T H R E E:
A dead man's evil deeds

Bibiana looked at the gloves in front of her. She was questioning something within her. Letting out a sigh, she picked up her phone. She was about to call her family when Barry walked in.

"Bibiana and I weren't the only ones affected by the particle accelerator explosion, were we?" Barry asked. Everyone looked at each other. Bibiana put her phone in her pocket and put on the gloves.

"We don't know for sure," Dr. Wells answered.

"You said the city was safe, that there was no residual danger," Barry said. "But that's not true. What really happened that night?"

Dr. Wells looked over at his three employees.

"Well, the accelerator went active. We all felt like heroes, and then it all went wrong. The dimensional barrier ruptured unleashing unknown energies in our world. Antimatter, dark energy, X-elements -"

"Those are all theoretical," Barry said, turning away from the screen. Bibiana closed her eyes trying to keep the memory at bay. She let her energy flow through her gloves.

"And how theoretical are you?" Dr. Wells asked. "We mapped the dispersion throughout and around Central City though we have no way of knowing exactly what or who was exposed."

All of Bibiana's friend turned to look at her.

"We've been searching for other meta-humans like yourself and Ms. Solace."

"Meta-humans?" Barry asked.

"That's what we're calling them," Caitlin answered.

"I saw one today. He's a bank robber and he can control the weather," Barry said.

"This just keeps getting cooler," Cisco said. Bibiana slapped his chest.

"This is not cool," Barry said. "All right? A man died. Mardon must have gotten his powers the same way Bibiana and I did from the storm cloud. He's still out there. We have to stop him before he hurts anyone else."

Barry turned around and started to leave.

"Barry," Dr. Wells said. "That's a job for the police."

"I work for the police," Barry said.

"As a forensic assistant," Dr. Wells said.

"You're responsible for this. For him," Barry said. Bibiana remembered when she ranted to Dr. Wells in anger. It was horrible, especially when there was purple electricity consuming her body.

"What's important is you and Bibiana," Dr. Wells said loudly. "Not me. I lost everything. I lost my company. I lost my reputation. I lost my freedom. And then you broke your arm and it healed in three hours. Inside your body could be a map for a whole new world. Genetic therapies, vaccines, medicines, treasures buried deep down within your cells. And we cannot risk losing everything because you want to go out and play hero. You're not a hero. You're just a young man who was struck by lightning."

Barry looked over at Bibiana, Caitlin, and Cisco. He turned and walked out. Bibiana bit her lip before she got up and ran after him.

"Barry!" Bibiana yelled before he had a chance to take off running. She ran up next to him and faced him. "I know you are about to go out there and play Superman, or the Green Arrow, or QuickSilver."

"QuickSilver is from Marvel? Right?" Barry asked. Bibiana nodded. QuickSilver was one of her favorite Marvel heroes.

"Please be careful and don't get killed like him. Okay? You still have Iris and Detective Joe to think about," Bibiana said. She took out her phone and sent a message to a friend she kept in contact. "Go to Starling City. He'll find you."

"Are you talking about Oliver Queen?" Barry dropped his voice to a whisper. Bibiana stared at him in shock.

"H-how do you know?" Bibiana asked. Barry smiled.

"He's an old friend," Barry said. Bibiana's phone ringed with a message. She looked down to see a reply from Felicity.

Felicity:
It's all done and ready :-) just need the speedster

"How do you know about Oliver?" Barry asked causing Bibiana to look up.

"I went to the same college as Felicity Smoak. As well as Winn Schott . . . I went to school with a lot of good hackers who are now ITs. . ." Bibiana trailed off at the thought. How did she not notice that before?

"Oliver?" Barry asked making Bibiana focus again.

"Right! I went to Starling City to ask Felicity a few things. There was a danger. I got saved. Hacked into Felicity's computer because she can't lie. Found out who Oliver was and helped improve their computers," Bibiana explain.

"Thanks," Barry said with a small smile. Bibiana was about to smile back when he took off running.

"You're welcome."

"I've been going over unsolved cases from the past nine months, and there's been a sharp increase in unexplained deaths and missing people," Barry said. "Your meta-humans have been busy. Now, I'm not blaming you. I know you didn't mean for any of this to happen. I know you all lost something. But I need your help to catch Mardon and anyone else out there like him. But I can't do it without you."

The three friends looked at each other. Bibiana had set her gloves aside and was leaning against the table. This felt more right then how she usually was.

"If we're gonna do this, I have something that might help," Cisco said. Bibiana smiled as they followed Cisco through S.T.A.R. Labs. They watched as he turned around a suit.

"Something Bibi and I have been playing with," Cisco said. "Designed to replace the turnouts firefighters traditionally wear. I thought if S.T.A.R. Labs could do something nice for the community, maybe people wouldn't be so angry at Dr. Wells anymore."

"I helped design it and sewing it together," Bibiana said with a small smile.

"How is it going to help me?" Barry asked.

"It's made of a reinforced tri-polymer. It's heat and abrasive resistant, so it should withstand your moving at high-velocity speeds. And the aerodynamic design should help you maintain control," Cisco explained.

"Plus, it has built-in sensors so we can track your vitals and stay in contact with you from here," Bibiana said. She touched the suit and sent a small current through it. "That should turn it on without me having to do it on the computer."

"Thanks," Barry said. "Now how do we find Mardon?"

"I retasked S.T.A.R. Labs satellite to track meteorological abnormalities over Central City," Caitlin said. "We just got a ping. Atmospheric pressure dropped 20 millibars in a matter of seconds. I've tracked it to a farm just west of the city."

"Barry. Barry, this thing's getting closer," Cisco said into the microphone. "Winds speeds are 200 miles per hour and increasing. Barry, can you hear me?"

"Yeah. Loud and clear," Barry's voice said. Bibiana looked at the speed of the wind and knew that a tornado has formed.

"If it keeps up, this could become an F-5 tornado," Cisco said.

"And I don't think any of us are going to see the wizard," Bibiana said.

"And it's headed towards the city. How do I stop it?" Barry asked. "Guys? What if I unravel it?"

Bibiana quickly started typing and made a 3D model. It showed Barry running around the tornado going the other direction at a very fast speed.

"How are you gonna do that?" Caitlin asked. Bibiana typed in a few more calculations.

"I'll run around it in the opposite direction. Cut off its legs," Barry replied.

"700 miles per hour," Bibiana announced.

"He'd have to clock 700 miles per hour to do that like Bibi said," Cisco agreed with what Bibiana said.

"Your body may not be able to handle those speeds. You'll die," Caitlin informed them.

"I have to try," Barry replied.

"Ha, ha. The suit's holding up," Cisco noted. Bibiana gave him a high five before putting their attention back on the screens.

"You know it," Bibiana replied with a smile.

"But he's not," Caitlin said. Bibiana's smile was wiped off her face.

"He can do it. I know he can do it," said Cisco.

"We have to have faith in Allen," Bibiana commented. She switched the screen to also look at Barry's vitals.

"It's too strong," Barry informed them after being thrown around. Bibiana started to type something into the computer.

"You can do this, Barry," Wells said. Bibiana stopped typing and looked over at her boss. "You were right. I am responsible for all of this. So many people have been hurt because of me. And when I looked at you or Bibiana, all I saw was another potential victim of my hubris. And yes, I created this madness. But you, Barry, you can stop it. You can do this. Now run, Barry. Run!"

"Have we ever told you that you need a bell?" Bibiana asked. The question was ignored as they watch Barry do it.

Once the tornado was unraveled, there was silence on their end.

"Barry?" Caitlin asked. Panic started to rise inside of Bibiana. "Barry?"

"It's over," Barry answered. Bibiana relaxed before she typed one last thing on her computer. "I'm okay."
