. Heh," Iris told the man, taking a glass. Bibiana grabbed one to be polite. She wasn't going to drink it since alcohol didn't have an effect on her anymore.
The two walked deeper into the party until they spotted the Mayor.
"Oh, Mayor Bellows," Iris said, tugging Bibiana along. "Hi. This is a lovely party."
"Thank you," the Mayor replied.
"Very classy," Bibiana commented with a smile.
"Welcome, welcome, Central City's finest," the waiter from earlier announced. "How about a toast? To Mayor Anthony Bellows. He doesn't just yell at his staff he bellows."
A small laugh escaped Bibiana's lips. She understood the pun and it was funny. The Mayor left Bibiana and Iris' side to go and talk to the waiter.
"You see what I did there with the wordplay and the...? Eh. Tough crowd," the waiter said. Gears started to turn in her mind until she figured out he was.
"Excuse me," the mayor said. He covered the microphone with his hand. "Who are you?"
"How quickly they forget," said the Trickster. "James Jesse, your honor." He took off his glasses and his wig. "A.K.A., ha-ha-ha, the Trickster. And I'm here to relieve you fine people from all your money. Because we know if you're in this room, oh, ha, ha." Axel took out a big gun and loaded it up. "You've got loads of it."
"What makes you think that anyone would give you a cent?" the Mayor asked.
"What makes him think I have a cent?" Bibiana muttered.
"Because that champagne they just slurped down like so much fruit punch? I added a little something special to it," the Trickster explained. Bibiana looked down at her untouched glass. It seemed like a good idea she didn't drink any of it. "Trimethylmercury-32. Poison. Without the antidote, you'll begin to feel the effects in about, oh, um..."
"One hour," Axel yelled.
"One hour," the Trickster repeated. A man started to spit out foam from his mouth. Bibiana handed her glass to Iris and rushed to the man's side. She didn't know what to do but she patted the man's back. "I remember you. You got to the party about an hour early. I offered you the very first glass of champagne."
The man fell on the floor dead. In front of Bibiana's feet. Her gaze shifted from the dead man to the Trickster.
"An hour is plenty of time for all of you to call your bankers and transfer everything you have to the account number on the bottom of your glass," the Trickster informed them. The girl head back to Iris and grabbed her glass. She looked at it and saw the tiny black printed numbers. "Once my young friend and I are rich, you'll get the antidote. If any of you decide to call 911 instead, well then we switch to lead poisoning."
The Trickster took out his gun and pointed it around the room. Bibiana could feel the pressure of her gun pressing against her leg.
"How many of you feel the trimethylene-32 coursing through your veins?" the Trickster asked. Axel and the evil genius started to walk among the crowd.
"Iris, I have a gun," Bibiana whispered. She tipped her glass onto the floor to get rid of the horrifying drink before placing it on the floor.
"Help is on the way," Iris whispered back.
"Well, hello," the Trickster said, walking from behind them. He was talking directly towards Iris. "You know, ahem, I've been in prison for 20 years."
"Then you'll know the routine when you get sent back," Iris shot back. Bibiana let her hand inched towards her gun slowly.
The Flash ran past them, grabbing the Trickster and pushing him a hint the wall.
"Where's Henry Allen?" the Flash asked.
"He's where you'll be soon. Heaven," the Trickster answered. Axel laughed as he attacked a device on the Flash's wrist. "Are you familiar with the movie Speed? Keanu Reeves? Sandra Bullock? You're the bus and that's the bomb. Kinetic bomb, actually. If you go below 600 miles per hour it'll explode. Same thing happens if you try to remove it." Axel turned it on. "Ooh! It's active, runs, run, run."
The Flash left City Hall in a rush. They were royally screwed without the Flash.
"Oh, how I wish his lady friend showed us," the Trickster said. That couldn't happen since the hero was trapped in the building, unable to leave to change.
"Oh. Look at that Lobsters on me, kid," the Trickster told Axel. Bibiana watched everyone transfer their money over to the criminals.
She couldn't take it any longer. Her hand quickly pulled up the right side of her dress to reveal her gun. Hastily, she grabbed it and pointed it towards both the Tricksters.
"Okay, listen, you two are crazy fools. Give these people the antidote and I won't aim for your head or your heart," Bibiana threatened. There was a blur that went around the room, poking people. He even poked Bibiana. The Flash stood at the front and out of the guns way.
"It's okay, you've all been given an antidote," the Flash assured them.
"That wasn't very sanitary," the Trickster told Axel. Bibiana riled her eyes and took steps closer to the criminals.
"Where's Henry Allen?" the Flash asked. "You're going to prison, either way, James."

"Half of this stuff didn't even exist when I was practicing," Henry Allen told the S.T.A.R. Lab group.
"Pretty amazing," Bibiana commented. Barry was grateful enough to introduce his father to everyone. Especially Bibiana.
"I'd be happy to give you a crash course on all of it if you get out," Cisco told Henry. "I'm gonna shut up now."
"That's okay," Henry assured Cisco.
"Do you happen to have any embarrassing stories about Barry?" Bibiana asked hopefully. Barry had heard many about Bibiana that it only seemed fair if she heard some.
"Plenty," Henry said. "How about I tell you them as Cisco said; when I get out of jail?"
"Dr. Allen?" Caitlin asked.
"Yes?"
"I'm feeling the need to give you a hug," Caitlin told him.
"Absolutely, I will always accept a hug." Henry hugged the young doctor. Bibiana had a smile on her face while she went ahead and went to her station.
"Actually, you're all heroes in my book. Especially you, Dr. Wells," Henry told the group after a small chat with Barry. He walked up to the scientist in the wheelchair. "Thank you. For everything that you've done for my son."
"Well, your son is an extraordinary man, Dr. Allen," Harrison told Henry. "I will do everything in my power to ensure Barry's future."
Father and son hugged for a good time. Henry let go and turned to Joe, holding out his hands.
"It's time, Joe," Henry said.
"No," Joe replied.
"No?"
"No," Joe repeated. He took Henry out as if Henry wasn't serving time at the jail. It caused a small smile to appear on Bibiana's face.
Caitlin went ahead and gave Barry a hug. "It seemed like you could use a hug too."
Bibiana walked out of the cortex to gather her stuff. There was sleep she needed to catch up on.

"Let's get down to business, to defeat the Huns," Bibiana was singing to Disney music. "Did they send me daughters, when I asked for sons?"
The girl jumped into the air and kicked nothing. Mulan was her all-time favorite Disney movie. It always got her excited.
"It's too cliche I won't say I'm in love," Bibiana was singing to I Won't Say I'm In Love from Hercules. "I thought my heart had learned its lesson. It feels so good when you start out."
There was a knock on the door causing Bibiana to turn down the volume. She walked to the door humming to the song. Barry's face appeared causing Bibiana to shut the door close.
She ran her fridge and hid her Hot Pockets behind the milk and the corn dogs. As quickly as she hid the food, she rushed back to the door. It opened up again and Barry was standing there.
"You hid the hot pockets?" Barry asked. He walked into the apartment as Bibiana opened the door wider. She closed the door behind him and nodded her head. "It's behind the milk?"
"I hate how you know me so well," Bibiana said, heading towards the kitchen. She took out the box and started to make them both some food. "What brings you by?"
"Do you want to watch all the Mulan movies?"
